Hello I have searched a lot for topics related to the VT328t model, but it seems this one is not very popular. Also it is not dual sim.
So far I have tried the tutorial here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746561 but i was not able to flash clockworkmod. Most probably the version does not work.
I would at least be glad to root it to be able to install google play on it.
thanks for the help.

Have any of you guys found a reliable way to do this yet? Most of the links or guides I've seen on this so far seem a little be hand wavey in one way or another.
Also, you used kingo root to root it? It wouldn't work when I downloaded the apk, did you have to download it to your desktop?

Did you get it to work with google play? WHat ROM did you use, I'm unsure if I should use the GR3 (model TAG-L--) or the TIT-AL00 ROM.

Did you manage to get it working with google services?
I'm guessing the guys in this thread have either sorted the problem or no longer need the solution. However, if anyone else is in the same position, I'm just updating to let you know that I (with a lot of help from a friend) have got google play services installed and working on my phone. We used a combination of this thread which is the same process, but the device here is slightly different (TIT, not TAG) and therefore the CWM recovery file never worked on my phone. So using this thread, we were able to find the download TWRP instead (it links to another thread where you can download TWRP).
The entire process if fairly simple.
The hardest part for me was getting the bootloader code. I needed to contact Huawei consumer services (one of the European offices) and explain I needed the code. They told me I needed to contact the Chinese consumer services as that's where I bought the phone, they spoken very little English so it went nowhere fast. I contacted the same European office again and explained I cannot get the code via typing my info into the unlocker webpage, nor through the Chinese office. So they managed to get back to me after a day or so with the code (I needed to send a screenshot of the unlocker page failing to give me the code, along with the other phone info the unlocker page asks for).
Once you have that, just follow the guide for the TIT-AL00 (but with the TWRP recovery linked above). You don't need to root the device if you just want GAPPs. I have the device working with all the google apps etc, and didn't need root access.

Just recently they managed to get root to work on it for 4.4. While I have heard that someone managed to get a copy of the bootloader, I don't think anyone has developed an alternate that works. Mainly because the phone is so old and that dealing with the bootloader on this phone tends to be problematic. (Can you say "BRICK"). Enjoy root while you can and look for another model of phone that has lots of mods still working with it. I did....

Still no luck, i have been looking now for a month.
Still No Root?!

what version do you have?
Still No Root?!
It just says Doogee X10 in the Model #. . Dual Sim Unlocked. Its a china phone so either MTK6795, OR MTK0633
Update Doogee X10 Chipset
I tried using several scatter files in sp flash tool, and the chipset is stated clearly as MT633
I think TWRP on this phone might be a lost cause, i have given up on the idea.
I am in the same situation, I stay here...
- Root for Unlocked Dual SIM
Wondershare for Android, Titanium Backup for Android, use OTG for this - tricky because everything in knowledge base for this stuff is usually just follow same as X5, but X10 has these details.
Unlocked + Dual SIM.
still searching for CyanogenMod
The 6.0 has default features though, Try contacting Doogee for a Factory Reset Instructions due to reading fixed corrupted pics. They might have a white paper dl that might include ROOT,
might need to translate into the territorial language but if you prove ownership you should be able to get that, maybe if you scathe a china web portal about doogee updates you migh find some useable links there
Magisk works. Make sure you:
Unlocked your bootloader
Know how to use fastboot
Have a recovery.img
Understand that if you choose to root, we are not responsible for loss.
There is no custom roms that I know of - however can build one, please do!
Dear all,
thank you for you paience reading the following message!
Is more days that I'm reading posts, forum, pages and everithink to find the right way to root my tablet SM-T585.
I have found lots of tutoral regarding the model T580 or P585 but not an exactly procedure for my T-585
The problem start with TWRP that doesn't exist for my model T-585
My question is: Can i try to install the TWRP for T-580 in my T-585? It will work without issues?
Or there is an alternative with another custom recovery?
I buy the tablet few days ago and I don't want brick... for that I want be sure about the correct procedure.
I don't want install custom Rom, the only think i want is to root my T-585 with NOUGAT and remove all the system applications i don't need and set up then LINK2SD to install the future app in my SD card.
Is years that I'm doing this procedure in all my phones, but now it seem imposible to do in my new tablet T-585.
Thank you for any helps and for XDA support wich is simply amazing... always and in any case!
Hello everyone,
I am forced to create this thread because I can't find any useful and good explanation of my problem.
I recently bought a Galaxy S10 and the root process seems to go wrong. I tried 20 times already to install TWRP and I all get is a bootloop after flashing the patched one.
So I have 2 questions:
- do I really need to patch TWRP? There are some contradictions in the threads which I don't understand
- is the latest firmware supported for the root?
Thank you for your help!
Do you have an exynos variant? If you have a snapdragon you can't root unless it's the hong kong variant.
If you knew what you are doing you would at least post the Model of your phone.
There are at least three variants.
I think you need to read the rooting thread carefully.
