Callers report echo on multiple ROMs - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

FIXED!! Problem was a bad gapps...Why gapps matters to voice quality I know not.
My callers report an echo, there voice echoing back at them. I myself hear nothing wrong. It's bad enough that they instantly say something, forcing me at this point to run stock 5.0 TW.
Roms tested with Echo.
Sprint Note 3 - hltespr
Cm 12.1
AICP
Dirty U.
Temasek
Pretty much UTD on all roms. Tested multiple nightlies.
I will be adding more to the list Sunday/Monday =]
My gapps wouldn't have anything to do with this? Right?
FWIW I asked on the aicp g+ group and other note 3 users have this problem on other networks.
This happends on landline or mobile.
Any help?!

[Q] How to fix speakerphone echo in CM10 for Galaxy S3 (Sprint)

I have played around with many AOSP ROMS and keep having people tell me that they are echoing when I am using speakerphone. I understand that this is a known issue that many people are having, but I wanted to see if anyone had an effective fix for this.
I am now on CM10 stable for Galaxy S3 (Sprint). Only certain people tell me that they echo when I'm on speakerphone (not everyone). And it also seems to happen when I am in certain places, like my apartment.
I have read that people have disabled "Call Cancellation" and tweaked the "EQ" settings, however, I cannot find either of these options in my call settings. If these settings exist and I can't find them, could someone tell me where they exist and how I should configure them? If these are not options, what else can I do to avoid the echo problem while on speakerphone?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Issue with calls to IVR numbers on all CM, AOSP and AOKP based ROMs

I am having this issue when I make a call to any IVR based (customer care) numbers. When I am asked by the IVR to enter a number like my phone number or customer id, even though I input the number correctly, when the IVR repeats it, the number it is repeating is totally messed up. I have tried all CM based, AOSP based and AOKP based ROMs and have faced this issue, I have tried the stable and latest nightlies upto 25th Oct 2013.. This doesn't happen with any of the Sammy based ROMs.
From all the search I have done and threads I have read, I haven't seen this issue being mentioned or I might have missed reading it.
I would appreciate it if I can get help fixing this issue or if I can be directed to a fix if it has already been posted somewhere.
Thank you.

[Q] Keypad issues with CM when connecting to conference call

I've the following issue with CM on my SII and wanted to ask if anyone else has run into a similar issue. I have to connect to conference calls on a regular basis. I call a number and then I have to enter the conference code using the keypad. Both with CM10 and CM11, the numbers I entered are different to what the conference system hears. Even though I see the correct numbers on my phone, the conference system gets a different response. Sometimes digits are repeated, and sometimes digits are missing.
Has anyone else run into this issue?
Note that the same issue with OmniRom on a Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 was described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2592102 but nobody offered any solution.
I just found this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1712256 (from 2012 with CM 7.2) which suggests that this problem only happens when the headphones are connected. I can confirm that this issue is gone when I disconnect the headphones.
Might this be a hardware issue or is this a problem with CM? Unfortunately, I cannot test with the original Android from Samsung.

Anyone facing this strange issue

Hi... Got my one and it is amazing....
But I was aware of this issue - it is not in The One... but in Cyanogenmod
I have Galaxy Note N7000 and have put a lot of custom ROMs on it.
But any ROM that was based on Cyanogenmod.... I could never dial into a conference or an IVR
With any other ROM that was not Cyanogenmod based... it worked fine
e.g. try dialing to any of the banks IVR... when they ask you to press 1 to got to X... 2 to go to Y
Or try dialing to a conference bridge. When they ask for your passcode - even when I enter the correct passcode - it is picked as something else... If I enter 23234589... it is randomly picked as some number... 223349 or something.
Anyone else facing this issue.

Click to collapse
I have Google Voice integration, but I don't see any problems with texting or calls since the 1.0v from tekmasek.
