Hello, i bought this phone like 2 weeks ago.
I unlock the bootloader, change the ROM (Stock to OTA), change the Kernel (Believe Kernel) and then try to add the bands. Also i have a nandroid backup of the original stock rom
I try this first:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015/general/how-to-verizon-moto-e-2015-gsm-network-t3098953
Click to collapse
But it doesn't work, also i can only select LTE (4G) option
After read this threads:

Thanks for your help!
I reach the modem driver but now, after putting the bands the phone start booplooping, if i use the Factory Mode function the phones works except for the network, can someone please help me?

I´ve a pocket pc SX_56 bought in USA, e-bay.
This is one PW10B1 (serieal number in the back of device)
But the ROM says PW10A1.
I try use it in Brazil, but i can´t, it´s lock.
The system don´t cach the signal.
Then i try upgrade the ROM (xda-developers.com) and now the device is unlock,
but don´t recognize the signal.
What´s the best solucion? If i upgrade the sistem will it work?
Thank´s.
Best regards
ps. Will it force-upgrade my radio stack?
I presume this is for US market. So it will be on 1900.
Its shown on the website that it can be "Auto band selection when traveling overseas", so does I can use the 900/1800 band when in Brazil(my country)?
You can enter bootloader and choose 900/1800 but you might have little success, the xda is a dual band phone 900/1900 or 900/1800 not triband.

Then it's a PW10B device (900/1900 MHz) .. forget what's written in device info.
Check with your operator which band width to use and use the GSM menu in the bootloader accordingly.
How do you get to the bootloader?
I know, it's a silly question, but I'd like to see what band width I am on.
Thanks

unfortunately, I 'm not aware of an accurate way to 100% positively determin this. Only in TMO 4.01.00 ROM there is a band selector in the phone settings but I can't trust it that much.
Usually people get the right band from the operator and select it from the GSM menu which has no indicator for what is the current band.
Maybe it's something to be added to the wishlist of WM2004
Hello, i live in Argentina and here UMTS/3G networks use the 850 Mhz band, as you know this is different to the 3G bands in use in Europe/Asia/Brasil, So far i haven't seen any GingerBread ROMs for the Galaxy Ace that use that Band.
I was wondering if using ODIN i could flash BOOT/PDA/CSC and leave the old Froyo MODEM ROM installed.
There is a brazilian modem working on your band, 850 mhz. Look this post

Nope, that won't work, Brazil uses the 2100 Mhz band,
I've already tried that ROM with no luck, had to return my phone.

Believe me, that works on 850 mhz frecuency. Mexician users had no problem with telcel in that band
Hi everyone,
I have the LG Optimus L90 D415 from T-mobile. I'm in Europe using a different carrier and I can only connect to 2G (EDGE). Following the instructions I found, I configured properly the APN and tried to change the radio to "Euro band" from the *#*#4636#*#* menu but when I press the option "Select radio band" I don't have any options to choose, just the title "Set GSM/UMTS band".
I didn't find any custom ROM to check if it changes. Can you please help me?
Thank you in advance.
It may be under the menu found via 3845#*415# ,
Theres radio settings to enable band 2100. Not sure if it will work without a new anntena in your phone. Tmobile US do not use full 2100 band but a cdma subset.
Failing that i think your wasting your time with roms. Try updating the firmware for your anntena. Perhaps the firmware from the 405 model but update firmeware with cation
Did u get it working ?

After enabled is it possible disable it?
hi
Did it work?
The T-Mobile version of the phone does not support UMTS (3g) on band 1 for the 2100 Mhz frequency as many European and other countries use, so that's most likely why there aren't any options, because nothing you could change would make a difference.
Help
Any solution for enabling WCDMA 2100 band 1 on LG-D415 ?
Hallo, I bouth by mistake a 1900mhz TrueSmart and cant use 3g here in EU, so I was thinking maybe I can change the baseband freq to 2100mhz. I did abit of research and it seems that the MT6572/MT6166 is capable of running in both the 1900mhz and 2100mhz 3G-FDD baseband freq, but is it controlled by the firmware or does it use different pin's on the SoC, and if so can I rewire the pin's and the use the 2100mhz firmware ?
Hope someone can help me with this, thanks

I dunno if this helps but a while back i had mt6589 phone with tri band GSM and single band HSDPA, but then I changed the modem files in /system/etc/firmware (modem_***.img) and when I checked in Engineer Mode it changed into quad band GSM and Dual band HSDPA (like phone which modem file i pulled)...
It have more stable network signal and connection
I think flashing 2100MHz firmware is also works :good:

Hello could you help me with finding and flashing modem firmware - I have Callisto 300 (same specs as Omate's Truesmart, running omate KK now) I don't get 3g in US and in engineering mode it shows Euro, Japan and Aus and Aus1 - I'm assuming this is 2100 mhz watch and I need 1900 baseband in order to get 3g with at&t.
Thanks a lot
Change from 2100 to 1900?
I too would like to know if it's possible to change the modem frequency, but I have the EU version, but am in the US with AT&T. Is it possible to change to 1900mhz so I can have 3G?
Baseband Changed
Hi, I finally got 3g 2100 mhz on my 1900mhz
I flashed the 4.4 rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/omate-truesmart/development/rom-omate-truesmart-ironman-firmware-t2998434
and Baseband file from https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0Bz7sBdJpIWEgRm5MYnhEQmlTNDA&usp=drive_web&tid=0Bz7sBdJpIWEgOWoxNEVXWkZKbkk
then followed guide from gerhardo.
adb shell mount -o remount,rw /system
adb push .\1900Baseband\modem_1_wg_n.img /system/etc/firmware/modem_1_wg_n.img
adb shell chmod 644 system/etc/firmware/modem_1_wg_n.img
adb reboot

I have refleshed from my stock rom 1gb/8gb 1900Mhz to stock rom 2100Mhz (from needrom). 3g works fine now with 2100Mhz.

I need the inverse. Do any of you still have your original 1900 Mhz baseband files for Kitkat 4.4.2? The google drive link in the post above is dead.
I bought a "ASUS PadFone X mini - Android 4.4, LTE, Phone and Tablet T00S" on ebay. Before doing that i check in "WillMyPhoneWork" if it work in with GSM provider. It does.
The specs reads:
Technology
GSM / HSPA / LTE
2G bands
GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G bands
HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
4G bands
LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 17(700)
Speed
HSPA 21.1/5.76 Mbps, LTE Cat3 100/50 Mbps
But when i try to use it with my provider it does not get any signal.
Any ideas what can i do? Thanks

Thank man! I asked ATT and they gave me the unlock code:
Unlock request number: 20272xxxxx
Thank you for contacting AT&T about unlocking your mobile device.
Congratulations! Here are your unlock instructions:
Your unlock code is: XXXXXX
1. Power off the device and remove the AT&T SIM card.
2. Insert card from another wireless carrier.
3. Power on the device.
4. The device will prompt for the unlock code.
5. Enter the unlock code.
I DO NOT have an ATT sim. Do i need one? Because the device is not asking for the unlock code.
