hey,
Im searching for an 10" android tablet for use in a car as a onboard computer.
It should have an extra Power plugin so that i can load the battery while using usb devices such as a controller etc.
Also i need GPS and bluetooth and an sdcard slot and it should be easy to root it, because im not that big pro.
I live in germany and want to waist like 300€ for it.
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks for all the great info guys.
I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer.
I had my Galaxy Tab stolen along with my Macbook Air and need to replace.
This time I would like to get a fully spec'd Mac Mini and get the latest and greatest Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 or 12.1.
Anyone know how to get Samsung tablet to be used as a monitor for Mac Mini? I want to work off Tablet while connected to Mac Mini for
my video and audio work and then use the tablet later for web and other android stuff.
I would prefer a wired connection since Mac Mini has all kinds of ports that are fast.
Anyone know of a work around for this kind of setup?
I need to have both because of the heavy work I do in video and audio on Mac and the the heavy
research I do online with tablet. The pen would be a great help in both systems. I've seen on youtube that
tablets touch screen can be used on Macbooks.
Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan
Ever get any guidance?
Hey Dan --
I'm considering something similar for similar reasons (video/audio editing & writing/research) .... did you ever get any advice for this set up or give it a try? Curious how it worked out ... any and all appreciated.

I am a newbie and I am looking for some sort of way to get my Amazon Instant Video to work with my non Smart TV. I was considering purchasing one of the Android TV sticks and read how you could put XBMC on them and install Amazon Instant Video. My question is can this be done and if so what is the best stick to get for this?
I am unfamiliar with TV sticks so any help would be much appreciated. Not looking to break the bank but would love for something that worked and was able to stream without sync issues/lag.
Curious to know if you can control an Android tablet or Android phone with one or the other like you would with a phone to the computer? I have a samsung galaxy s4 and a Samsung 12.2 inch pro tablet. Let's say I'm 500 miles away from my tablet while away on a business trip, is it possible to fully control the tablet including playing games on the tablet through my phone or checking on other things through the tablet that is on my home WiFi? Seems hard to find a solution to this one, been searching for days.
Thanks guys
Hello there!
I'm into a little project and maybe somebody can help. First of all: if this thread is in a wrong place, forgive me.
So, the idea:
Connect my Galaxy Mega (I9200) into a smart tv (Sony Bravia) and use Kodi (ex-XBMC).
This part is done. I got a MHL cable, who connect into HDMI and one USB port to give energy power to my smart, and so keep my baterry always full.
And it's working beautifuly, in full 1080.
So.. This is the hard part:
I have one external harddisk (1TB M3) that I REALLY wanna connect on my samsung too. Yes, I know, it's only one USB port on my Galaxy, and that's the deal.
I wanna do that because I wanna my galaxy like a server too. So I'm gonna download my video using the Android into the HD and show it on my TV.
Any ideas?
I really don't wanna have my PC always on with HD connected and sharing.
IF ANYONE have ideas to share my HD from the TV (SONY) or from the Home Theater (Samsung) it's could be amazing too.
Thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks lol
