Couple of problems. - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have 2 problems with my S2 (stock 4.1.2 rooted with CWM)
So theres 2 problems:
1.The first one is that all my apps are installed on the device memory instead of installing on the internal storage (USB Storage) , when I try to transfer it to sd card it says "unable to move app , not enough storage space" so I dont know what to do ..
*apps like link2sd dont load or just dont work ...
2. The second problem is that I using Chrome browser ... but when I press the icon there's a 1.5-2 second delay before really launching .. every other app launch just fine quickly only Chrome launch in delay ...
So thanks for any help and sorry for my english its not my native language

It seems like I cant edit my post ...
The chrome app launch in delay like it doesnt even get cached in the ram...

1. I'm not sure, perhaps you have to be rooted for using Link2SD successfully? I don't know.
2. I think this is normal, because Chrome is a very heavy app, like most browsers are. I also always have to wait 2 seconds when launching Firefox or even YouTube.

You can't just move the android_secure onto a new sd card and to a new rom. you need to use titanium backup. root and then get from market for free.

[Q] question about available RAM

hello!why on the specifications of neo says that there is a 512MB ram and we have available only 335MB??that is very sad....the ram is barely enough for the applications i use and most of the times it reaches the limit....if there was 512MB it would be all fine..

I think that's with storage for system apps incuded. you need to root your phone to use the other part.
i have my phone rooted.....what do you mean?can i do something to have more ram?the internal storage of the device is 380MB....the RAM is 335MB....

i think you can do something with app2sd+, but i don't know how...
You can use built in app2sd. Settings-applications-manage apps-choose some app and "move to sd"
Or if you are rooted simply delete bloatware and etc

maybe you didn't understand my question....I don't have the problem with the internal memory(cause I can move apps to SD)but with RAM....the applications I run simultaneously reach the ram to the limit and the side effect when that happens is that the phone becomes laggy because of restarting some applications to release ram...

If you are already rooted i can suppose only that:
1. Lookup your ALL apps, clean cashe and dalvik
2. Remove bloatware system/app
3. Move most importants apps to system/app folder
4.After. clean rom install you had about 60mb space in system/app partitiond. after cleaning about 100 no needed bloatware app you had in system/app partitions more 150+mb free spce.
5. REBOOT is sometime useful.
6. Dont use task killers, cashe cleaner 3rd part apps.
7.No need complain about so small ram, rom,memory...you had alot memory, ram etc.....USE IT RIGHT WAY.
8. Have nice day!
Cheers!

[Q] SGS3 Gallery & Swiftkey Errors-Help Needed

Guys ,
I am currently using WanamLite XXELK4 V5.0 as my daily driver for my International Galaxy s3. Lately i have been experiencing two very annoying problems with the gallery and swiftkey apps. When i try to open my gallery from either the camera or gallery app (and at times even quickpic for that matter!) i get an error saying there is not enough space and i need to delete other items which is ridiculous since i have about 10 gig on stock memory free (i don't have an external sd installed).Secondly my swiftkey says it cant load the language pack and when i try to redownload it fails. I am mentioning this because these two errors almost always occur together.
Factory resetting my phone when updated to the xxelk4 rom seemed to have resolved the issues but only temporarily as after two or so weeks the errors are back. When in this state i also get database errors when trying to view the pics from Quickpic and when i take pics with the stock camera app (or third party camera apps) it shoots but does not save the images and it appears to be a data/database corruption issue but i don't understand what could be causing it i have run a disk defrag app on my phone once or twice and i wonder if this could have caused some problems with the integrity of my internal storage.
I have tried clearing app data but this does not solve the problem and fixing permissions in recovery proves to be only a temporary solution.I am hoping there is some help for me out there my internet serached thus far havent yielded any effective solutions.HELP!

Did you get any answer?

facebook took lots of space on mobile

hi friends i have xperia E on my phone facebook works great without any problem but every time after install new updates it took more and more places on phone now has 143MB
is any solution how reduce this space cos i think that on this more than 100 mb is also previous installation of app ?? or what ?
thanks for help me
i took this app on sd card via link to sd but still is took lots of space.
The average app size of Facebook is 200MB. There is no way to reduce that. You can delete the data and cache, but the second you open it, it fills back up to 150-200MB.
You can try an alternative app, though I can't guarantee if that's safe or actually reduces the space requirements.

App uninstalls itself after reboot - NOT SD card related

Hi guys
I hope that one of you had this issue before and might be able to help me out.
To summarise: I am side loading a custom apk onto a Galaxy Tab E which works completely fine until the tablet is rebooted. After every reboot the app simply uninstalls itself - at least partly.
This means, after installing the app again, all the settings and configuration that has been done from within the app previously is still there. (there is no SD card installed in the tablet - internal storage only)
The app is called "mailchimp subscribe". It's old and has last been updated over 2 years ago but does exactly what I need it to do. Installing it from the GooglePlay store works completely fine of course and does not suffer this "uninstall" problem.
The problem I am having with it is that nearly the entire app is in English even though I selected German as the default language. Parts of the App actually appear in German but it seems to me that the guys at mailchimp just gave up on translating it quite quickly.
Since this app is so perfect for my use case however and no third party app really comes close to this, I thought I'm gonna be smart, extract the apk with apktool translate the app into German myself and then simply reassemble and install it.
Surprisingly this all worked on the first try. I now have a re-assembled apk with the exact same mailchimp-subsribe app but completely in German and it is working absolutely perfectly!
I just have this anoying problem now that I mentioned in the beginning which is that the app keeps uninstalling itself - or at least disappears in a strange way after every reboot.
Googling this problem leads to hundreds of threats with people having problems that their SD card doesn't get mounted fast enough or similar things, but my tablet doesn't even have an SD card installed. It's internal storage only!
This app will be the only one running on it (including one other one locking it into Kiosk mode) but the internal storage is more than enough for my purposes.
It would be really great if somebody could point me in the right direction or maybe come up with a solution that doesn't require me to extract and rebuild the original apk.
What I did yesterday is root the tablet because I thought if I install it straight from the play store (which does work without any hiccups) I can then maybe access the system files of the app and simply replace the string.xml (the language file) with my self made German version - but unfortunately the folder that file is stored in doesn't show up.....so I'm kind of out of ideas right now :-/
