So I started a thread in the original galaxy note 3 thread and thought I would link here since it pertains to some Sprint users. This is how to get your LTE working if you bought an international phone for a USA carrier like I did (n900p) for Sprint which really calls by default a Japan radio baseband. Here is how you can fix LTE issues related to this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3175642

They are not the same phone. Do another search for each and compare the specs.

No, if you look up the T-Mobile Vibrant, that is the Galaxy S phone that T-Mobile first received. The Galaxy S 4G, is an updated version, with a front facing camera, and 4G capabilities. There is not much else different.
This is nothing related to the Galaxy S 2, and this phone hasn't been announced on any US carriers yet.

i read in the article above that it seems that both att and sprint will have a similar lte network
any hopes of me just popping a sprint sim to my att note for some truly unlimited data sweetness?

Sprint will have sim cards for LTE. Still, this isn't likely. Even if it did work, a you would have is data. Your note cannot use Sprint's voice network.

Samsung SCH-i889 Galaxy Note
FYI; The recently released Chinese version [Samsung SCH-i889 Galaxy Note] is CDMA, band compatible with Sprint/Verizon, as well as GSM.

Neither the i717 or N7000 models are CDMA band capable.
Note; Even if for some hypothetical reason they were LTE compatible and Sprint had a SIM, you would never get Voice/text.
hello ,,,
i bought galaxy s3 internationl version two days ago
but i am still looking for unlimited data plans
i heard that the i9300 is not working with verizon , and if i choose T-MOBILE i will get only 2G
i also heard about SIMBLE MOBILE great offers
so what is the best carrier and best unlimited plans should i choose ?!!
i am asking this because some carriers not working with my phone .
this is my first post , thanks alot :good:
I started with AT&T here in Phoenix. I have in the last month gone to T-Mobile for the price. Where I didn't roam before I do now. As Leo Leporte "The Tech Guy" says get the carrier that works best for you.
You might pay more for data but if it does work when you want it it doesn't do you any good. There is a post in this category that talks sbout get AT&T using none smart phone plan. Also most 4G that AT&T won't work on I9300. Read this site carefully for the right model of your phone. Good luck!

The best carrier in my opinion for the i9300 is t-mobile and while you won't get 4G in the LTE sense you'll get T-mo's faux-G which is HSDPA

Questions go in the QA, reported
Im new to XDA but not to my android phones. I recently traded a friend my AT&T Galaxy s3 for their Verizon Note 2. Knowing it can be used on ATT , I thought it was a great trade. Since, I've unlocked and rooted my phone and tried many different roms for my i605 and every rom seems to have a similar issue. It adds a plus + or +1 on all incoming calls and text. It's a real nusance and I realize its because it thinks im using it internationally. I have it in GSM mode. Ive also tried the prefixer app and it only partially fixed the issue. I have tried the moon rom v5 and I think it had the fix but the rom constantly crashed and was unusable. That rom was ported from the International version of the Note 2. My question is, what rom has that fix, can I use an AT&T or an international note 2 rom or any clue on how the remove the international prefix from the phone? I love the phone but I can't afford to replace it right now. I hope this isn't a redundant post but im sure im not the only one with this question.
Im actually on Straight Talk (AT&T) if that matters.

I recently acquired a sprint note 3 but I reside on the tmobile network. I have basic experience with this stuff and have the android toolkit that I downloaded from here. So here is my question....if I tell the toolkit that my sprint note 3 is actually a tmobile note 3 it will then proceed to download and install all of the necessary files to flash it. WILL IT WORK or brick my phone. thanks in advance for your time and input. Lance
i havnt tried do something like this, but is totally not possible. sprint has totally different machinism in terms of security.
