Originally this was PACROM, but now I think continued development for RR takes priority based on user feedback. Thank you for your support! ​

Just fixed the bootloop issue! RR 5.5.6 works like a charm! Devs recommend a clean (not dirty install), but you can try dirty if you want! Just know it could break I have uploaded the new build to by Basketbuild (link above). For a full list of features look HERE

Nice job... Buttery smooth and everything works. Only issue I've seen is data occasionally disconnects and I need to toggle apn changer to reconnect (I think that's a CM issue?).

apn chANGER? is this a part of the rom or you do it manually? I havent flashed this rom before.

It's an app called Change APN. Seems to be a consistent problem so far on CM. I always have to toggle the APN settings to bring back data after disconnecting from WiFi or whenever I would try to reconnect data. I had posted a video in Grarak's thread if it proves useful visual of the issue.

I use an app called "change apn" from the play store. It allows you to toggle apn's to pick data back up.

I also flash the Virgin Mobile apn fix after flashing the ROM. I'm not sure if it's needed or not but I flash it any time I'm using a CM variant.

Universal Virgin Mobile APN Fix
For anyone having problems with data, please flash the fix mentioned HERE
To activate, turn on mobile data and in APN settings, select the 4G LTE option

Would anyone here be interested in a regularly maintained Resurrection Remix (5.1.1) build for the A5? I'm running Resurrection-Remix-LP-5.5.4 right now. Should I post this port also or just Pac-Rom?

I think, and I am 95.8725% sure, that PAC-ROM and Resurrection Remix and CM12.1 in my basketbuild support all Desire 816 variants. If you could
1. First do a backup of your current rom just in case. In the event they don't work just reboot back to recovery and restore your backup
2. Flash Pac-Rom, RR, or CM12.1 that I have posted and tell me if it works, I would be extremely grateful

I just flashed this on my a5-chl, with the apn fix and changer app. working great so far! Would love to try any other ROMs you post also! I can do some limied testing also if you need

I would totally be interested! RR was my favorite Rom for this phone. My favorite Rom of all time is DirtyUnicorn Rom, but RR is a close second!
