Hi, I can't turn on my WiFi hotspot in my moto g (1st gen, running on lollipop 5.0.2). There have 'error' message and can't move the switch into 'on' position. And I've noticed that my device name renamed with a strange name 'FFnK-4pOa4pOY4pOS4pOX4pOd4pOQ4pO'
. I need urgent help on this and want to know what is playing behind this.

It works perfectly, but there is a little issue with wifi
When i connected to a wifi point and i exit from its range, and enter in other wifi range that i had stored in my wifi connections, phone not connect automatically to that other wifi while phone is locked. but i had to connect it mannually unlocking the phone.
In the original rom, when i was near my home, for example, phone connects automatically to my home wifi
In other hand, when i connected to a wifi and the wifi not detect activity, it disconnect from acces point, although i have put to never the sleep polytics of wifi. This problem is solved partialy because i install an app from market that make a ping every minute to a extern ip, then wifi detects activity and no sleeps.
A friend tell me that there is an update called "baseband" that update the part of android that controls radio connections, and this update can solve this problem.
I search that update in xda forums and find this thread

but when i try to update it with clockworkmod recovery it tells me that the update is in an old version previous to android 1.5. (amend) and abort the process.

So i need a help from you guys, whenever I try to connect to wifi there is nvram warning err 0x10
I tried replacing the wifi files in root/data/nvram/apcfg/aprdeb
(Wifi and WifiCustom) but it doesent work
n this aprdeb folder I only have 4 files:
WIFI
WIFI_CUSTOM
OMADM_USB
BT_Addr
Yesterday only showed the nvram error, it is showed as a saved network and doesent give a list of the wifi networks. Today when I come very close to my wifi router it showed my wifi network but with very low signal.
Today I clicked forget on the nvram error network and it doesent show again, but there are no list of avalible wifi networks
What should I do guys, I tried reset, still this error and no wifi network list
If you could help me I will be thankful my whole wife, if you need more info about the phone just reply to this thread

Hello ... this morning I woke up with a problem ... My moto e disables WIFI automatically ... When I want to turn it on... it turns off ... it is already restored to factory settings and continues with the same problem ... any solution for this?
hi guys, I have a problem with the moto e 2015. I just want to start wifi and when I do nothing happens, not looking back to the menu options and the wifi is off, and not to do networking. I think the problem comes from the persist folder if someone could spend the files in that folder, you would greatly appreciate it. And proble flashing modems and nothing works:crying:

i have htc one m7 wifi stuck on wifi turning on. its rooted and have custom lolipop installed on it tried everything to fix the wifi but nothing worked, did some modifications in the wifi folders using root browser i got to where i csn turn wifi on but not really turned on cause it dont show the add wifi and when i go back to settings and ho to wifi it turns off. do what im wondering if anybody have same phone with wifi working on it can upload wifi files and folders in the root file the place of the files are here
ect/wifi
data/misc/wifi
everything in this 2folders please
just wanna try n see if it could work
