I got the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus because I was intrigued about the design and all the latest tech integrated onto the phone... Fine, and the edges. Biggest disappointment so far is that Samsung decided to use their own camera sensor in the front camera. Pictures from the Rear camera Sony sensor compared to the front camera blows them away in clarity and sharpness . I had a LG G3 with 2.1MP front camera Sony sensor and it blows this 5MP Samsung sensor away. I feel it's a software issue where the camera's autofocus doesn't focus the subject properly. The background is always in focus but not the person in the foreground. I've emailed Samsung but hearing about their track record on OTA updates I'm not holding my breath.
Anybody working on fixing this? It turns out that the Galaxy S7 has the same problem as my cousin has the Edge variant and her selfies are just as blurry or out of focus as mine. I figured as a conglomerate as big as Samsung would stick with what works and not try to push their bellow standards software on their popular products.
Thanks.
Hi. I have just bought the s10+, after the s7. To my surprise, Gcam ports on s10 are much worse than on the s7 (portrait mode for front cam not working, etc).
Which port is best in general right now ? That supports all 3 rear lens on s10+ and portrait mode on front and rear camera ? Thank you
+1 ??
Hello i want to convert my Mi Note 10 lite to a excellent camera cellphone because I need to take photos that capture the lighting and the details of the products that I am going to sell very well, the videos do not shake and I have autofocus when I shoot, sometimes I move the product away and it is blurred because it does not focus on the product.
Which room and wich gcam with config?
I will be eternally grateful if anyone helps me with this
When I am in the selfie camera and i open the gallery preview on the bottom left or close the camera app i hear this click sound coming from the front facing selfie camera. Also when i look super closely after switching or closing the app, i can see the selfie camera move backwards kinda.
Im aware of the rear cameras having OIS so it moves around and makes some sound but this seems to be coming from the front facing camera. I never switched to the back cameras so they never activated.
Can you guys with the 23 ultra test this and see if you have it too, im not sure if its normal behavior.

The Front Facing Camera have auto focus so there is a lens that moves forward and backward , and may be thy added OIS secretly like apple did with IP14PM

Of course the camera has OIS... It's a flagship. It would be basically criminal for it NOT to have optical image stabilization. Also, the iPhone Pro Max series has had OIS since at least the 12 Pro Max (in fact Apple claimed it had dual optical image stabilization, meaning the telephoto had it as well). Not having OIS means blurry images in anything less than the utmost stable of hands when taking a photo and it's why I hated my OnePlus 9 and wished I bought the 9 Pro even though I didn't want the curved screen. Were you thinking of some other feature?
