I have bought this charger which I thought was UK... It seems it's US plug even if we have 220v compare to 110/20V in the US... But I was using a UK to EU adapter causing the seems to be original charger ti have a hell of slow charging and sometimes even drain if i was using tunein while charging... I wanna ask that by using a wrong adapter I'm loosing power or just that this charger sucks? Thanks

Hard to say, if it is a LG charger for the G3 it should work, but the adapter could be bad too. We travel a fair amount and find it is always best to invest in good quality adapters.
I have had problems with 500 ma chargers doing the same thing, charging really slowly and discharging slowly when using the phone. I can't see what the specs are on the adapter, it should be 1A Output at 5V.
No, it should be 1.8A
The charger is 1.8A but the adapter is cheap...

Has anyone got any suggestions for the above?
Thanks.
I'm using an LG plug for a non-7 LG Optimus phone (3D/C900/7Q), which seems to work ok. It's 5.1V compared to 4.8V on my european charger, but I checked and the device doesn't get too hot and it charges fine AFAICS.
Mine came from Handtec with a 2 pin Euro type charger, they just sent me a travel plug to go with it. Will any micro USB charger not work? I use whatever's lying around (HTC and Nokia) and they seem to do the job fine.
The original charger is called "LG STA-U14UD" and/or "LG STA-U13UD"
Looks like this:

And is available apparently from ebay sellers like this and this.
Here and here are examples. No affiliation.
Also for completeness, there's one on Amazon but it doesn't have a USB cable plug, it's wired:
Mine arrived from Germany to the UK with the LG STA--U13ER European 2 pin charger. The seller had included a two pin to UK adapter. Works OK and saves me taking an adapter when I work in Europe.
The cable I have now for my current droid is only like 12-18inches long and its rather annoying. How long is the cable your S3 shipped with?
thanks in advance!!
Just over three feet .
I have a shorter 16 inch lead but that is to short .
jje
Not long enough. I had to use a different 1.5m USB cable because the original won't stretch from the plug to the table by my chair.
Can you use any standard usb to mini usb cable? I agree, it's too short :-(

I bought an OEM Samsung Wall charger for my GS2. I use that with my GS3. It's about 4 feet long.

Yes you can use any cable with the adapter..
Just try not to use one of the really low quality cables though.
So, I'm using the charger that I got with the s4 when I bought it. Recently it has been charging extremely slow and I don't know why. I've only had it for about 2 or 3 months so I don't know what happened or how.
This is what I get with my charger, around 400 mA or so

Now, with my friend's charger who also has an s4, about 1300 mA
Did my charger just take a crap? I guess the next thing to try would be if it's the cable or the base.

It very well could of generally when they crap out they stop working altogether. If you have one or can get one I would try both the base and the cord to try and eliminate what it is. I would also clean the port on your phone as well that could be giving you some resistance of theres any debris in it.
Hit thanks if I helped you out. Doing a little bit of reading goes a long way. Sent via tapatalk.
Looks like it's the cable itself. I looked at the plug that goes into the phone and seemed slightly crooked, so I bent it back a little bit with my fingers. Now it charges around 1000 mA which is decent. Guess these things are just really touchy. :what:

So I found this while on my favorite crappy Chinese website DealExtreme.
WIRELESS CHARGER
Its a wireless charger and the receiver that you can add to the back cover of any phone. At $25, I can't pass that up.

The top one is the charger for the free Zuk power bank when I purchased the Z1. The bottom one is the charger that came with the Z1. Will the top one work equally or better than the original Z1 charger?

Go with Zuk Charger
The Zuk charger is the best option for now coz it has 2.5A of O/P voltage which can charge faster.

Right. I can leave the other charger at home and use the Zuk charger for both phone and power bank. Pointless carrying around 2 chargers.
Plz avoid using 3rd party chargers unless its branded or it meets the specs. The use of 3rd party charger many damage ur phone as well as the "Type C" cable which are too pricey!!!!
an any 1tell me from where I can get Og charger in India??
