OK...I got this Chinese tabelet,it runs on 4.4.2 ,and a SoC new to me,"spreadrum" or so...but the problem is,I got this tab to play games mainly, and my main target is modern combat 5,but I don't have WiFi 4 mp..on my previous devices I use the " fake WiFi connection" module but I tried installing xposed on this device,a app installs,I open "framework " n click install ,the process shows successful and I reboot ,but when I relaunch the xposed app,it shows xposed is not active...no matter how many times I reboot,it just doesn't work..and I used both the current latest version which is in beta and the immediate previous version which is stable...non works...

What is built-in rom? MIUI? or other?
Try to use wsm tools instead of xposed framework if your rom is chinese.

I dont have any issues while using Vanced and SC, along with Magisk too. lol
It was last week. I used the root method.
I got banned from Snapchat 2 days after installing Lucky Patcher & Youtube Vanced. I went to Lucky Patcher and " reinstalled " Snapchat as it was supposed to delete android patches related to Snapchat.
2 days later I got banned once again. I have uninstalled Lucky Patcher and Youtube Vanced, since then no ban from Snapchat (for 1 week)
I think I will try one more time with only Youtube Vanced installed to see what happens but I fear I will definitively banned
Other people have experienced the same issue.

Don't use the root method. I never have. Best practice for security in general is to only provide root for apps that truly need it. It's considered bad security design to achieve something with root that could also be achieved without root, hence YouTube Vanced providing a non-root version. Just make sure magisk hide is enabled while you're at it

I'm on the same Rom + Xposed beta with no issues, just make sure the module is enabled, clear YouTube App data. and and reboot.
This application was tested against the latest YouTube update (5.3.24) and it's been downloaded more than 1500 in the last 10 hours with no such reports! if you are using any other version upload it.
EDIT: YouTube AdAway V1.1 posted.
The new update V1.1 requires Xposed framework 2.3+ (API 31+), because it includes some check helpers to detect Xposed installation status.
I am getting ads.. I am on Temasek (cm10.2)
Edit :after updating YouTube nw its working..

So since you said that this module requires that we be on Xposed Framework 2.3+ (API 31+), I'm gonna assume that this also includes people that are running the new Xposed Framework BETA...? I know for a fact that I haven't installed the BETA yet, but I'm not too sure how I can check and see which Xposed Framework "API" I'm running. When I open up Xposed, I can click on "About" and under "Version of this app:" it shows "2.3.1". How can I check and see which Xposed Framework API I'm running?
Thanks! :good:

I'm running the beta2 of Xposed Installer too.
You can check the API version on the framework tab of Xposed installer.
Anyway you will get a notification on the Xposed installer modules list if you are running a lower API level, and you won't be able to activate it, also my App should let you know if the module is not enabled.

Thanks for the key info! I took a lil break from fiddling with my phone, but I just now went and messed around a little bit with YouTube and I haven't seen one single embedded "In-Video" ad ! So far, so good!! Thanks man!!! Oh yea, one quick question..how's this module gonna be affected when Google spits out another update to the YouTube app? Is it possible for an update to the YouTube app to "break the functionality" of this module, or do we not really have much to worry about when taking any YouTube updates? Thanks in advance for the info! :good:

Yo. Xposed is pretty unstable at zenfone 5. At least for me I can't run the greenify module and didn't tried the amplify but the greenify keeps rebooting the phone and so...Now I only use greenify @ root and it's fine. And I removed the xposed
Not really

Xposed is not at all unstable. The only issue ZenFones ever had with Xposed was the installation bit, and that's why we have this tool. I haven't used Greenify so I can't write anything about it but so far I have had no issues with Xposed framework.

Installation was fine. Greenify can run and how it works. Other modules for xposed well. I have a problem that applications that are not part of xposed causes the system rebooted. For example, e-mail, weather, 2SD card, and many more. I was very much looking forward to xposed. But for restart other applications we have to uninstall it.
Any idea

It might be possible that Greenify is causing all your problems. So what I suggest is a clean Xposed Install. And not use Greenify, at least for now. It sure is worth a try.
Xposed installs normally on my ASUS ZenFone 5 (A501CG) without this thing. No bootloops, no problems, nothing. Everything just works fine.

quite interesting post, totally run into this thread by accident.
having lenovo TabS-50F, which comes with Intel processor. Checking some users who has the same tablet, many did report that normal xposed worked fine, but some got issue with random reboot...i wonder if this is related to using normal xposed installer..

I think it depends more on the modules. If you use normal install xposed you will soft brick your zenphone ( not 100% sure but pretty sure).

WIth the Stock ROM you won't be able to use all the functionalities provided by GravityBox however universal modules will work. If you want to use Xposed to it's fullest I suggest that you flash this AOSP ROM.
hi
after flashing xposed framework get fc on LG Cover and LG weather
then remove those app
fc solved but i have low storage problem
wipe cache & dalvik but problem exist
anyone have idea?
sorry for bad english
everyone have this problem, i have tha same problem too but idk how to fix it...
I get constant com.android.phone errors but no storage errors when I install xposed... You guys don't get those?

Here is my advice: wait for the non-alpha xposed framework, then use it.
For me Xposed is almost works
First install SElinux mode changer and change to permissive
Second install zip from recovery
Next WIPE cache/dalvik cache
Reboot, install xposed apk
And thats it low storage problem solved, Gravitybox works.
BUT... Now after open some app, for example forefox I have constant com.android.phone errors...
I have same problems... I frozed smartcover and weather. My device started lagging and says that my internal memory is full. wiping dalvik and cache resolved this problem, but Phone app started crashing constantly. ofc it is possible to use xposed, but your phone will be useless. You can't call to someone or use mobile data.
This mod is just incompatible with our device

S3 Neo here too running CM12.1. Everything crashes after installing either Greenify or Nova Launcher. Disabling with adb makes everything normal again.
Also, are you getting "There is an internal error with your device ...." error too?
No I don't get that message. My phone just crashes when I install Greenify and then he reboots itself. After reboot every app stops working.
It seems that more and more of us is getting this problem. Hope someone will help.

I don't think that anyone had this issue with the earlier versions. If you have this issue on earlier versions also, then it is possible that the problem lies elsewhere.

In that case check whether the update of ROM, kernel etc have anything to do with it.
If not, do a clean install of your ROM and then install an earlier version of Greenify.

Thanks for your suggestion. And which rom do u now using for the s3 neo i9301i ??
You know about any other stable and best rom for our device??
I have the same problem on my Samsung Galaxy S1 Plus ( i9001 ) with CM 12.1 fresh clean install. Current version Greenify 3.9.5 crashes everything and I end up in a bootloop with optimising apps.
What version did you guys use???
Edit: Authy via YalpStore ends up the same. -.-" I deleted everything with authy in it's name via TWRP File Manager and it booted up again normal.

That's where you're, most of banking apps no longer works if you've su / custom roms installed. Try flashing magisk if you're on a Custom Rom. Or unroot your device and use banking apps.

Can you guide me how to flash magisk for samsung J5
Thx
Dude, if you Google magisk j5, you'll actually find people have already gone to the trouble of documenting this. Don't be lazy.

I had the same problem. Installed RootCloak through Xposed and added the Axis Bank app to the Cloak list and now it works fine!
Mine worked fine with rootcloak on the first run but now it won't run, any suggestions guys?
The only way
Its unfortunate that most of banking applications will not work on a rooted device anymore. I had the same issues with Axis and Federal Bank app. The only way that is working for me is uninstall the app and find an older version of the app apk and install it.
