Hey Guys,
I would like to install the new android tv OS or rom onto my MK809 HDMI dongle. I would like to know:
1) Is there an android tv ROM or OS already developed that I can just upgrade to.
2) If there is a rom or OS how do i get it installed onto the MK809 dongle. Will it require the original SDK to upgrade to the new OS?

you cant install android on an sdcard:laugh: Its not a portable os like ubuntu.
Android can only be installed on your phone, and only if it is made for your specific phone. For example, if I find a custom android os for the nexus 7, I cant install it on my nook hd. The only android devices that can boot from an sdcard are the note 2, and nook tablets(only the android ones), and for that you must be rooted

Amkette EvoTv 2 is an Android smart box for tv. It is just a software of tablet running on the box so it doesn't implement the features of Android tv. Can you please develop a room for the box? Good thing is that it is pre rooted. But no custom recovery. Help me with that too.
HI iam new and i want to create own android 8.0 or 7.0 rom for my android tv stick i previously falshed roms to my tablet(succesful) dads phone(succesful but not supported dual sim) dads tablet(unsucessfule deleted nand and stuck at TWRP) but thats been only flashing and i will be fairly ok if some Roms with above versions of android exists but they are not so i have some question which tutorial should i follow?,How can i tell the android that the device is in landscape mode?,Which apps should i change so it will fit with the style(already know TV laucher and TV Gapps)?And will it natively support 4 directional input like dpad for navigating trought it?

can I install a clean verision on that TV (TCL L49C2L)?
(i have a sony TV which have a better OS so maybe i can install that OP?)
