GT-N5100 FIrmware Rollback. Bootloader not accepting below 4.4.2 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Seniors and developers.
I have a serious issue and am sure u have been through this before too.
Let me explain what i did and what i want to do with my device. ( GT-N5100 INU )
Around year back or so i installed 4.4.2 KK Poland version on my device ( GT-N5100 ) over 4.2.2 JB Indian version.
by that time everything was fine i was happy and there was no sign of KNOX also, download mode never displayed KNOX on 4.4.2 at that time.
Soon i figured out some apps does not support ROOT on 4.4.2 e.g GAME CIH etc. And battery consumption amazingly bad on 4.4.2.
SO i decided to roll back to original stock 4.2.2.
And the game starts.
I fugured out i cannot rollback to 4.2.2 JB because of 4.4.2 bootloader which is now showing KNOX warranty VOID 0x1.
KNOX warranty void is not issue for me because my device is already 2 year old.
All I WANT IS TO GO BACK TO 4.2.2 WITH ITS ORIGINAL BOOTLOADER.
NOTE: I can roll back to 4.1 JB, beacuse its not having sboot.bin and tz.img files. Everything works fine 4.1 properly installed BUT, ODIN MODE shows SYSTEM STATUS: custom, CURRENT BINARY: custom. Even if am installing Samsung official stock rom.
----------------------------------
Tried many tricks and ways like i removed sboot.bin and tz.img ( doing that device stucked on "SAMSUNG GT-N5100 " logo, not even animation screen. Again i figured out that removing file left bootloader same and system changed.). I reinstalled 4.4.2 KK poland version and systen worked well again. then interchanged bootloader files with 4.2.2 and i stucked again. same reason i guess.
I rooted and disabled KNOX, but still i cannot overwrite 4.4 bootloader with 4.2.
Please forgive if am irritating you guys. But my question is.
Is there any way to over write 4.4 bootloader?
Is there any ways to install 4.2 official indian rom again?
Everything written on device are codes, can we change something so that i accepts 4.2 bootloader.
Again KNOX tripping is not problem for me.
Can i go back to original state when i bought device. EVEN KIES FAILED TO RECOVER. ( IT DETECTS ONLY )
I tried many times , every time odin failed on sboot.img and tz.img. and gives "SW REV. Invalid magic string" on download mode screen.
IF MY BOOTLOADER IS LOCKED, HOW CAN I UNLOCK IT. MY DEVICEIS ROOTED AND KNOX IS DISABLED.
FLASHING VIA SD CARD GIVES "SIGNATURE VERIFICATION FAILED" I TOGGLED THAT USING REVOVERY BUT AFTER THAT IF GIVES INSTALLATION ABORT.
Recovery also shows e: mount.data failed!, etc.
Thanks in advance please help.

[Q] Flash official stock firmware on Galaxy S4 tmobile

I need help from you guys. I have a tmobile galaxy s4, I was rooted with cm11 4.4.2 and I tried to unroot to stock with odin and a firmware, but I fail and got a soft brick the first time. I download different odins and firmwares and finally got it to work, PASS I have stock 4.2.2 m919uvuemk2. but when it restarted I tried to delete wipe cache partition and reboot like it ask me to but it didn't work. Every time I reboot phone it gives me a message before it turns onit says kernel is not seandroid enforcing and set warranty bit kernel. My phone works fine except the wifi, it doesn't turn on. the devise status still say CUSTOM and I can not software update it says your devise your devise has been modify. I checked for root access and there is none. what can I do to fix this problems, should I reroot and use triangle away to delete the BINARY AND KNOX messages and after try to use a 4.3 firmware instead of 4.2.2. I want to have a complete stock phone that I can do OTA updates. Can some one please give the steps and point me in the right direction so I can take care of this problems. Thank You...

Can't find default stock rom, searched everywhere, deleted links, etc.

Before I start, my phone IS rooted (Rooted with KingRoot 4.4.2)
So as I was trying to put my phone's SELinux from Enforcing to Permissive, i've come across editting the build.prop file successfully, setting 'ro.build.selinux' or whatever it was to 1. Then, that wasn't working, I was told deleting Knox (which I've already uninstalled and deleted all of the apps for it), but the files were still left behind, so it was still there. I grabbed Root Explorer and deleted everything of Knox. The next time I rebooted, my phone was stuck on the Verizon logo screen, got past the Samsung screen fine. So my phone is now bricked from deleting the stupid Knox core files and stuff and I can't find the damn recovery tar/md5 file for it anywhere; I used to have it, but since I've upgraded to Windows 10 a few months earlier, I formatted everything due to unneeded storage being tooken up and lost it in the deletion process. So I ask, does anyone have the recovery file that boots the stock, I remember the file I had what it was named - something like "VRUFND7_i605T0LTEVZW4.4.2_HOME.tar.md5" something like that..including those words I doubt it would be named the same way as this, but PLEASE help me. I need my phone for many purposes and it is the only one I have.
I have hosted the files on my website here and you can get them form the forms below
http://goofwear.com/android/index.p...Samsung Galaxy Note II - I605/Stock/Firmware/
Go Here and download either of the Firmware Files and download the pit file (MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT WHAT BOXES TO CHECK AND UNCHEK IN ODIN) http://forums.androidcentral.com/ve...note2-return-100-stock-updated-5-12-13-a.html
Unlock your boot loader

root your phone with ANY other way on XDA besides Kingo Root. Only use Kingo root as a last resort when their is NO root method available for your device.
Also get use the Clockworkmod recovery . I could not get roms to boot or flash property on the TWRP Recovery. I had to Odin back multiple times.

If you were previously on the stock Verizon firmware 4.4.2 ND7, (which I'm assuming you were), then you have a phone with a locked bootloader that has no current method to unlock it. Adam Outler's Back Atcha Verizon and Casual won't work to unlock the bootloader.
You also cannot downgrade the phone to a previous firmware version because of the unlockable bootloader. Regular Custom recoveries such as CWM will not work either because of the locked bootloader. The only custom recovery that currently works on the locked 4.4.2 bootloader is Safestrap, which is a modified version of TWRP.
If you were previously on stock 4.4.2 ND7 before everything got messed up, then you can only restore the phone back to stock 4.4.2. You can find the stock 4.4.2 firmware at Sammobile.com. It costs nothing to download it from Sammobile, but you will have to register which is free.
If you can still boot the phone into Odin mode (i.e. Volume down+home button+power button), then you should hopefully be able to use Odin to restore the phone back to stock 4.4.2 firmware to get it working again.
Recognized XDA Contributor Droidstyle put together a detailed guide on how to restore the phone back to stock firmware. See the guide under section 1b here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34891181
The guide is still accurate for the most part, except you'll need to restore the phone back to the 4.4.2 Stock firmware (assuming that's what firmware version you were on previously), which you'll have to get from Sammobile since it's not available through Droidstyle's guide. Also, if you use the newer version of Odin like version 3.0.9, then you have to load the phone's firmware into the AP slot, (not the PDA slot which is mentioned in Droidstyle's guide.... the PDA slot is what used to be used in ODIN 3.0.7 and older Odin versions).

Flashed stock Lollipop 5.1.1 ROM using ODIN, Device binary & status are CUSTOM? Help!

Flashed stock Lollipop 5.1.1 ROM using ODIN, Device binary & status are CUSTOM? Help!
Hey guys! First time poster!
A few months back, I tried using CF-Auto root in order to gain root access on my phone, but I flashed something incorrectly and I was never able to get root working correctly. I know because of this, I tripped KNOX, and whenever I rebooted, there was a "Set Warranty Bit: Kernel" at the top of the device.
Due to the recent Marshmallow 6.0.1 upgrade, I want to unroot and get stock firmware, so I decided to do some research and go ahead and try to flash the stock G900T 5.1.1 FOJ4 firmware (tar.md5 file), so I can get my ability to update my phone via OTA updates. I looked up my matching firmware (FOJ4) through Android File Host and then unzipped it to my desktop.
I followed a guide and used ODIN 3.10.7 to flash the stock firmware file onto my phone. I also wiped cache/ factory reset before and after flashing the stock image.
Everything went well and I no longer see the "Set Warranty Bit: Kernel" when I boot. The problem I have is that when I go into download mode, the CURRENT BINARY and SYSTEM STATUS are both CUSTOM.
I was under the impression as long as you flash a stock firmware to your device, you will unroot and your device will be official, and then you'll be able to do OTA updates. Maybe its because I have KNOX tripped? Maybe can someone clarify that for me?
My main questions/concerns are:
1.) Is there anyway to make my device status/binary as OFFICIAL, in order to regain OTA updates?
2.) If I want to download the 6.0.1 Marshmallow update, should I just try through KIES or downloading the tar.md5 file to flashing via ODIN like I did with stock?
3.) Will there be any risk of bricking since my device is still "custom", if I go the above route?
4.) As a last ditch effort, should I just try downloading a different stock Lollipop firmware, and try flashing with ODIN again?
5.) What does this sub think of Marshmallow 6.0.1 update? Is it worth it?
Thank you guys in advance! Hope you have an awesome day!
@Root_S5_Please
#2 with Odin will work and is the correct way to go, #3 will not happen as long as you use Odin, you can't untrip Knox but that's OK since it doesn't have any effect on functionality. #4 is unnecessary and won't do anything to help. Someone else will have to answer #5, I Odined the update and immediately went back to CM13

Lollipop to Marshmallow (DRK Issue)

Hi
I live in Canada so my model # SM-G925W8. I recently bought this phone from someone and noticed that they had it rooted. So I put it back to official stock and it was at 5.0.2 Lollipop and I know there is a more up-to-date Lollipop version and even a Marshmallow version but when I went to check for updates it said I had the latest official update for my phone.
I was kind of disappointed and rooted my device again...
Anyhow after a week went by I went to "fw.updato.com" as suggested by a XDA thread and download a Marshmallow update for my carrier.
I went to supersu and full unrooted
I fully wiped / resetted the phone
I went to odin mode and installed the Marshmallow update
Okay, so anyhow all seemed fine but when I went to boot up my phone I got a DRK (Device Root Key) issue. I figured id just wipe and try again, I even tried downgrading but it wouldn't let me.
I was very scared my phone was hard bricked. So anyhow I decided to flash CF-Auto Root and somehow that managed to fix or bypass the DRK issue and I booted up into Marshmallow! All seemed good in the world. I however noticed my finger print scanner was no longer working saying it was dirty or whatever but it was working with Lollipop.
Anyhow, long story short , I would like to go back to stock but I keep running into the DRK problem. The only thing that seems to let me boot into my phone is the CF-Auto Root and as long as im root I can never have it as Official.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
~ I would seriously pay $50 for a working solution, I realize I F* up pretty bad somehow. ~

Use samsung smart Switch To restore it to factory Defaults
Samsung SmartSwitch detects my device and allows me to backup and restore but it doesn't work for resetting.
It says, "Unable to find the serial number, model name, or IMEI on the server"
When I do a manual lookup and when I connect device and try I think it says it can't initialize.
Smart Switch & Kies never worked even when I was on official.
My model is SM-925W8
Can I get the firmware without them?
Model Name - SM-G925W8
When I was on Lollipop
Baseband: G925W8VLU1AOE1
Build Number: LRX22G.G925W8VLU1AOE1
On MarshMallow
Baseband: G925W8VLU3CPC5
Build Number: MMB29K.G925W8VLU3CPC5
Is it possible to downgrade to 5.0.2
download the latest firmware from sammobile n flash it through odin after that try smartswitch again and u cant go back to 5.1.1
Sent from my SM-G925F using XDA-Developers mobile app
Thanks for helping me.
The thing is I already am successfully running Marshmallow it's just that I can't go back to official because everytime I try I get a DRK problem and the only way to make the phone boot up is to flash CF Auto Root. And by doing that makes it unofficial.
Somehow CF Auto Root repairs my DRK but when I get rid of the root I get the DRK problem again.
I have seemed to have found something interesting and quite upsetting.
We all know SamMobile is slow as **** downloading firmwares so I got mine from Updato
Well , I just had a look on SamMobile and there is no Marshmallow available for the SM-925W8 yet in Canada it seems. So Updato somehow probably gave me firmware for SM-925F.
If my prediction is correct and downgrading isn't possible...this would mean I would have to wait for a official release of the firmware for the Canadian models.
My only question is WHEN and when that time does come will it actually fix my DRK problem...
[EDITED]
I could be very wrong with my prediction and simply just have the wrong firmware on my phone.
Okay, yes, it does seem I am running a Canadian Marshmallow actually...So why is it im having DRK problems, verification error checks and my finger scanner no longer works
Interesting thing about my phone, is when it was official...it wouldn't let me go pass update 5.0.2...said I had the latest version for my phone

Having trouble updating previously rooted S4

Hi,
I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4
SCH-1545
4.2.2
1545VRUAME7
I rooted it way back and the phone has been great. But many apps i want no longer work with this software version.
I reset the phone to factory but am unable to update the firmware. It checks and says there is new firmware and i download it and try to install it but when the phone reboots it says the download/update failed.
Is my phone not fully unrooted even with the factory reset ?
when i boot the phone it does have the lock icon and says custom ?
do i need to restore through Odin or something ? all the link i find are dead.
thanks
