Hi all,
This is my first ROM it's the stock ROM for devices shipped in Egypt. I have followed the process as in the kitchen thread but I don't know how to make sure if this ROM is working properly or not. So hope one of you guys can test it and tell me.
By the way I don't encourage anyone to use this one except those looking for warranty as the GPS is disabled in this ROM.

Yes, check this thread and my discussion with taiseer, he is really a nice guy and made a good job.
By the way if you are not intending to use arabic interface (i.e just reading and writing I encourage you just to use Mobidiv 416 and the keymapper to support the Hardware Keyboard.

Just a kind request to check out the links of the two parts as they are no longer working, and have this message "This file is neither allocated to a Premium Account, or a Collector's Account, and can therefore only be downloaded 10 times." "This limit is reached" and I urgently need this ROM.

I thought Jade had no GPS ship installed. Please correct me if I'm wrong. If it exists the only thing to do is to download the middle east rom from HTC site, it will be enabled by default 9again if GPS exists). Just go to support page, choose either the arabic or wwe rom, put your serial number and download. The rest is easy: connect to activesync, have more than half battery full, double click on the exe file you downloaded, follow the steps, and voila!!!
Hello everyone,
I have a german version of the Tablet and changed with the AIO tool the Region to get the ICS.
My Problem now is that the Remotecontroll App in the ICS-US version has less compatible Hardware supports than the german one.
Have anybody deodexed the Roms or can upload the german control app?

On a similar note, I would like the remote .apk to try on my galaxy tab 7plus as it seems to have better device support than our stock app. If someone who has root and backed up their apps would be generous enough to post it somewhere, I think there would be a lot of happy galaxy tab users. many thanks. I dint know tht galaxy had infrared port like tablet s for the remote feature to work
There is one app in the market called media remote you can download tht on ur galaxy tab
But the inbuilt remote feature of tablet s and the remote.apk is only for tablet s and dosent work for other tablets witjout infrared port

Any luck with getting the sony remote app to work on the samsung galaxy tab 2? I have one as well and hate the remote app that comes with it. I downloaded the files listed above but the install fails. I have the settings set to allow installs from unknown sources so that shouldn't be the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.
if u have root, manually place the files in the apps directory (/system/apps/) using root explorer (available in market). Call them irremote.apk and irremoteservice.apk Set permissions to rw-r--r--
Any way without root?

I've got a similar issue to the OP... stuck on official US (Not rooted) with a UK tablet and would like the apk with UK device list so I can easily add sky box etc... Anybody able to provide apk or way round to enable uk devices on us app?

I have a Dakele 3, and can not install anything from Google . Also the ROM seems Chinese, even after updating from needrom.com
I want it all to change to English and be allowed to use not China as home location.

Got now all the google stuff running, with installing the Dakele ROM over the posted software. And then I installed the google pack from the app section as well. Also over that rooting software. Works well! :good:
How do you like the phone so far? How are the 3G/4G networks? Are they working? Also, what country are you using it on? I would be happy if you could post some photos.

So far so good. It is fast and nice looking. Unfortunately I can not test 3g or 4g because Canadas network bands are not supported by the phone.

Thanks for your reply about the ROM; you mentioned it is available on the Dakele Forum. Unfortunately the forum itself is in Chinese. Is there an official English forum?
I managed with help of the vendor to install a ROM from 2009 form needrom.com, and now most of the phone is English. I still have some chinese icons in the dialer.
Not disturbing, but If there is a way to make this all English, please let me know. If there is a recent complete Englis ROM , I'd appreciate info or a link.
One thing that IS irritating: if I just click on a number of my dial history when I want to call that number, the country code +86 is added as a prefix. Does anyone know how to remove this setting?

I am a registered member of tomotlei.com. I found the rom- Galaxy Note8 SM-N9500 v5.0
But when you want to download anything from this site you need membership in https://pan.baidu.com/s/1jIP7pno. For this you need a china telephone number for the OTP to be sent . I am stuck there.
The Chinese web page cn be translated easily by Google translate, The rom I told is in Chinese Language. As I know from the discussion there is no multi language option in this rom. So my request is to anybody who has membership in this website, p;ease download it and p;ease translate it to English . It will be great help for those having Galaxy note 8 SM-N9500.

As spoken earlier, if you prefer English room of tomeitolei website then there is no chance to get it since all ROMs there are only in Chinese and even some rom doesn't contain gapps or Google play store. Best way is to stay unroot or else you root by changing TGY bl to CHC bl then root with SuperSU or maybe magisk if you can.

its free and dosent require an account.

One thing you should know that most ROM in Chinese cut down multi language even Google services to keep ROM thin. so, im afraid if you install a ROM without google service will take you inconvenient.

After you upload, we can ask some expert developer to add google services and also to have English language added to it

I have downloaded ,extracted the firmware.
There is one notepad in Chinese which I tried to translate,but failed- attachment
There are two CSC files
1- CSC_Tomato-N9500-RA2-v5.0-odin.tar.md5
2-CSC_WIPE_Tomato-N9500-RA2-v5.0-odin.tar.md5
Only one can be flashed in Odin, which one?
I went to tomotlei site with help of google translate, but failed to find tutorials
I think before flashing a factory reset may be required
I know I am asking too much help from u, but there are nobody else I can ask. If you can find a tutorial kindly post it so that all interested parties can be benefited.

If you want to wipe phone select wipe one not to wipe select another.By the way rom support some language not full multilangual.

flash it just like stock ROM, use BL AP CP CSC files, CSC_WIPE means if you use this file, it will erase all your data on your phone (recommend, avoid FC problem), another one is keeping your data (using when update 6.0 release).
CROM need to be unlocked, otherwise you cant flash it (Odin will show FAIL), you can find tutorials in xda forums to unlock the CROM.

thanks for your help.
I flashed the rom by odin, putting csc file - all wipe
all went smoothly, and rebooted, but the screen came with chinese writing with three options lower down, which i could not understand .
I pressed the top option, then started updating, finally the rom installed.
There is english language, but no google play or services.
Then i flashed the latest gapps for nougat 7.1.1, (aroma variant) . Installed corrctly, but fails to open the google play stone- crashed
then i wiped whole rom, restore the stock without the difficulty.
What i noticed is that , i could not find all the additional options they clamed in this rom under settings, it is the same as the stock rom, only there is change of battery icon and the clock is in the centre.
May be it is due to the option i selected.
Finally, what i think is that we need some help from persons who knows chinese and english to help us all to give a good tutorial to flash this rom.
It is very smooth and you can flash it easily and reverted back also easily. You will not loose your root or twrp
so somebody who knows english and chinese , please come forward and help us all.

I have to tell you that if you flash it, you will:
get a rooted phone
can only charge your phone to 80%
lose official customer support from Samsung immediatly
shows unofficial phone every time you boot it up
etc.
I dont really suggest you to do that, to be honest. But it is your choice.
