[Q] How can I access "adb" again to fix bootloop (Android)? Please Help, only simple.
Device: Huawei Y200, RecoveryMode: Clockworkmod
Ok. Here is what Happened:
- I Flashed the device using a batch file, using device's adb access.
- got a market app, mistakenly accepted an intstall request ( a clockworkmod recovery).
- It Must have tried to replace the excisting one, and somehow phone turned off.
- Phone reboot wasn't successful and it went into boot-loop ( the first bootloader logo started and won't go further/ freezes there)
- While phone was boot looping, when in frozen bootloader logo, I could connect it to the PC and gain access to its adb.
- I reflashed it, and not further changes happened. Factory reset it with Recovery Mode, and nothing was solved (still boot looping)
- I then tryed reflashing again (still gained access to adb) and nothng happened.
- Tryed wiping cache partition, then dalvik cache, the cache in "mounts and storage" selection in Recovery Mode. Nothing changed i couldn't solve Bootlooping.
- I then wanted to try a command i found that makes device go into fastboot, and connected the device to computer and found no adb when phone is in bootloader.
- Couldn't go further not seing abd device to flash it and got phone into recovery mode and tried searching for adb and found it but with "recovery" beside it (maybe haven't seen it before as maybe i flashed phone while IN recovery mode too). Tried to inputn a command and it stated "waiting for device" and phone never responded.
- I tried the batch file to reflash it and it said "waiting for device".
- Now I can't reflash the phone, use commands, access adb while in bootloader, and even when I see the adb (under recovery mode) it doesn't access the phone.
I read about how i can make the bootloader update from .img's on SD. and usefull commands to go into fastboot, resolviong boot loop (Using ADB), and using and .img that is a fastboot recovery... But i can't either access adb or when i do (under recovery mode) it doesnt respond. I didn't try .img's yet, or read more about .img's with fastboot recovery. Please help and if any other details needed please inform.
Thank you...
Well the power on/off button on my g300 doesnt work anymore because i broke it.
and i can not select anything from the recovery menu and i cant even boot to recovery but i can boot to recovery from ADB
i tried flash with fastboot the cwm touch zip and img but none work because it always says waiting for device
also when i write adb devices the device is recognized but when i write fastboot devices it doesnt say anything
and when i turn the phone on, i had b2g but i forgot the security code, i managed to delete the settings with adb and it was back on default and b2g booted normally, now it doesnt boot anymore and i only see the red huawei logo is it possible that i have softbricked my phone any way to fix this?
hi. I have prime and it is stuck into twrp screen with just teamwin screen keep on flashing. nothing happens and it doesn't boot into recovery(twrp) also. tried to boot into bootloader by holding power button and volume down but nothing happens. then tried adb. used abd reboot bootloader and also adb fastboot recovery. but nothing happens, only shown "waiting for any device". thought adb not working but when I type adb devices.....it shows device serial number and recovery written next to it. I think adb works but I am not able to boot into recovery or bootloader....
earlier I was using cayanogen rom and twrp as recovery... tried to falsh another rom and from that day had this problem. if anyone knows what should do or what's the problem.. I be very thankful... please if you have any idea tell me what to do??
fastboot devices ?
Hi all, I wonder if anybody can help with this.
my volume buttons are not working (hardware issue) and I was trying to install TWRP and a custom rom but, after installing TWRP the phone now always boots in recovery mode (at least this is what adb tells me) but TWRP does not really start, I keep seeing only "honor, powered by android" black screen.
adb is working but not fastboot. I tried to reboot to bootloader but it always go to recovery instead. I have no su, and I am stuck just with adb in recovery.
any idea?
If you have full adb access maybe you can restore your backup directly from it
Thanks Rayan
how? what do you mean by "full adb access"?
I tried to run adb sideload but it does not work (it says "closed" shortly after without doing anything)
I don't really understand what the issue is, do you have access to TWRP menu or not at all? And when you say that you can use adb, is the device recognized when you type adb devices ? And what happens when you try to boot in bootloader and use fastboot? Can you try to the command "adb reboot bootloader"?

Thanks Rayan, I finally solved replacing the volume buttons (found cheap ones). However adb was working but no matter which command I was sending (adb reboot bootloader) the phone was always rebooting in recovery mode but TWRP was not starting properly (could not see anything)
with volume buttons I managed to enter into bootloader, reflash TWRP and do everything I needed
Thanks
Hi:
My unlocked bootloader SS2 phone got stucked in Download Mode after successfully installed/flashed AICP ROM
It booted once and when i rebooted to enter recovery got stucked. Tried pushing buttons combos but still stucked in Dmode.
Have no access to fastboot from Windows but can get limited access to fastboot in Debian: can flash several twrp recoveries, can flash
AICP ROM again but can not get fastboot oem commands working.
Can't enter to recovery because phone never turn off.
Tried also to come back to Nougat but can't enter recovery to flash ss2_old_bootloader.
I do not know what to do.
Any help?

I also have problem after flashing to AICP and sometimes phone (after power off) stuck in Download mode.
Just enter:
fastboot --set-active=a reboot

I have the same problem. I tried to follow your advice, but fastboot in my PC doesn't recognize the parameter (all I get is fastboot help page).
Regards.
EDIT: reinstalled treble v3.1 via OST and it fixed the download mode issue.
thanks!

Maybe use other fastboot.
Sometimes you must enter:
Code:
fastboot --set-active=_a reboot
("_a" instead of "a")
BTW. My Aquos sometimes stuck in download mode after installing AICP.
I fixed this by entering:
Code:
adb shell
bootctl mark-boot-successful
Hello, i have the same exact problem. I tried to use adb program to fix this problem, but my laptop couldn't recognize my device. Any other solutions would be helpful. Thanks for your attention! (I'm a beginner in technology, so please forgive me)
