This kernel has nothing new, just put my favorite tweaks from other great kernels. Performance and battery life is just awesome for me. Hopefully you will like it.

What do you mean by latest interactive governor?

How is your first observations of the kernel? (performance, battery, heat)

Maybe you can find inspiration from Defcon kernel and the most recent Taurus, they have features and optimizations, anyway, i feel this a bit stock, but not bad battery, just it drains a bit, but i believe interactive is a bit more consuming governor, anyway, this is only my opinion, don't take it as an attack

Testing now in LMY48I frank AOSP build, regards from Argentina.-

Interesting.... Gonna flash and use it for today! Thanks for your build. Any chance of implementing color profiles? I prefer obsanity.

sources?

I will try this kernel on my second rom but it's not flashable zip.
It's possible to make a zip file?

no desktop/laptop around for 10 days. any luck anyone having a zip?

Download "Flashify" from the Play Store and flash the image with it. Piece of cake.

You can use the native TWRP capability of image flashing, there's a switch button in your recovery made for this purpose

Works really well. Really great performance balanced with battery life.

It's different for every phone. Some UV much better than others. Also, what you use your phone for affects this. If you are playing games or watching videos all the time, your CPU will spend much more time at max clock speed which will lead to more instability. Best thing to do is try starting out with very mild UV, don't "set on boot" and use your phone for a bit. If everything is fine UV a wee bit more, rinse and repeat. Eventually you will find the sweet spot for your phone at all the applicable frequencies.
I cannot undervolt as high as other users.especially at lower cpu clocks.

[XU]Problem with the CPU clock

Hi,I have a little problem,I have setted my CPU frequencies with MIN clock 400mhz and MAX 1.15ghz but after a few minutes the MIN clock return to 200mhz without my changes. I have tried using different kernels and different apps for the setting of CPU but the problem persists. Does anyone know a solution? Thanks and sorry for my bad english

Use SetCPU or another such app to set profiles for screen state/app etc.

What governor do you use?
Some governors read directly from the frequency table, and not from the value that the user set.
Look for more info about your governor.
Why are you wanting to turn the minimum up for? Put it as low as possible

[Q] Governor: zzmoove or pegasusq

Hi everybody!
I'm using SlimBean w/ YANK555-Kernel.
So I want to know which governor is more batteryfriendly and which has a better performance. zzmoove or pegasusq?
Thanks in advance.

It all depends on your unique configuration. Some find the exact opposite results as others.
Please try them both for yourself and see which you prefer,

[Q] Boeffla kernel, what is NG?

i performed some searches here on XDA and google to find out, and looked in the developers faqs, but have not been lucky to understand the difference between the normal and the NG version of boeffla kernel
someone can give me some light on this?
thanks
Ng is an hybrid version of boeffla based on Samsung binary: major difference between Ng and normal version is that Ng make better photo.

...and it's stable, I'm trying this since many weeks while according to Lord Boeffla is in experimental step still and may be buggy.
@broken920 (dall'Italia con furore ), is 2-way call recording supported by NG Kenel?

molto probabilmente no. Avevo letto un post di Lord Boeffla in cui affermava che non avrebbe sviluppato questa funzionalità perché la registrazione della chiamata è illegale in alcuni paesi
Probably not. I've read a post of lord boeffla where he says that he will not implement this function because in some countries call recording is illegal

Does that mean it takes same photo quality as sammy based rom or it is somewhere in between sammy and aosp?

I don't know what to say,I use it with AD 2.5.2 and it seems to be better than with normal boeffla kernel, not as good as the Sammy camera, but better than with stock kernel of AD,yeah somewhere in the middle

NG is based on the updated samsung sources from samsung itself.
non NG is still based on the very old/patched together sources that are no longer updated

No asop rom will take photos as good as stock sammy im afraid.
In aosp rom are not implemented stabiliser and anti vibration as well as in Samsung rom.

No deep sleep: kernel wakelock "bluesleep" and "msm_serial_hs_dma"

No deep sleep: kernel wakelock "bluesleep" and "msm_serial_hs_dma"
Hi
Just received few days ago the G watch and I am noticing no deep sleep on my nexus 5 with kitkat 4.4.4 stock with root.
the G watch is on 5.0.1 and Android Wear I 1.0.5.1630507
The battery drain of the watch is normal, around 30hrs or more.
The kernel wakelock bluesleep and msm_serial_hs_dma last the same time.
I am running on Dalvik.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks
Woody
I have also this issue but depend on Watchface used. For example, Watchface from "Smartwatch Bureaux" like Axx, Fxx, Vxx with Weather have many battery issue.

I decided to move to Lollipop and now I am with Cataclysm ROM and I am really satisfied.
Absolutely no issue with this wakelock.
I don't know if stock Lollipop would be the same, but I preferred to mount this ROM that is really good.

Could be a kk issue.
Any other example of improvements moving from kk to lollipop? I can't try with my Z3 yet!

Has someone else noticed an improvement going from kk to L? I can't test is yet on my D6603.

I've just updated my Z3 to 5.0.2 and I still have both msm_serial_hs_dma and BTLowPower going hand in hand and keeping my phone always awake.
Is there any possibility that I have a defective unit?
Thanks.
I'm getting so many bluesleep and msm_serial_hs_dma wakelocks.
I'm on 5.1 Cataclysm + ElementalX and can't find a solution.
Did anyone get rid of that kind of wakelocks?
