12 hour format modification on Z2 systemui - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,
As you all know status bar clock on latest xperia devices doesn't show AM/PM even when the 24 hour format time has been deselected. In Samsung, it was showing. I tried to find more information on this and found that on samsung systemui, there is a parameter 12hourformat on systemui.clock.policy to modify the format string. I tried to find that in Z2 systemui. But couldn't find. Can anybody tell me how can it be done without using xposed? I want to show am/pm on statusbar clock.
Thanks

Nevermind.
I did that myself by following the guide posted here :

Now it works!!

[Q] Trying to modify 4.0.4 notification screen - Don't know names of items

I have a Verizon LG Lucid with stock 4.0.4 on it. Here:imgur.com/Igb4l you can see my notification screen with a nice red box drawn around the items I would like to disable. However, before I can disable such items I need to know what they are called. I have tried every combination of words I can think of to google search but not no avail.
So here's what I need to know:
1. What are these items called?
2. Are they contained within the software of LG, Verizon, or stock Android?
3. Where would be a good topic to begin researching now that I know what's what?
Edit: I think the key here lies within systemUI.apk. I will investigate that.
Edit: I learned a lot about APK's and modifying them. Currently all I've been able to do is make the status bar disappear. Maybe it isn't actually in systemui...
Edit: Success! I finally got the wifi notification bar to "go away" by setting its height to 0.0 in SystemUI>res>layout>wifi_onetouch_layout.xml as seen in a thread about hiding the music player. A few problems I ran into: I had to switch the aapt that comes with apktool with aapt from the android SDK to build without errors. After it was built I had to copy META -INF and AndroidManifest from the vanilla SystemUI.apk then zipalign it. I used a root file manager on the phone to move and rename everything.

[MOD]Quicksettings 4.1.2 [Development]

Hey guys, its been alot time since i've been here had to take some time off due to personal reasons.Sorry i didnt reply to all of your messages about some of my mods.
So i was fed up as the s3 got the 4.1.2 update before us,so i started to port the quicksettings feature for our galaxy note2.
**Logs**
-SystemUI is now working for Note2,you can notice that in the toggles panel there is the multi window feature which can be turned on and off.
(trying to edit settings.apk but i seem to be unsuccesful, also tried to just copy settings.apk from s3 to enable editing of quicksettings but force closes..so am still trying to figure that part out and how the whole process works)
Uploading systemUI.apk for testing.. already tested on my note2 with LJA and works!
will add notification panel settings manually in settings apk need someone to decomplie LJA Settings apk for me,PM me if anyone can help i keep getting error when decompiling apk, seem to be a problem with my apktool.
Cheers

[Q] 1 font of many not loading on 4.4

Hi all,
We've got several custom fonts in the game I'm working on (All the fonts are custom) but on 4.4 only one of them is failing to work. Nothing has changed with this font in well over a year and stop working on 4.4 (confirmed on a Nexus 5 and Nexus 10).
The font is being loaded the exact same way as all the other fonts in the game (Typeface.createFromFile("xyz")) but the OS is returning the default font (Roboto) and giving no indication as to why it's not loading our font.
Does anyone know how to debug why Android isn't loading our font? Nothing is being printed out into logcat and I can't see anything in the documentation that says what would cause the fonts to fail. All the fonts in the game are OTF and since it's a licenced font we can't modify the font into TTF and I can't post the font here if anyone wanted to see it for debugging purposes.

[Q] remove second signal icon on mtk6592

hi there,
i am new in cooking roms and i have a problem with the second gsm icon. i have a doogee dagger dg550 mtk6592 dual sim handy and i want to remove the second item if there is no second sim card inserted. i found a lot guides but no one fits for my problem. so i found another rom in which the icon is disabled (Lakandroid). i copied the SystemUI.apk out there and pasted it in my rom. this removed the icon but parts of the statusbar changed to yellow...
i didnt know where the the difference between the two versions is. there exactly for the same device (display is in xhdmi-format). can soneone help me please to find the error? i added the two SystemUI.apk's to the thread. SystemUIdani is my file and SystemUIlankan is the file from the other rom without the icon.

Change Font Android System

Hi.
I have been in this forum for a short time and since I'm so big I can not find where to write my question, so I've decided to write here if someone sees that it is not the right place to tell me.
I've been wanting to change the source of my android root, I've tried several applications ifont, Hifont, fontster ..., but none of them change the source completely, all the phone.
I have another mobile with xioami in which with the application "
MIUI Custom Font Installer "I change all the source of the system, status bar, settings, applications and everything, even when I make a storie with instagram the letters of the story are also with that source, there is some application or method to do that in a xperia z2?
Thank you so much
A greeting!
