Did you have a plan with 4G/LTE?
Check your settings in Settings - Mobile networks - Network mode if LTE is active
Yes i have a plan with 4g active. And 4g is activated too in settings. Something else? I tried different sim cards that have 4g and on other devices like lg g flex or g4 worked.

I recently got an unlocked Verizon Galaxy S4 to use with T-Mobile. I live in an area that gets HSPA+ and LTE 4G. I have manually configured my APN settings to recognize T-Mobile, but I can only get an Edge network connection. I was wondering if anybody could help me fix this problem, because this should work. I even have 4.3 installed, which unlocked an extra 4G band.

Hi there, i was able to get one of these from a local walmart for about $150 bucks, its a Verizon Prepaid samsung Galaxy S4 i545PP i545ppvruaoh7 is the build, and it comes with lolipop.
the reason why i bought is is because according to http://willmyphonework.net/
this phone was supposed to support 4G LTE Band4-AWS , but it does not!
it sure comes unlocked, i can put any sim card and i get signal, i get 2g, 3g, H, H+
I tried different sim cards and the best it can do is H+ on all of them.
I tried changing it to global, and also changing it to LTE GSM etc on the android menu but i have no luck.
Is there any way to enable the 4G on this phone? I live in a contry where all carriers use the same 3G and 4G that At&T uses. So here all At&T phones got 2g, 3g,and 4g out of the box. And i thought this verizon phone supported 4G Band4.

Are you sure ATT uses band 4 (AWS - 1700/2100) in your area? ATT uses a number of different LTE bands in different areas, and the Verizon S4 (prepaid or not) only supports band 4.
im sure my carrier uses same band as At&T, 100% positive that my carrier uses Band 4.
reason is because i also bought two other phones, a moto E At&T gophone and i unlocked it and i got 4G icon at first boot with the carrier here.
but verizon galaxy S4 prepaid is different, i canĀ“t get more than H+, i have never seen the 4G icon
and i dont think there is a hack for it to enable all bands
Hi,
I recently purchased a XT1527 - AT&T go phone and it was working well in USA as I got 4G signals all over.
I am now back to India using Idea network, the phone gives me only 2g network
I even tried *#*#4636#*#* and set the preferred network to
a) WCDMA only - couldn't find any network
b) LTE only - gives me only 2G
c)LTE/WCDMA - got only 2g
I also don't see the preferred network options under
Settings->wirless and networks->more option
how to resolve this issue?
Att model may not have the radio bands you need to get anything higher than 2g. Sounds like your issue with me.

The North American models only have the 3G/4G bands for North American networks. You'll only get 2G internationally.
One of my friend gave samsung s6 edge to me. It is 9250 version. In the mobile network it shows only 3g and 4g and no lte hspa wcdma etc to choose.
Is there any way I can use this phone in canada.
Please suggest

Hello all,
Just bought a Samsung Galaxy S9+ dual sim (SM-G965F/DS) (G965FXXS7GSJ3) international model. Since I inserted my T-Mobile sim card I can only get the 4G signal and no LTE (also tried Verizon sim card and the same result). Speed test on 4G with a few different location (Northwest) and the result from 1.00mbps - 22 mbps max. I online chat with Samsung support and found out that USA don't support dual-sim and that's the reason I don't get the LTE service.
Is there a custom ROM or a way to flash my phone so that I can use the LTE service on my phone?
Thanks

Sorry but whoever told you they don't support DS sounds like BS to me, the carrier only see the phone signal, they don't know if it's coming from a single sim, dual sim or multi sim gateway device.
If you go into.....
settings --> connections --> mobile networks
and make sure both sims are set for LTE
1- 4G/LTE are the same. LTE/4G icon changes depending on ROM and carrier.
2- Samsung agent has no idea. It's a person on a generic building in India contracted by Samsung most probably.
If you own a dual sim s9+ you can get both modems/sims to work on 4G/LTE even at the same time.
If you see 4G you are working on LTE. Then what speed you get it depends on several factors, not just the phone or signal
