Greetings! I was curious if it was possible to upgrade an LG Intuition VS950 running Android 4.1 to Android 5.0 ? Or possibly 4.4? I don't believe it will do an over the air upgrade.
Thanks guys and gals for all your help!

Curious if you found an answer. Currently looking at purchasing one of these VS950 to replace a Moto Droid Maxx with a broken screen. But the deal breaker is if the VS950 could be upgraded to 5.0. I've came across several websites that claim to have an upgrade to 5.0 via android ROM Manager app, but at the official ROM Manager site nothing shows for the VS950.
need this answered too
I am also looking for an answer to this - I had this as a phone and after getting a new phone I want to use this is a small tablet......but want to upgrade beyond the basic Android 4.0 - to at least 4.3 - How do I do that now that it is no longer connected to anything but wifi?

Is there, based on the limited specs, at all a possibility of running JellyBean on this cell phone watch? I was thinking of purchasing it but id like to hack it and have it running JB or at the very least ICS. What do the Android experts think? Yey or neigh?
I was looking at the video when some things are not same as on Android 4.2.2 or even leaked Android 4.3...
For instance:
Carrier branding on top left, Motorola logo on the right side of it and for the end - camera interface:
All this can be possible for new android version IF this is stock Android. Considering it is from Motorola that is Google company now... it is quite possible.
Any thoughts?
Oh, and yes, in video it says it will come in August.
Just read this http://www.phonedog.com/2013/08/18/...ing-to-update-u-s-models-by-end-of-september/
"What about the U.S. carrier-branded versions, you ask? Mackenzie has confirmed that they'll be bumped up to Android 4.3, too. That's not exactly a shock considering that the One is HTC's flagship smartphone, but it's still good to get word straight from the company itself. As for when all of these Android 4.3 updates will begin rolling out, Mackenzie says that HTC is aiming to have all U.S. SKUs of the One updated by the end of September."
4.3
I'm already on 4.3 and can say that the battery life is really good way better than 4.1.2 I'm on the google edition rom from android revolution and am loving the aosp lockscreen. The only thing I miss form sense is the camera and gallery app.
I've been using the iPhone since the 3G and am ready for something new. I've been looking at the HTC One and Samsung GS4. During my reviews of the HTC One, I read that HTC was in a financial meltdown. If this is indeed true, how would this affect the support/future updates for the HTC One?
I'm not familiar with Android yet and whether one can just put the latest custom ROM onto the device and have the latest version of Android or if the manufacturer plays any key role in these updates. Please advise. Thanks.
THESE ARE RUMORS I really didn't think this would happen but it is however a crucial step in order to keep their market share and (ultimatively) improve it. Time will tell.
I think we, LG G2 owners, are guaranteed an Android 5.0 update!
