I was having a great day yesterday, until my phone fell off the kitchen counter and landed on it's back.
Thank god the screen is perfectly okay, however the back is smashed completely.
I obviously want to get it repaired, but DIY, since there is no Sony Service Center in Pakistan.
I know how to do it myself (had repaired the class on my Xperia Z).
So I know, however I'm confused.
Does the back cover (of the Z2) have an NFC chip on the battery cover, or is it in the battery?
I was thinking of ordering THIS off Ebay, any opinions? Is this okay, or is there supposed to be a different one with an NFC thing on the back?
Any replies will be greatly appreciated.
i took my back of today to change the battery and yes it looks like there is a NFC chip on the back

All I'm able to tell is that it's a Samsung device, and it may be GSM because of the microSIM slot I see on the back. The back had no battery, no cover, no SIM, the screen is clearly decimated, two capacitive buttons missing (it takes talent to break capacitive buttons) and most buttons are pretty much loose.
I may spend a little money to get this thing fixed up, assuming it even turns on. I planned on getting a battery to test out first, then if it worked, fixing up the phone and keeping it or selling it. Not anytime soon, since I just bought a Nexus 4 while already low on leisure money, but it would be nice.
From the picture you provided and the detailed description it appears to be a Samsung Epic 4g.
If your interested in some replacement parts for the device I would recommend taking a look at these parts www.globaldirectparts.com/Samsung-Epic-4G-Replacement-Repair-Parts-s/6425.htm.

Ok so i was buying a case for my phone and this case wouldn't fit so the lady went into the storage and brought a new GS3 and it gets fitted in. I was surprised because i bought mine in Switzerland and I went to phonearena in France to buy the cover. I never knew there were different sizes. Is there anything else different than just the size? Mine came in white and it was actually bigger than that SG3.

To my knowledge there is only 1 size for the I9300/I9300T whereas there are other SG3 phones like the SG3 Mini (smaller), Glaaxy Grand and so on.
for instance an overview in the attached picture.

I don't have one but have looked at it many times on ebay.
Makes me wonder if the back panel is gonna pop off if you drop the device and then the phone goes flying and the glass cracks in to thousand pieces?? ...the back panel is being put in place by some kind of snap on feature. I would Like to see screw assembly instead.

I have one that says Yoo Don on the packaging but it looks the same. I put it on and took it right back off because it is impossible to open charging flap with fingernail, might be able to with a knife tip or something. The back does indeed snap into place and seems pretty secure but wouldn't expect it to add any protection if phone was dropped.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I will let you know what I think when mine comes in a couple of weeks.

I sent you a PM.
I tried softly to pull the sim card cover flap out the phone. Unluckily, the flap outer surface get separated from other parts. And I see the adhesive between is not much sticky. [

It seems there is no one encountering the same problem as me.
Well I didn't even know that this could possibly happen. Man you're unlucky :|

Hi!
My girlfriend bought a Honor 9 last Friday. So far it's an awesome phone and she likes it very much.
However, today we noticed that the paint on the home button is peeling / wearing off.
Is this common or should we return it?
Here's a picture of it:

I guess you should return it. Less than a week, this should not happen.
Unless that is the clear film that originally came on your device when you unboxed it. I would send it back for a replacement unit.
