Uh hi,
Ever since I installed the ROM it has been stuck on a bootloop. I went on a vacation and after that I tried it again and it installed successfully I noticed that I wasn't able to download the gapps so I downloaded the ones provided by another user and it couldn't start ever since. My recovery kicks me out after 5 seconds and I'm not able to install it. This whole situation has been a nightmare since day one. If only I still had my Optimus One...anyway can someone help me?
Everything is nice, but i have 2 problems:
1. Gapps download link is missing.
2. I can't connect to my wifi (when i type password, it says conecting... and then nothing happens) i have Mac adress authorization, but i don't think rom could change mac of my phone

cannot turn wifi on
Hi, I installed this rom. At first there was no problem. But after few hours I couldnt turn on the wifi.
I factory reset the phone, same thing happened. at first I can use wife, but after some time past I couldnt turn on the wifi.
Today I installed Blur Line (CM 11) rom and same problem occured again.
what can I do? What is the problem? what am I doing wrong?

unable to get diwnload status
Hi,
Like to say good job, but unfortunately it doesnt work for me.
The app finds an update and everything, but once I click on download it tries for a while then it says 'unable to get download status' my link is a direct link.
any suggestions?

some progress
I managed to get UT to build for d802. The recovery booted fine and I could use ADB in it. However, as I tried to push the ubuntu rootfs I almost bricked my phone. I vad to find a Windows computer and use LG's phone utility to unbrick it.
I am not completely sure as to what sent wrong since when the rootfs tarball was extracted the command failed silently. I do not really know where to start the troubleshooting and are cyrrently realy swamped with work.
IF anyone wants to try it for themselves PM me, I dö not want to post imgs that can cause some serious bricking.

Super user installer never runs in download mode and just stays at 0%. Phone also isn't letting me downgrade back to a earlier build using lg flashtool. This is seriously driving me crazy. Can somebody please help me out here.

Not sure if youve tried this or not yet but I just rooted, unrooted, and rerooted 2 weeks ago with it. Worked like a charm for me.

Illusion ROM SGS2 i777 - experience and problems.
I know this ROM isn't supported anymore for the SGS2 i777 but I just installed it a few days ago while I try to find another ROM that is still supported. So far it is really good. The only problems I have found is the CWM recovery won't work because of a bug in the kernel. I am going to try to flash the Illusion ROM and then the AKJ 4.9 Kernel. Another problem I have is I cannot connect my phone to my pc via Kies. It will let me use windows explorer to open the phone memory but kies wont recognize the phone so I can't sync contacts and messages, etc. The only other problem I have is that certain apps will get a big black square covering most of the screen. If I touch the screen or move menus around it will disappear slightly but then the black square will come back. I figured this must be a problem with the ads, or some kind of gpu problem. It only does it with certain apps, nothing else.
