Yup, you're right, East or West CM is best, moat reliable and Stable ROM,

CyanogenMod? Woow! How are noobs!
Nope, CyanogenMod will never be the more stable ROM in Moto E. You are very noobs. I guess you never tested another Custom ROM except the CM, LOL;
5.1 Optimized is the most stable. I tested over 15 Custom Roms and CyanogenMod is definitely not the most stable.

Lol, never compare custom ROMs with Stock ROM, that 5.1 Optimized you saying is STOCK ROM with bloatware removed and some changes, STOCK ROM developed straight from motorola, being soak testing almost 7 months, moto released final 5.1, moto pays Dev team to optimize the ROM for the phone. That ROM fully optimized for the phone, but on Custom world we don't pay for devs, they work for free, ROM is not fully optimized for phone, but we can taste new features and version of Android earlier then others.

I've read that AOSP is pretty good. It's fast. Or Cyanogenmod. The bad thing is that this phone isn't really popular, so development is slow. You could also flash 5.1 firmware.
AOSP 5.1..1 Works well
AOSP 5.1.1 + Full Gapps Works Well in my Moton E....

What about headphones? Are they working?
Hi, Lox2013. The best rom for me, is AOSP, its very stable and lite, with the squid kernel and the last adreno drivers. I have a surnia xt1527. try it.
If you love advance customization on your phone I recommend RR and PAC-ROM, if you want simple customization try CM12, you can also try CANDY5 which is a new ROM for our surnia, try all of them and see which stands the most
you should fix your topic title..
and i vote stock rom.
every rom i see has things i don't like about them.

again I have the same question, are headphones working?
sorry iks8. Yes, working for me.
Trust me I've tried almost every rom for moto e surnia!
After trying most of the roms, the one with the least bugs was PAC-ROM with the combination of squid2's kernel. CM12.1 is nt bad bt theme engine causes a lot of problems!
I love PAC-Rom. It runs OK with Squid's kernel and PurePerformancesX. As Paul said, you can customize it a lot.

To the best of my knowledge there's no stable Lollipop ROM. All ROMs have their own bugs. Why not try the few Popular ROMs yourself?

Nah, in my device i tried multiple lollipops but they are were laggy. So i got back on the latest cm 11 and things are smooth as silk.
I'm staying off lollipop for now.
I don't care about the super latest features, I rather have a stable and secure system.

Both Temasek and ArchiDroid are very fast and stable. I haven't try out the new versions of RR and Blisspop yet
bhai archidroid karle latest wala set hai !
Hi,
Haxynox is actually pretty fast and thin. Discovered a bug, but cannot post it there. So i'm thinking of kinda spamming this place till i get my count up to 10
But in general, KitKat seems better choice for i9300 era systems. Would be nice, if someone compiled as close to aosp kitkat as possible. CM was close, but now really gets bloated with its additional software. It even has CM account system. Maybe i will test out Omni.
Omni is ok, but no theme support, same like slim kk

Resurrection Remix. It's a CM 13 based Rom, stable and nice. You have other customization options too.
From my personal experience, MM ROMs are a lot better, smooth and stable (so far) than any lollipop Rom I've flashed on this device

Yes..i tried to flash it before The ROM bit nothing... The recovery doesn't istall The ROM..remain on path system unconditionally..
I think cm 13 is best rom ever in custom roms
I suggest Temasek, AICP, or CyanPop for now. Since RR froze development for reasons I don't know, these ROMs should be a good substitute. But when RR comes back, its a recommend to go for it. RR topped the charts while the I9300 was in the world of lollipops

I had Blispop v4.x (LP 5.1) for a month. Twice a day I had to restart the phone because camera driver (or whatever) was crashing and apps could not connect to camera.
Is the camera driver stable on CM 13 or Resurrection Remix?
I was using A Better Camera and Camera MX.
I suggest to stay on lollipop, cause MM cm-13 still have a lot of bugs. If you use ur phone for daily usage just wait for stable release of MM.

not right.. for me marshmallow rom is better than lollipop ROM..try only to see the instructions and do a flash clean.
is 3 weeks thai i use Cyanogenmod13 and now i'm on latest build 17012016..and all works fine without problem.. for camera i don't have any issue.. i use snap camera but i think also stock camera isn't buggy
Lollipop is not ideal for exynos versions of S3. Thats why CM skipped it. Not to say you wont find other custom roms where L does fine as well as unofficial CM12 versions. With free time on the weekend, I decided to test latest CM 13 nightlies. This on the assumption its just to familiarize myself with it then flash back to my reference CM11 backup. Quite surprised how solid CM13 is. May hang on to it for a while as I've not yet seen any reason to flash back yet.
I recommend you resurrection remix rom.

Right time to flash Nought 7.X.X for Onyx devices..?

Is this the right time to move to latest Nought ROMs i.e, Android 7.X.X ROMs with OnePlus X from official cm 13 for onyx which runs quite smooth and almost perfect ???

It depends mate..every nougat ROM has some features and customization and some negative points too.so just consider other users post and bugs on that respective thread as a review and flash if you want to do it.
Hi brother, I recommend you to stick to the Marshmallow ROM. After all the bugs are gone (especially the camera bug) you go on to the nougat builds. And the time may come soon.

Thank you for updating me. Yes the camera bugs are gone. But was not a stable release yet. The status is still in TESTING. We can wait till it goes beta or nightly.
I would wait till xposed is released for nougat.
Personally, I use nougat as a daily driver (Resurrection Remix) and it runs perfectly!

And what about battery life?
Photo quality?
did you compared it with CM14.1 Aschwin's?
Yes, aschwin's cm14.1 works very well except some corner cases.
Generally the ROM is smooth and stable,
but if you want perfect experience, you'd better to wait an official nightly/stable CM14.1
what's about xperince 7.1.1 new build it is official too
I've been using xperience nougat ROM 11/26 build as my daily. So far it's been more stable for me than resurrection remix MM which I was using previously. (random reboots and FC from tons of apps)
Will probably try RR again once there is a stable official N version (if not already available) because it has more customization options. But for now, xperience is great for me.
I would go with Tesla N

Need Stable Updated ROM [MM/N]

Does anyone have nougat and marshmallow ROM that is recently updated or is rock solid stable
Need to test some old mods and SOT differences.
May be dual boot compatible.
Don't want to backup current stuff
I don't find Oreo roms very reliable, but Nougat roms are pretty good.
This is my favourite: ViperOS
Resurrection Remix 5.8.5, Android 7.1.2. Been using this build since 8 months. More stable than a horse's house. See what I did there ?
Global beta 8.7.26
http://bigota.d.miui.com/8.7.26/miui_HMNote3ProGlobal_8.7.26_c3f457ccde_6.0.zip
Try mokee, they build everyday but I prefer to choose release than nightly.

LineageOS 13. It's stable, updated on a monthly basis to include the latest security patches, the dev is always ready to help and implement useful features. Highly recommended.

Hi, I just migrated to ViperOS N. Which build will you suggest?
Viper-kenzo-20180711-Coral-v3.1.1-amog787_neonbilli-kernel.zip the most stable one?
Use lineage os 7.1.2 customized by umang it's really gud rom even I'm using it in my 2gb Variant and it provides good amount of performance and battery too !!
