Hi!
This module turns that white Twitter app into a more black Twitter. This is an old project, i don't touch the code from months, so you can expect some problems. Write them here.
You can find comparison before-after attached here.

Changelog:
22/08/2015
V1.1
- Bottom bar is now transparent
- Some changes to the code
- There are still problems with Android 4.x
19/08/2015
V1.0
- Initial release
Hi there!
Nice module, I like it and it goes in sync with my phone, in which I try to make all black-ish.
Plus, it helps a lot with AMOLED screens. But I'm attaching some screenshots where the module fails or the font color is also black (= can't read a ****).
In the "menu" section, the text becomes visible on touch
Anyway, as I said it's pretty nice and I plan to keep it.

Module version: 1.0
I see. I'll look at this
Edit: I've no problem here.
What version of xposed do you have?
Edit 2: It seems to be a problem with Android 4.4. I will look into that...

I have the newest Android 4.4 xposed framework version also and the fonts are bit hard to read aside from half the parts are still white.

Yes, I've a new build that makes the bottom bar transparent, but it seems that this is not working on 4.4. I'm searching for a solution.

I haven't a solution for that, yet. I really don't understand why this is not working on android 4.4. For now, this is working only on lollipop so if you are on kitkat i suggest you to not install this module. This is not a solution, but i don't know why this isn't working, it is a very simple code... I've also compiled for 4.4, using the old xposed api, without success, so i think that the problem is Twitter. But i don't understand how...

My Xposed version is 2.7 experimental 1.
One of the reasons that I resist to move to LP is the Xposed compatibility, even though is partially fixed.
Is there any kind of log you need from us? Or can we help in some way?
Cheers!

I've not a solution yet, but I've discovered some things. For example, layers are used in different ways on 4.4 and 5.x. So if I set a black background, on lollipop it covers the right position indicator (for example) but on kitkat it doesn't. Probably this is connected to the others problems, but i need some time to find out a solution...

I pushed a new (Beta) version on Xposed repo. There are some changes to the code, and it makes now the bottom bar transparent (on Lollipop and Kitkat: but there are still problems with 4.x version of Android).
Hey Roberto, loving the mod, but it's a little hard to use the settings menu. As you can see, the area that tells you the current value if the setting is using black text so it doesn't show up.
Any way you can change that text to a grey colour? Other than that everything is spot on.

A lot of things are possible, in the universe. A Google+ black version is obviously possible, but probably not from me [emoji14] I don't use Google+, so I've no interest in this. All my module are modules done for myself and then publish for all.

Hey! Love this mod man... Can't wait for the full version.
Just a few pics of this that need some work... No rush, it'll be well worth the wait! ??
Text colours seems to be the most common issue... The last pic is the most annoying though... Can't read what I'm typing for a quoted tweet...
Thanks for all your hard work!
Yep, thanks. I know, but is seems that Twitter has included that colors on styles, and xposed can't hook that. I will try in the next few weeks

Hi,
Me and some of my friends bought the ceros revolution, a tablet, on chinavision. Is there anyway to get root permissions?
Here the technical aspects: http://e-ceros.com/ceros-revolution-tablet-white-16gb/
Our problem is the setting of the CPU, that even if is a 1.6 quad core it stays mainly at 312-816 mhz. In a day it uses the 1.6 frequenze only for 30 seconds more or less.
Thank you

Any luck with finding ways to root this device? Just got one myself and it seems good but it would be nice to get it rooted. Can't really find anything on Google when it comes to rooting this one.

Thats great news! Have just browsed it yet but is it the same device or close enough to make it work with the CERO's? Did you try? Any benefits with it rooted? Love my rooted sgs2 with tons of custom ROMs. Would be nice to upgrade the CERO's to 4.3 or 4.4. Thanks mate!

The tablet with root is a little better if you set higher frequencies for the CPU, but there isn't any rom for it, you can use only the stock rom.

No, I can't help you. Did you solve your problem?
Had to re-install fw but now is ok. Xposed works and is quite useful for some functions like back to kill , xthemes and stuff. My mistake was trying to much at the same time i guess. Now just reroot and business as usual.

Can you get into recovery? Reset device to turn it off. Hold power+back until you are in recovery. There you can try factory reset. I sent you pm how to get official fw with instructions. Thanks granny1

Be aware
Bought two of the Ceros Revolution tablets. One works great the other is terrible with lag running the same application. Appears the processor is running significantly slower than it should. I run AnTutu and the bad one runs at 1/3 the speed of the good one. They obviously have a glitch in their rom build that effects some units and not others. Tried to contact Chinavision but get absolutely no replies from them. So unless I can find some sort of software solution to this problem I then just may use it for target practice.

change is not easy, you have to decompile the apk play store, you can use the apk manager for that, then go into the res folder and looking for pictures that make that bar and lateral compile again.
That is difficult, find that image, because you will find many, it will be a lot of trial and error.
be a very delayed unless you know what you do process, I give sincere advice, do not mess with that, because a single error will cause the playstore not work.
but if you really want it, find a recognized themer and ask him to please do that for you.
is the best thing you can do, or risking yourself

That is not correct. Those resources are in framework-res.apk, not in the Play Store apk. You have that problem because the Honami framework that you flashed (or was included in the ROM) overlays all the apps, causing what you see in the screenshot

Ok. read in the cm10.1 thread which is the mos stable-ish kernel (you will get a dat, possibly 02-22-2014) and then go to the kernel development thread , search for a dropbox folder link and download the specified kernel from that folder. flash it and test
Ok ty for help, i try and i let you know

If you can't fix it via installing new kernel. I suggest you try downloading Greenify fron Google Play Store - excellent app that make unwanted task on your phone go to deep sleep. Just make sure you dont use it on important apps you want notifications from. (ak. Facebook, Whatsapp).

Nice advice, but actually, if it fails, then before Greenify I would install and run betterbatterystats+ for a couple of hours (maybe a day), to see which app is causing it. If its a system app then Greenify free won't help you.

Thnaks man. you can use the donate version to make the same process on system apps. Just make sure you dont force sleep on a crucial app. better battery stats is an excellent app to work with Greenify.

No deep sleep: kernel wakelock "bluesleep" and "msm_serial_hs_dma"
Hi
Just received few days ago the G watch and I am noticing no deep sleep on my nexus 5 with kitkat 4.4.4 stock with root.
the G watch is on 5.0.1 and Android Wear I 1.0.5.1630507
The battery drain of the watch is normal, around 30hrs or more.
The kernel wakelock bluesleep and msm_serial_hs_dma last the same time.
I am running on Dalvik.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks
Woody
I have also this issue but depend on Watchface used. For example, Watchface from "Smartwatch Bureaux" like Axx, Fxx, Vxx with Weather have many battery issue.

I decided to move to Lollipop and now I am with Cataclysm ROM and I am really satisfied.
Absolutely no issue with this wakelock.
I don't know if stock Lollipop would be the same, but I preferred to mount this ROM that is really good.
