dear whatsapp service after 3 or 4 updates you do not install will stop supporting your older app with the service, so if you do not update it will stop working as a messenger, the new whatsapp app has a far better ui, very much eye catcher, is much faster and much bug free and richer in features
Yes
Now whatsaap comes with lots of new features it also include delete button , now you can easily deactivate whatsaap from your mobile phone.
same problem

thats true but i understand his problem cause it gets to me all the time..im using the app on a non gsm tf300t and the newer app doesnt work..so everytime i start it i get that annoying notification..i definitely need help with that.I know its an old thread and all but i still have this problem.
I know, this is an older thread, but it fits to my question.
Is there a way to disable the automatic Update check in Whatsapp Plus ?
There are to much updates for things which are uninteresting for me. I just need the stealth mode
My Partner uses the whatsapp stock version, so i know about new and important updates if the Playstore Version got Updated.
Greetings chris
do anyone know hoe to hack whatssapp
do anyone know hoe to hack whatssapp?
i have read several post but seems like they are not going to work
Hi,
I was installed whatsapp plus 6.35d now if i try to update update new version installed succesfully 6.43 with double blue tick version but in setting my version is still 6.35d. I uninstalled clean dalvik and cache reboot nothing helps
What may be the problem?
Hi all!
I have a Redmi Note 3 Pro running global ROM 7.1.8.0 and I am having issues with Spotify. It closes when it's running in the background. If I only open Spotify and don't use any other apps, it works fine. I have tried locking the Spotify apk but it didn't help.
Any suggestion is welcome! Thanks!
Same as mine
My Redmi Note 3 with v7.2.3.0 has similar problem, TuneIn radio always stops in the background. Any idea how to avoid this happen?

I had the same problem with practically every app that played background audio. Your solution worked perfectly, thanks.
FYI, later i tried changing Memory optimization setting to Low instead of Off and that turned out to be enough to solve the problem but prevented interface lags here and there.
reboot will erase apps and info?
Hi guys!
Thanks for this tip, really helpful to solve this annoying problem. My question is about the 'Reboot' process.
Is this going to erase all the apps, photos, contacts, etc. in the phone? or it's just going to override the setup of the memory optimization keeping the rest of the setup the same. I don't want to lose all the things I have already.
Looking forward to have your response
Thanks in advance.

It's just a simple reboot, the same as turning your phone off and on again. Your data and apps are safe
Thanks a lot for the quick response!
Just done and it works perfectly
I did turn off memory optimization and it did not help me. Spotify getting closed automatically after few minutes probably after 5-7 minutes during the screen lock. Please help.
If you don't want to turn off Ram Opti, go to the Security app, under Battery, you can setup battery mode for every apps. Set up spotify to 'no battery optimization'.

You haven't the built-in Battery Saver enabled ? Are you using any task killer apps or battery saver ? (Greenify for example)
Excelent!
Works perfectly!
Thanks!:good:
I think you should upgrade to miui 8.5 because I didnt have problem in that version
HEY FOLKS!
I'm currently running a cm13 nightly on my OPX but have been plagued with the infamous mobile radio active bug, which has crippled my battery life. After looking for fixes and talking to my developer friend, I have concluded that the only way to avoid this is to revert back to a KitKat ROM. (yes, I have tried the xposed module fix).
Does anyone know if a KitKat ROM has been made for the OPX?
Please help me out because I want good battery life back .
(I get an average of 4 hours SOT on Wi-Fi and about 2 hours SOT on LTE)
The primary culprits are google play services and fb messenger.
Thanks in advance

First of all it is highly difficult and probably impossible. Second, there is no point of it. It leaves device prone to various security vulnerabilities, leave on some optimization and doze. Some apps might not work in future because of end of support.
Google is not admitting google play service and mobile radio active bug, it continues from lollipop to marshmallow and most likely in nougat. It almost kills battery life in mobile data. Even if someone starts development, it would be huge pain with very little to gain.

No kitkat for opx, since no sources were released. If you want a good phone that supports kitkat, buy a refurbished nexus 5, or lg g2.
As long as you turn mobile data off you wont be affected by the bug. Why not use something like leandroid to turn off mobile data after "x" time of the screen being off? It also has the ability to turn it on and off every x time if im not mistaken (so you get notifications). It is not ideal, but it is a good workaround probably (i dont use it because i only use mobile data ocasionally and turn it off after using it so im not affected)

In settings-security-apps with usage turn both off. Turn off all Google sync (except mail.) And I go a far as turning automatic update and such in play store settings. Haven't had an issues since. With messenger skip adding phone number and contacts.

That sounds like a good solution. Also found an app named "force doze" which disregards some of the senses and will allow you to doze straight away.
Thanks guys.

force doze probably does not fix that bug. It also may introduce new bugs, i wouldnt advise to use that app yet. Use doze editor instead
Without the availability or customs roms and kernels, are there any reasons to root a Galaxy Tab S3? Which bloatware have you uninstalled in your GTS3 after rooting?
I normally install custom roms and kernels for the improved battery life and overall performance improvement that many of these roms offer.

I rooted for cf.lumen but after freezing a lot of apps using sd maid, my screen on time is 10 hours with wifi always on and minimal brightness to still see the screen. Although i didnt check my screen on time before i froze all those apps...

I agree, I went back to not rooted and pray for OTA updates, even it's naive
If i ever going to root, one of the main factor would be for GMD gestures. Couple of finger swipes to close apps, lock screen, switch apps adds tremendous amount of button freedom and control.
I'm going to rooting to get complete control of memory (internal and SD) and app authorizations...

Mattered a lot more to me when Android was a lot less mature. Nowadays, Marshmallow is pretty solid. Add in Macrodroid or Tasker and call it a day. And Nova supports gestures.

We can disable bloatware with ADB?
I use Netflix on this, so root isn't worth the trouble to get Netflix working.

Not with ADB. You'll need an app like titanium backup or adaway for ad blocking. But both need root. But you're correct, getting netflix to work is a little bit of a pita.

Another option: I'm using Disconnect Pro and it seems to work fine. It has to be sideloaded though.
I rooted my Tab S3 for 4 main reasons:
1. Adaway
2. Viper and Dolby Atmos and boost sound the way I like it (and its big imrovement)
3. OGyoutube
4. to backup and restore with TWRP and Titanium

Get a number from Google Voice. Then install Hangouts and Hangouts Dialer. Link Hangouts to your Google Voice number. You can text and make/receive calls with this combo. Working here for me.

Including the model# of your device is helpful to get proper direction.
If you have the SM-T820/825, this thread pertains to Root/Recovery (TWRP) for the devices I mentioned. If you have one of the devices, read the thread before asking questions:

I got tab s3 days ago. It ran android 9 but since it was so laggy I decided to go back to Oreo but it does not seem to help. It is even laggy when I pull down the status bar, like a phone with 2gb of ram in 2019. I tried a hard reset, revert back to Oreo and wipe /cache in default recovery but nothing helps. Any suggestions for me guys I don't know what's happening with my tablet. Plus that Knox counter has not been tripped yet, Antutu score is 136594 (I find it normal) and it's still water-resistant. Thank you
Yes, this tablet lags as hell. I sold it due to this problem
It's like that since the Pie update. I'm considering a rollback or perhaps a custom ROM if available. Some research must be done. Very disappointing. :/
Install galaxy labs and app booster plugin. It will optimize the apps and your tab forsure function better.

Finally my tab s3 becomes snappier! but dont get me wrong lags still there but lessen a bit... stock andriod Pie.... wanna say thanks buddy! just bought this at amazon 3 days ago for $300.. dont know if ill exchange it for s4 add $200 but thats too much i think.
Interesting, my tab s3 lags a lot too. I originally got this for study (Paramedic school) and for jogging with. Hasn't quite worked out for me yet, but I'm hoping sai444's input will help here. Maybe a rollback too? Still have to research what Galaxy labs an d app booster are lol.
hmmmm, are you sure (as of Nov 2019) that this isn't just the built in device care? My device care says 100% optimised but I know that to be a bit false. Sure the device is relatively healthy but like this title suggests it behaves more like a device with 2GB. I guess a factory reset (again) and just limit the apps I use.
I installed Galaxy Labs from APK Mirror to my Tab S3 and then tried clicking on App Booster. It says the content is not compatible with my tablet. The same message is displayed when I tried the other options.
Anyone else encounter this?

Please could you detail the process using titaniumB? My Tab S3 constantly freezes/lags and returns "System UI is not responding-Close or wait (as options)". It's so frustrating.
What apps are considered bloatware??
Well, in TB you have the option to froze any app, if something is broken you can unfroze.
There are others apps that can do this too.
You can search for lists in the internet of bloatware in samsung devices, but you can start searching in the TB for samsung, then all the samsung stuff will be shown, then you can start freezing.
Freeze a few things(try to search what that package is) then restart. If something is wrong unfroze some, reboot and check.
It takes time.
Get root and set swappiness to 0. If you want to get high performancemance at the expense of battery set governor to performance. Trust me, it's worth it
