Hi Everybody, excuse me for my english
I am new in this forum, I go to talking about my experience in my case ,I have changed the touch screen it was broken, it this was 2 months ago and it worked very well, however one week ago this frozen screen , touch screen don't response , turn off and remove battery. then turn on and just begin and stop in animacion Galaxy Trend s7560m ,i tried some times and again the same , then i did the next pass
1. - i tried to do hard reset/ factory mode -- I can not get into that mode
2 - Downloading mode -- yes then I installed proper drivers for samsung, installed Odin3 and Firmware for galaxy trend s7560m.
I made the flashing with successful, when end my cell was working well.
This just worked for 5 hours about then the same frozen screen and stuck in boot, I went back to the same old process, and nothing Odin finished with PASS! however cell stuck in boot.
When connect the cell to AC current with the charger this don't charge just turn on and stuck in boot loop one and other , remove the battery and carge a multicharger until fully charged then try remove the battery and multicharger carge a charge until then try again fully loaded firmware and run , after a few days the same again .
I found a way to make it work only when this happens is to put the phone in downloading mode and connect the USB to the computer until a sound is heard connected dipositive wait a minute disconnect the power cell and ready works again without loading firmware , this only works with a limited battery that is only works if you have approximately 70% battery.
I not find way to do to work properly
Does anyone have a similar case? or any ideas will be taken into account
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I rooted my phone about 6 months ago. It worked fine up until a few months ago when it would crash on boot now and again. It wasn't too bad.
About two months ago I turned my phone on, and it's getting stuck on the Samsung boot logo. It stay's on it for about 5 minutes then just goes off.
I tried restoring the firmware, and it restored OK, according to odin, but when it boots up it does the exact same.
I cannot access recovery mode, only download mode. The phone is a UK samsung s3 and charges fine.
I sent it away to O2 as it was under warranty and they said I would be £80 before they would even look at it as the USB port had water damage.. I think this is total ballox.
Is there anything I can do? I am going on holiday tomorrow and would like to try and get it back up and running. :good:
Cheers
Hello! So.. I have a problem and i sincerely don't know what to do. 3 days ago, after a day of use (everything went ok for a while) i came home, i grabbed the charger and pluged it into my phone so it can..charge(nothing out of ordinary). After like 1 hour, i took my phone, unpluged it from the charger and pressed the on/off button to open my phone, check my gmail, facebook, the usual..buuuuuut it won't open..
For the first couple of minutes i thought it was just a bug and tried to restart it(take the battery out, wait 1 minute, put it back in, press "the button" and so on) but still it would not start. RESEARCH TIME!
After this, i went online from my laptop and started looking for explanations regarding why is my phone (i am trying to avoid the word but..) maybe "bricked"..
Here is a video i found online that explains what my phone is behaving like: "*SOLVED* SAMSUNG GALAXY S2 wont turn on, in description"
(i can't post links )
IMPORTANT
- My S2 has the official software ( JB 4.1.2)
- Never rooted my phone
- Never tryed to change anything to the software
- Did a couple of factory resets in the last 1 and a half year just to refresh it(so it is not such an old phone)
- It is not under warranty
Ok.. after 1 day of research i tryed the following methods:
-went into recovery mode and did a factory reset to it, erased the cache, rebooted it etc..still nothing
-when i saw it was not working, i went further into the download mode. Odin on my computer, official firmware downloaded(4.1.2) ready to go..
After i waited for a couple of minutes so Odin would do it's magic, the little window( In odin, the one with factoryfs, cache, hidden etc.) reached the "Reset" status, the blue bar on my phone dissapread and it started to reboot.. but here everything got out of control.. my phone started to reboot like this: samsung logo on for a few seconds, and then the green android with the blue things spinning appeared on the screen but just for one second, and then, it was gone...and the phone started to repeat itself.. i mean the logo and the green android again and again, without any improovment and way to stop it.. so i pulled the battery out and started thinking for other solutions..
OK, after i saw this, i tried again with the 4.1.2 one, and then with the 4.0.4 one(i thought maybe an older soft would help me) but still it wouldn't go through all the way( ok honnestly i think this one was the one that wasn't stuck rlly on the green android screen but on the samsung startup screen with the S sign on)..
the end..
Sorry for the long story but i really don't know what to do with my phone
I am willing to listen to any solution you guys can offer..thanks :good:
Keep flashing different firmwares and take a look at this guide
forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/help/guide-26-12-flash-stock-firmware-rom-t2365701
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/guide-t2345831
1. The galaxy hangs during normal work(it had custom ROM but was working fine for years), the display showed messed up image and was unresponsive, had to remove the battery(so it was caused by bug or flash storage error).
2. The galaxy could no longer be booted, it was stuck on Samsung Galaxy S II screen and in bootloop(if the flash storage partitions are bugged, I guess it can't boot the SPL and the device is stuck in the main bootloader, is it located in separate ROM chip or in the storage flash chip?).
3. It couldn't boot to recovery, only to download(odin) mode(again I guess it's part of the bootloader on the separate rom chip).
4. Tried to reflash, had to interrupt the operation because it didn't started at all(no progress on NAND write flash).
5. Tried to repartition with .pid file, again no progress with the operation.
6. After that, the device is completely dead, we tried removing the battery, using the charger and other common stuff but it can't be started anyway.
So can the failed repartition/flash operations bug the ROM bootloader so when you press the power button the CPU can no longer execute any instruction(I guess it's hardwired to some init instructions in the bootloader).
Any information about the internal storage chips or any ideas what to do?
Same problem here
Hi I've got the same problem with my phone since i've updated my cm13 on sgs II phone seemed to be working perfectly but around month later woke up and saw that my phone stuck on samsung logo (Same as your did) what i've done was restart to see is it works or recorvery boot up but nothing seemed to be happening. After some time decided to reinstall OS using odin but phone been comp[letely inresponsible to what i've tried to put on it (always been stuck on Nand write start (tried everything)). I tried to repartition it again but after that same as your phone died without any sensible reason. I "temporary" fixed it by pealing off the motherboard specific conductor. It even boot up but afterr that i runned out of charge died again. I can feel that phone is starting to be warm just like it's working but i still have black screen of death, so is there anybody who might actually help with this thread ?

Hello everybody,
as of yesterday I am in the Stone Age again using an old phone of mine.
What happend? No clue - the phone went off after recieving a SMS message in power saving.
When trying to put on: No reaction.
Connect to Energy Outlet: LED RED - leave hours - LED OFF
Retry on Button: No reaction.
Tryed following I read here: Press Red Reset before conecting to Laptop - It did something good! I hear the sound of connection. No Icons apear though! No recognition of device on the File Manager. Sound comes frequently, connect - disconnect - loop I guess.
Strange Symtoms received days before: I was in Japan on visit. Recieved about 30 messages of the program Google App, that it had to shut down. Asking confirmation. It never ended, so I turned phone of. After turning on, everything ok. Thought it had to do with local google in Japan.
Battery: loading felt very hot, phone felt hot. But after disconection worked.
Returning form Japan to home: google.app close down problem again. Endless confirmation. Stoped loop with disconection again.
Made reboot with red button on back.
PHONE lifeless.....no reaction, help! How to acces, so I can flash? or is it a battery problem? (ordered just one just to try)
Rom Installed: SLXROM_v11-Lenovo_P780 - in the year 2013.

Seems to be a motherboard problem!
Hi stympy
Need to to identify if this is motherboard issur or ROM.
My phone purchased in Jan 2014. It has been updated to official rom 4..2.2 using OTA. No other unofficial ROM being install before. In Jan 2015 the screen broken so we send in to local repair shop.
Problem started here, after repaired (just change lcd screen) the phone behave restart/blank once a while. Due to different problem the workshop does not cover the warranty (due to different issue). But the workshop recheck if problem with connection of lcd and motherboard. No problem here. In March 2015 it become unusable because once power on P780 8GB (international version), it keep bootloop at lenovo startup and the logo yet to flip it gets reboot again.
In an attempt to revive it (hope it is ROM issue), hard reset done but still the same. Try to flash with v5 (manually install drivers MTK and USB) but v5 cant detect the phone. Device manager shows the driver installed successfully but with a warning sign. Properties says something like "the device does not start correctly". FYI, I cant access the phone's SD card from My Computer. Sometimes it appear a Lenovo logo to install some software (red icon)
So is there any "hard reset" i can do or it is the motherboard issue? Worse come to worse, Is it advisable to change motherboard?

Send me an PM with id and pass in 7 hours from this message! .
I need an information about your PC or notebook. What windows do you use?
This happened to me several times exactly the same condition
What you have to do: Do not never charge it and left it for several days until the battery is discharged -With pressing the power button from time to time-
Then recharged I think this work
I advise you to use STOCK ROM

Good morning guys
I've been having issues with my Galaxy S2 for about a month now so I'll try my best to explain what's happened.
I was playing on my PS4 and I had left my Galaxy S2 (non root) on charge. When I returned to check the charge levels, it had booted and was stuck on the black galaxy S2 logo screen. I was able to put it in download mode but not recovery and the phone would also charge. I removed the battery, tried to reboot but it just wouldn't boot past that screen. Upon reading on these forums about the potential issue, it sounded like the phone was softbricked so I tried to re-flash the stock rom that I downloaded from samware but Odin wasn't having any of it.
I tried multiple different PCs, Odin versions, USB cables and so on but it just kept failing. I eventually got fed up with trying to recover it and I just left it in storage. Today however, the wife has said she wants all the pictures off it so she can transfer them to her laptop so I got the Galaxy S2 out again and now it's dead. Won't turn on, won't charge, won't do anything. I've got a new battery but that won't charge either but I'm headed around a friend's later to charge it and see if that solves anything.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated :good:

Hi
Looks like your usb/charging Connector is broken.
Can be replaced if you are ready to spend money On an old device.
If your friend has a s2 try to connect it with your cable to your PC. If it works then it should be your usb Connector (having already a new battery)
But If you are able to enter (with loaded new battery) the recovery you can install philz cwm6 stock recovery with root and then flash a custom rom.
All files are zip files which you can copy on a micro SD card and can be installed from there without a PC.
So you have a working rom even with a broken Connector

Just want to add:
In case you manage to install philz Kernel try first to reboot stock-rom. If it does'nt work, i would install custom rom.

Hi, it happened to me 2-3 yrs ago. Try this:
_phone off (check)
_take the battery out
_plug the phone in
_ wait a few seconds then put the battery back in
_ immediately, press and hold the power button.
Sometimes the USB charge chip get stuck and this somewhat "resets" it.
Also worth checking, remove the battery first, then with a small brush or a nail check for dust layer inside the USB plug.. it won't solve your problem, but might cause a bad connection (even if the connector click in).
