Assalam o alaikum!
i've updated my Xperia Z1 C6903 A few days Ago but after completing update process,when i started my phone the phone screen was flashing in a "O" shaped pattern.
the flashing is less visible and sometimes vanished when the brightness is low but when i increase the brightness the flashing Increase and become more visible and irritating.
i've twice downgraded my device to fix this issue but same results No fuite.
Is it a Hardware problem or software problem?
I also have uploaded an attachment but my camera cant capture the Flashing on my screen because the flashing rate is very High Arround 30 Flashed in One Second and it is flashing constantly regardless of Conditions and Apps.
Any help? :crying:
any guidence?

Have just changed over to Global Generic 2.1 having tried both Nordic and UK Generic and have noticed something i didn't notice on the others.
If using an app such as Handcent or K-9 mail if I put my hand over the proximity sensor the screen dims slightly.
Not a big deal really but just curious as this didn't seem to happen on the other firmwares.
Anyone else on this or other firmwares notice this???

set yewr brightness to highest level nd lev the phone on home screen
nd w8 before the phone gets lock itself
before the phone gets lock. its screen autoadjust the lowest possible brightness it is a signal that the screen is gng to turn off
nd if yew always use ur selfphone in low brightness ul fink that there is sum problem in firmware or yewr cell screen
chillout there isnt any problemm

So I noticed not to long back that my phone has been changing brightness without the brightness bar moving. For instance I unlocked my phone moments ago and my screen was very bright. I went into my brightness settings and looked at the bar was set at 60%. As soon as I touch the brightness bar the screen dims back down to where it's supposed to be.
Now I am thinking this is purely a software issue but I am still a little worried. I have a Galaxy S3 Optus AU. It is running the LF2 firmware and is not rooted or modified. I have turned off auto brightness and power saving for the screen and this problem still persists.
Has anyone else suffered any such issues with there device?

check if u have activated the auto brightness

hmm the only thinng i can imagine on the go is...has been your battery been on a very low amount of percentage
because i think the power saving mode is changing the brightnes on its own
No the battery was at 90% when it happened last. I have factory reset the device to see if it fixes the issue.
OK the issue is still happening. Altho I have now noticed that it happens when unlocking the phone. If I re lock the phone and then unlock it. It's back to normal.
Well...even stock firmware is not protected to crash or do sth it shouldnt do by the way
so think about a clean install of the rom or a software update this might fix your problem
Hi, I have an xperia sola with ultimate rom v10 and experimental kernel v7. I just noticed this issue so I don't know if it's related to them or not.
I don't know quite how to describe it but I'll try. When my phone is booting (the sony logo) and when I'm in CWM, I see the ghost image of my phone's homescreen on top right and left. It's a silhouette of the time, the battery percentage and the notification icon. The image always changes to the last state when I experience it (for ex. if the time was 17.12 before I shut down, the silhouette says 17.12 too).
There is no ghost image whatsoever after the device boots though. I've carefully checked it only occurs when booting and when in CWM. Is this an issue or I'm just making a fuss over nothing?

I noticed your problem on my Sola with stock not rooted 2.3.7 GB! I can see the time and avast antivirus logo on the right and leftt top off the screen (where notification bar is),when my phone is booting or is charging powered off!Moreover on the left and right bottom of the screen there is a blurry small black "triagnle" (the edges of the screen).
Well seems like a problem of old lcd screens with lcd persistence image but maybe it is caused from moisture and low temperatures!Well mine disappeared some days ago,boot per boot it was disappearing a little bit til it was gone.I left it in dry environment and avoided using YT cause screen is always on!

I have a Sony Xperia Z2 in spanish updated with the last fabric updates. The problem appears sometimes when i recieve a phone call. The notification white led start to flash quickly and the phone is freezed.
Another problem that sometimes appears is when i unlock the phone the wallpaper is changed for a colored pixels. I have to restar the Z2 to solve the problems.
Do yo know how to solve these problems?

When I mobile switch on and lock screen this blue vertical lines are on the screen for 4-5 sec i found some videos on YouTube they said its software promlem or its heat prolem Plz any 1 solve this problem this is so annoying plz help?

This problem was occur from 6-7 months i m hard user of sony c5... also im going for sony gallary for update marshmallow 6.0 but this problem did not solve any idea about it?? ??
