This ROM is built by the Chinese developer @nian0114(xda name:jing95916).
Please take note that although this ROM is based on CM/Sammy, you will get a MIUI experience instead of an AOSP one.

I tried this Rom the other day. Things ran smooth. Gapps worked but the keyboard was still in Chinese. The other cosmetic issue was the notification drawer tiles were not the right aspect ratio., Some of them got cut off.

Try to instal open gapps and select google keyboard is working well.Change the dpi setings to 280 than change back whatever you whant it will fix the notification drawer isus.
After flash gapps, the play store keep on crush. How to fix this?
wipe caches,
if you installed this rom, then some gapps.
then found the "posted / linked" gapps.
and flashed that over the top.
you need to re flash teh rom then the correct gapps
There are many gapps around, possible recommend a suitable / correct one?

best miui in terms of beauty and functionality. battery life interestingly better than LP and even DN4 on my at&t note 2. only concern is getting occasional freezes after playing with settings or sometimes entering messaging app. I know it will get better in the coming days. GREAT JOB!!!!!

1) Camera: camera has FS's
Tried changing camera to CM, Meizu, AOSP, MIUI but still no result.
2) Music: Sometimes when I lock the screen when listing to songs the song keeps on pausing, there was a fix to this relating to SD Card not sure which one to use can you please update me with a Zip file to flash.
3) Equalizer: I could download a equalizer from the store, but out of curiosity just wanted to know if there are equalizer in MIUI music app since we use Boeffla?
4) Google Contacts Sync: I did not flash any zip's for google apps instead used "Google Installer" from MIUI store and got all the gapps downloaded except Contacts aren't sycing !!
5) Shop on lock screen: if we swipe left to right on lock screen it opens up a shop in chinese language, Do you know if we can change it to something else? like music or calc?:crying:
6) Analog Clock: Can we have a analog Clock on Lock Screen ?
7) S-Pen integration: Do we have any apps or flash zips for S-PEN's ??

The battery life was great. Although it said after about 10 hrs of use that the android system used up most of the battery, almost about 55%
Is that normal? Had this problem also on CM10
Everything is great, only issue is gaming.
Games like RoboCop, Eternity Warriors 2, close down. Unable to play.

Great Rom, installed and using Now flawlessly (Dalvik)! I plan to switch to ART soon to test there also...
I'll continue testing till tomorrow (seems that some localized string inside the system are in some foreign russian-like language, but it's only few of them (ex. User Account info in the Default Tiles)), then i'll report back.
The NFC is now displayed in the Settings but it's always on and cannot turn it off from there (maybe deleting the apk from system in the meantime can help preventing battery drain?).

I write this here because i don't know if is something related to the GApps i flashed or is ROM related... (GApps flashed : 1-16_GApps_Standard_4.4.2_signed.zip from ART GApps Compatible thread)
In camcorder, the phone will not take videos. You must change the video resolution (inside the camera app settings) to 720p (setted at 1080p) to make the video recording work. Related to camcorder, seems that the hardware button is not linked to the camera app, so the phone will vibrate but will not open any camera app.

No thats what i thought as well but if you flash to small OTA file over the latest update you get a tweak box in your settings ..screen off animations and stuff like that. pretty neat :good:

But I'm not sure that it's exactly the same rom. Anyway, on this site, they update the rom very often (every time there is a new version) and all the rom is translated in french.

The MIUI Rom that you can find on Xiaomi.eu forum (miuiandroid.com) comes with Multi Language pack and is flashable through TWRP, not just CWM. It also won't replace the recovery you currently use. Makes it more interesting to use I think...

I've already tested the miuifrance and the xiaomi.eu version, both are french but havent the LTE activated by default...
You can activate 4G LTE!!!

You can activate 4G LTE follow this step
1- Dial *#*#4636#*#*
2- Select phone informations
3- Scroll down when you see preferred network select TD-scdma, gsm/wcdma and LTE
But you must to do again after each time you restart your phone.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS
-To enable developer options, go to setting>About Phone and tap the build number 7 times.
- Root is now disabled by default. To enable it go to Settings>Developer Options>Root access and set to Apps only or Apps and ADB.
-PLEASE WAIT FOR THE FIRST BOOT. THE BOOT ANIMATIONS FREEZES DURING THE FIRST BOOT. THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM AND HAPPENS ONLY DURING THE FIRST BOOT.

i can record video with camera but stock videoplayer show me black screen instead of VLC that read it fine.
Does at least one video play? Or is this a problems for all videos? BTW will try to update in a few days.

As a heads up to others flashing for the first time. Bootanimation froze for me....Don't panic all is well and booted perfectly.
I have been running this Rom for over 12 hours now. Only (minor) problem is the settings have stopped pop up on boot. Other than that no problem at all, no random reboots, no freezes. It's very smooth and fast and I have experienced no lag. I guess it's time to make it official
Would like to see heads up notifications implemented (or have I missed them somewhere?)

Annoying little bug that I am experiencing. Cannot follow a link and open another app while another is open.
Example: can't open play store by clicking on a link from G+ have to close G+ first. Can anyone else confirm this?
Really nice rom, many options and quite stable for me, only bootanimation is broken but rom does his work perfectly and without warm my phone
I forgot to mention: I am also experience settings fc always on reboot ( small bug, app works good after); RAM management is really good, i've 16 apps open and all is smooth
Well, I've tried every LP ROM (except SOKP) that is published here in xda-dev, and all of them had real lag problems, if not immediately then within a whole day after the flashing - to the state where the ROM is unusable for me (can't even answer incoming calls) without rebooting. Of course I am not blaming anyone, all the devs here did a wonderful job getting LP to our old phone model, but I do not want to experiment any more with such ROMs. Is this one different in this sense? Is it CM-based?

Well, this is cm based, i suppose this from theme manager and superuser, of course i run it from almost one day and no problems...phone charges normally, apps install fine, first rom that not warm my leg when i have phone inside the pocket ... Really impressive...i don't judge the battery now but i still testing with 3g..i'll stick on this rom for a while :good:

Been using this rom on my J700H its very stable no issues good performance/battery at all. But i wanna suggest some features for the next verison
-Add advance reboot options
-Option in aroma installer to install some Google/Samsung Apps (Like Samsung Music Google Photos , etc)
But overall this ROM is great for daliy use

Internet is expensive where I live.
FM radio works on 7.0 roms, guess I'll just stick with SyneXOS ?

I appreciate your input, but first, I'd like to let you know a few things.
The project is based LOS, with few changes. You say that you have more bugs, it shows how you do not understand anything at all.
The second thing that is very important, and maybe you still do not know ... but I'll tell you: DOWNLOAD IS NOT MANDATORY!

- Since its based on LOS, I can't expect but any Pixel goodies added in the mix? Like launcher, dialer, contacts, theme, fonts, Lockscreen?
- Any Q-Styles added? Text Lock clock, battery icon, battery stats in QS panel like "upto 3am" texts.
- Any specific Mod/settings you added other than derived from sources?

hi, is there a way to have the network traffic counter moved to the right? for me its under the notch and the only statusbar items i allow tonshow are wlan, mobile data and battery. in the screenshot u cant see that the number is under the notch, i can only see the arrows. and wheres the clock or how can i enable clock in statusbar?

A little suggestion : you and all other devs, please stop including gapps in your roms ok ? I preffer microG or BitGapps minimal tweaked gapps installed. Also hate google phone app and messages by google. Be original ! I would really like to see a aosp rom with OOS ported dialer.

I think this guy has a point, we've come to have 5 to 10 different ROMS which only difference is the name, I'm not being rude nor ungrateful for devs work, all ROMs should have it aggregate value, that would make them different from each other, also some of us left stock ROMS due to OEM crappie apps and Google stuff, so it should be optional to flash or not gapps, that's our choice to make.
Don't come with "then you do your development and crazy sh1t" , just take it as an advice and feedback
