guys im on RESURRECTION REMIX latest build
but im facing bad front camera quality in this rom so i want to go back to stock rom
but flashtool is not working
what can i do now?

Hi,
Well with regards to the latest flash tool, it requires a FSC script to flash your Z2 correctly. You could read up on this in the forum.
You could however download the older version of flash tool 0.9.18.5.- Doesnt require FSC script.
... second you could flash a prerooted stock zip ....also found in this forum.

P.S if camera quality is what you looking for stick to stock, @niaboc79 has an amazing advanced stock rom for LB & UB.

Even I came back to stock from CM because of pathetic front cam quality.
You mean to say that Paranoid has fixed this issue? How is the picture quality in front cam now?

camera quality is now same like stock one
front cam first gives bad quality
and i takes 5-10 pics to test in front
now the camera quality is clear

when ever i open my camera application say me stock camera or some 3rd party camera app it says cant connect camera i hav changed the rome i use custom rom

I think the problem is with kernel ! Do you use stock kernel or custom kernel ? Try any other custom ROM or flash stock ROM and see if the problem persists

i use custom kernal which with lenevo vibe rom
thnku soo much surely i will giv it a try...
but wen i flashed stock rom with sp tool there was no camera icon

No way ! When u flash sp tool stock rom there s no chance of camera disappearing ! If still u get so then its bcos u r flashing older version of stock rom ! As far as i know in newer CHD devices there is a slight camera hardware change and hence there is s specific sp tool version for it ! ( Ifu flash any other older camera might not appear ) I am not a CHD user. ! So check which is that version

since u r saying that there is no camera icon, it means the software thinks that there is no camera in the phone probably because it is a hardware defect.

How did u say it appeared earlier ?! What did u do after that that it has disappeared now ?
I think u should have a look at custom kernel specifically meant for latest CHD hardware phone. Have a look at A116 original android development thread

actually i flash 4.1.1 version. then when i booted up the phone camera was working perfectly
then i shifted to custom rom
from there the problem started the camera icon disappeared
when i flashed 4.2.1 versoin still there was no camera
m facing soo much diffuculties without camera
sir whick kernel shall i use cn i plz provide me the link..

The above link the guy that has shared is the correct link. See which version kernel is apt for you and flash it !
Is there any way to record in slow motion using CyanogenMod 12.1? It's the only feature that I miss from the stock ROM
I don't care if it's an app, a flashable zip or stuff, but it may be easier than switching between CM and the Stock ROM every time I want to record

I recommend flashing on cm12 as well as 13....
I dont want any credits.... I just zipped this..
All credits goes to Kumajaya. who managed to fix this blob for redmi 2 from oppo r7..

For me, it fixed autofocus issue when RazorReborn kernel was flashed on CM 13.0.
does it work on miui 7?, i hope it became fix auto focus on mine too

No, it was for the earlier stages of CM 13 when the camera wasn't working at all.

Am running on resurrection remix MM in redmi 2 prime

But I wanna know ur suggestions too!

I'm also in the process of finding a good all-round ROM.
Yesterday I installed PureX Z2 Mm v1 by Rajeev. It will take a few days to determine battery life but I'm initially very impressed - it's fast and fluid, with a lot of XZ additions.
One thing to note: although not specified in the Installation Instructions I also had to install the Z2-6.0.1_575_bootloop_fix

Install Pure X v1 MM by Rajeev and enjoy in every feature in your phone.
You can maybe install Pexocam 8.5 for camera,but I tested all that camera mods and best results get with stock camera capatibillity.

I use MoOS as my daily driver and I wish to switch to Sultan's ROM for the camera enhancements...The problem is I do not know much about it at all...Please do help me out...
1) Is it possible to use OOS cam app on it? If yes,does beauty mode work?
2)Are there any bugs?
3)hows the battery life?
If beauty mode doesn't work...Please do suggest me another ROM in which beauty mode works on the OOS camera app....ASAP ....Your help would mean a lot to me
I wouldn't use sultans ROM personally because all development has stopped for it, meaning you'll miss any any security fixes
If you really want to still then :
1) you can flash OOS camera but I doubt the extra modes work. I know panorama definitely is broken in it.
2) no bugs. It's a very good ROM.
3) Battery life was excellent for me. Best of any ROM I've used, including OOS.

Which version are you talking about :
The OOOOOLLD one (CM13) or the unofficial Sultan's LOS 14 ?
Edit : on some newest roms, tweaks have been done from Sultan's HAL with OOS blobs and the result is quite good. But all versions have manual control broken.
On any ROM you flash, you can try the OP5 camera port from OPO (bacon) which is beautiful and fonctionnal

As for another ROM, I'm using JDC rom at the moment. It's just AOSP, which isn't for everyone but everything works and it ships with OOS camera.
No sultan enhancements though.
