Bootloader is locked... was on stock KK rom and was rooted (towel)..
Installed dual recovery and facotry reset in recovery, flashed C6833_14.5.A.0.270_Customized HK flashable prerooted recovery then the recovery flashable. Rebooted and now it is stuck at the Sony logo...
Did I kill this thing?
EDIT: Was able to flash original firmware with XperiFirm. How can I update this pile to Lollipop? The PC companion app wouldn't work when the phone was bone stock.

First off, do you have any recovery left?
If you do, adb push the cwm recovery and flash it.
If not, use Odin or he I'm fall (in download mode) and flash it

Hi, I am a newbie here, I have a problem with flashing the rom (zip file) in the recovery that is my phone will crash (restart instead). And I have my phone locked bootloader here is what I have done to my phone
1) using flashtool to downgrade to a rootable rom ( 23.1.A.1.28 )
2) after flashing I use kingroot to root, after that install busybox and last install xzrecovery.
3) after I reboot my phone to twrp recovery and wipe data to perform a rom install (twrp version v2.8.6.0 )
But when I install the rom my phone restart and I stuck and the Sony logo boot screen.
How do I solve this problem.
Thanks

Downgrade firmware to. 314 kit kat and than root and install recovery and finall y try to flash rom.
For locked BL you must flash stock based custom roms.

hi ..
i m on official unrooted MM..i want rooted MM ..
if i flash a pre rooted tft in flashtool directly without downgrading, will it work for me or give me bootloop etc?

You must downgrade. It is fast and easy. Also, you CANNOT flash a modified .ftf firmware.

It is easier on kit kat build 314, because the old XZDR (Z2-lockeddualrecovery2.8.21-RELEASE.installer) roots and installs the recovery in one step. When the phone reboots you can install a Marshmallow ROM and that's it.

Required Bootloader Unlocked! This process deletes the DRM
download kernel, supersu and DRM
kernel: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwn7bAJ-USZjZzg0Q2I2RWlWa1U/view
supersu: https://download.chainfire.eu/932/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.71-20160331103524.zip
DRM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/xperia-z1-z2-z3-series-devices-drm-t2930672
first install kernel
*unpack and flash boot.img via fastboot
*run cmd
cmd Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
after flash supersu and drm keys
start recovery and flash zip files
I really don't know what is left to do, I always end up with a bootloop and have to repair my phone with flashtool. I have tried flashing twrp by adb/fastboot, temporarily booting to twrp, flashing different twrp files after repair.... I always get boot loop. Help please :/
Once I had my phone rooted by oneclickroot support, then I started to get play store crashed constantly. Once I booted to recovery and when try to reboot, got a bootloop. I tried to flash a new rom, so found a stock rom for Z5C and flashed it by twrp. But after a reboot I lost the twrp recovery this time. Then I tried to flash the recovery myself using abd, following the basics; fastboot flash boot boot.img/recovery recovery.img But I again stuck into a bootloop. Repaired again... I thought flashing a custom recovery breaks the phone, so I decided to just boot the recovery and install supersu. but again a bootloop in the end.

I have flashed the lastest stock ftf by flashtool, that is what I do after everytime I brick it while trying to obtain root. And if you mean switching to another user, yes it does.
that's good. it means hardware is fine.
it's your root method.
try this

I have Sony Xperia F5122 model.
Phone has TWRP and it's rooted. It has Magisk 14.0 for hidden root. I don't remember if I installed a kernel.
It's curently running build 34.2.A.2.69. version. Now xperia system update is getting all up in my nortification bar to update the software to 34.A.0.228. When I try to update it trough the phone it fails every time. I assume this is because I have TWRP not original recovery. How do I update without losing my data? I was thinking of flashtool but I don't know which boxes to tick for wipe and exclude. I have original firmware from xperifirm and compiled with flashtool.

you can use flashtool, exclude fotakernel so you'll keep twrp. After flashing rom use magisk app to get root or create and flash a rooted kernel

I realized that I can't or don't know how to get into fastboot because I have TWRP.
Ok now I remembered how to get into fastboot. Now I don't have root. Twrp asks for a decryption password which I don't know. Installing supersu from flash didn't do anything.
