don't think there is anything to try... it's just a site full of ads with nothing to actually donwload or instructions to follow.
correct me if i'm wrong, but this website appears to be referring to the S5.
the S6 runs a vastly different bootloader to the S5. Trying this on an S6 will likely only produce a negative outcome.

seems like the bootloader is the main problem with this device...
Its for S5 bro.. It is a virus if theres one for S6/E mate.. Theres no tool for now.

Ok I would of thought the guide to rooting the hox+ would of been on a sticky thread. As it is not i went searching but have so far come up blank. I am very new to android as i have been stuck in the windows world for quite some time now. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Or am i being a real idiot and it should be a case of going to the htc website unlocking the bootloader and flashing a custom rom? If so does anyone have a simple guide to flashing a rom and any idea of the most stable that still has beats etc. Thank you.

I've searched and searched for a proper guide to do this, but without look. Somehow Google are not able to distinguish between the standard X and X+. Does anyone here have a guide thats broken down in all steps? I've never rooted my Android phone before, so need all the basics.

I haven't even managed to unlock bootloader through HTC's dev website!?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 with version 4.3 jelly bean and I want to know if this method is legit:

Rooting is easy you just have to flash CF-AutoRoot into the device using Odin. There are plenty of Tutorials online regarding this.
And as @boomboomer said the free methods don't work so don't rely on them.

It depends on the system version, not just Android version. Different updates will require different methods more often than not.

It's been a while since I visited this forums so I'm kinda disorientated really....
I would like to flash a custom rom to my Galaxy S6 Edge... Can someone link me to a step by step tutorial, please? I used to do this on all my phones, but as I said, I've been away from this forums for a lot of time. My skills surely have gotten rusty.

Depends on which ROM you would like to flash?
A quick google search will bring you multiple tutorials.
Or look at my post on this thread page 2 there is a tutorial on there.

Obviously you may need to change a few things depending on the device model you have as this is for G925i.
