I would like to know what to look for in chargers and what brands have the best reputation.
This is what I'm looking at so far http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/MIANN1YPPDR5/ref=topnav_lists_2

I'm looking to buy a second battery for my Note 3, but I don't want to get one in an extended case. I'm looking for one that fits inside the standard case. Don't need wireless charging or anything like that, just a standard battery.
I found this one searching the forum from Amazon. Is that about as good as I am going to find? Or are there better options?
I just bought the anker one from amazon. I've trusted their batteries in the past. That's another good option.
Follow up question here:
If I'm going to go with a battery in the standard case, would it be better to just get an extra official Samsung battery? What's the advantages/disadvantages of going with a 3rd party over Samsung?
I've always bought hyperion. They are great.

If you have the money to burn you know that samsung oem batteries will work and work well.
For a lesser price Anker, RAVPower, Hyperion, etc. can be found for much lower prices with good return policies via Amazon or other reputable sites and sellers.
Does anyone know of one of these extended batteries that is also Qi compatible (wireless charging) and fits in the original case?
I have been waiting for a battery/charger set from a reputable company to become available. It looks like TrendOn is the first. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LZWPY9O?psc=1 I have never used this brand, but they have a lot of good reviews on Amazon so I am pretty confident that they will work good.
I order mine from there
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-LG-.../131250478881?ssPageName=ADME:L:eek:U:US:3160
It's $57.50
The battery has all Korean characters.
Let us know how it works. And what reviews were you talking about. Reviews on their other products?
Give us your feedback bro
looked around amazon for this brand "trendOn" looks like they have pretty mixed reviews with note 3 and s5 users...
I will certainly let you know how they work. It seems like with the reviews they are mostly real positive. With a few getting bad batteries, in which case I will just return them. And some of the bad reviews are about the charger which we all know is a cheap charger. But all in all, they have more than 4 stars so it is a pretty safe bet that they will be alright. And I get 2 batteries and a charger for less than one oem battery. Plus, it seems that these companies aren't that concerned about how soon they get their batteries to market so I feel good that I bought from the first company to have a good set at a decent price.
Alright, I have had these batteries for a couple of days and they work great. They seem to be as good as any other including the LG batteries. Maybe better. The charger is slow but is better quality than I am used to when buying these sets and it certainly charges fast enough. It charges at 600mA. Someone else put up an unboxing video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gr5VHHCeleY I'm really glad I bought this brand. I doubt there will be any better and they deserve to be rewarded for being first to market. I think Zerolemon said end of September, come on.
Edit: The current price on Amazon is $70. I'm not sure what that is about, cause I got mine for $30.
I'm buying new battery via Ebay (I would like to order it from EU). Any good and cheep links?
Always a fan of the MPJ ones. "MPJ note 3" should bring them up on ebay.
Around 10-20% more life than the stock, a lot cheaper, and in my experience over 3 years, no major drop in efficiency over time.
I also like their 8000mah extended battery.
People also like the Mugen ones, but they're pricey, and naturally official ones are great, if you find a good deal.
Mugen is overpriced yes...
Hm I'm lookig at MJP ones but they are not cheap either.... On ebay for about 25$.. any cheaper alternatives?

Would you know how good are these with NFC and also QI wireless charging?
I cant answer on NFC (but will endeavour to check).
Funnily enough I've spent the last month trying to find a QI add on that will work with the battery, but none of them are flexible enough to work around for the battery, so that's a no go I'm afraid. If I was better with solders and copper wire it would be a doable, but there's no easy answer in that I'm afraid.

cheers
Zero lemon. 10000 mah. But it's heavy and bulky
Does anybody know how much an 8000mah battery costs? Thanks in advance!
Looks to be tons of cables on Amazon. Looking for one or two reliable cables to purchase so I have spare or two just in case.
Looking for some good feedback on the best choice.
Thanks,
Mark
I bought a 6' tronsmart cable and so far it has been great.
I see a bunch of 3rd part wall chargers. What gives? Are they faster / better? If so, what are the best?
Or is it the same as Samsung's provided one?
Third party chargers are typically cheaper than OEM. Should perform the same, though.
They vary In quality. Some are just as fast, some are slower.
If you need a spare charger then if often more economical to buy 3rd party. Anker are a good quality brand that are fairly priced.

It is not about people wanting a different one, it is about people wanting extra ones and not wanting to pay the OEM price.
