Completely out of the blue, the recent apps soft key doesn't work anymore. It lights up when I click the back button on the other side, but it doesn't respond to any clicks. Nothing has been changed on phone recently to cause this.
Already wiped cache partition, it did not solve issue.
Anyone having this issue and knows a fix?
Am I the only unlucky soul to have encountered this issue?!
Try to format data factory reset

I have the same problem. Can't find a fix but my phone is slowing down due to all the apps open that I cannot close.

I have updated my Z2 to Lollipop few months ago. I found out that after 2 weeks, the left keypad could not be used, I could not press on "1", "Q". Now I have to one-hand keypad.
Yesterday, another issue happened. The android buttons are not responsive, the "back", "home" and "multitask" button do not react to me at all. I have to make the screen landscape if I need to use those buttons.
But when I am on lock screen, the "call", "unlock" and "camera" button is responsive. I did factory reset and wipe cache but still not helping. I asked some friends but most people say that it's the digitizer problem because none of them experience these before. I am not sure about this, but there are no dead pixels, no dropping at all. The age of the phone is 1 year. Everything was fine when I am on 4.4.4, all went wrong after I updated.
What can I do to fix this?

Hey, i have a problem with my phone not being able to be waked up with pressing the hard key or dubbletapping on the screen. When i press the power button to wake it up, the soft-keys lights up, but not the screen. It stays completely dark. The only way for me to access my phone, is to force shutdown by holding down the powerbutton. It started like 2 days ago, but i thought; that won't be a problem. I'll just force a shutdown when it happens. But today i revived a phone call, but i wasn't able to pick up the phone, because my screen turned dark. Again softkeys turned on but not the screen.
Using a Oneplus One, with the latest CM12.1 nightlies (That might be the problem), rooted, twrp, and a bunch of xposed modules.

Or maybe it is Xposed that causing the issue. Are you using the latest Xposed version (v75)? If yes, try to uninstall Xposed through recovery and check whether the issue still persists. Otherwise update to the latest Xposed version and check again.
If Xposed isn't the culprit, revert back to an older nightly version of CM12.1 which is known to work without issues and wait for a new nightly or - even better - a stable release.

Problem solved
It seems like it was the xposed module "YouTube background play" that caused the problem. Simply disabling it, made my phone work as normal. Still don't see how a module for YouTube can cause so much damage..
Thanks for the help

Hi folks,
i got a LG L3 II E430 and rooted it. It worked great for some days, but now it just turned off and wont turn on again. When i replace the battery and start, the home button lights in different colours, after a while it stops, the screen is on but black, the menu and back button react but there is no sign of a function.
When i hard reset it (battery out, then starting with home and Vol- button pressed), the same happens. After some times, the screen had a few thin vertical stripes and you could JUST guess that the LG-symbol is there when starting.
Before all that, i just hat titanium backup save Data and apps and installed Xposed framework and xprivacy. I had both (xposed and xprivacy) installed a couple of days before all that and had no problem.
Does anyone know what happend or even better has an idea what i could do to save the phone?
thanks in advance,
Simon
EDIT: After a couple of tries, the hard reset worked!
Hi again,
after i managed to hard reset the phone, i did not reinstall Xprivacy or Greenify. It worked for 3 days, but now the screen turned black again. Sometimes there were some very thin vertical lines in some places.
It seemed to work, because the menu and back button lighted up when i touched them. also i could shut down the phone when staying on the power on button for a long time.
After 3 restarts, this time the phone managed to wakeup again, just as normal.
Does anybody know what the problem might be, or if there is a way to check a failure log or something like that? To me, it looks like a hardware problem. In that case, i could send it back since i bought it a week ago..
I got Kingroot and Titanium Backup Pro installed, if that helps.
Thanks a lot, Simon
Don't know why, but every few seconds or so the phone vibrates when I'm talking on the phone. It isn't any sort of pattern and I'm not accidentally touching the screen (no proximity issue). Is anyone else experiecing something like this? I'm on the stock ROM.
Yes, i'm experiencing same issue on stock rom. I think it's an oxygen bug.

it's double tap to wake, phone doesn't turn off the feature when the phone turns off the screen during phone calls
[EDIT] it is a bug.
After changing the scale of the icons in the experimental features the screen went black and only shows a blinking cursor. I panic a little because I think the DPI touch the kernel and that's a delicated thing.
When restarting and past the post, the blinking cursor re-apear and stuck there forever and no grub shows up :crying:.
Now I can't do anything, no shift key or any other methods seems to work to load some king of menu to fix the boot.
Any help??
Thx
