Hi, I do not know what to do. The system starts when I press "Start" from the bootloader.
Besides this, when I try to flash a stock rom I get this message:
"(bootloader) Preflash validation failed
FAILED (remote failure)"

Download a custom rom like CyanogenMod & flash it.
Phone is completely stock!
Cant boot into system or recovery only fastboot !
Cant flash the stock image

Any soltion other than service centre ?
Umm try flashing twrp and install a custom Rom?

Hello, I'm trying to flash stock firmware on the Moto E, Model number is XT1023, and my device won't boot. I unlocked the bootloader, flashed the software, but it's still showing that bootloader warning screen and not booting to OS. I was wondering if this had anything to do with it. When I tried to flash the gpt.bin it cam back with an error saying preflash validation failed. But it's weird because the bootloader's unlocked already.

Long story short, I managed to brick my Moto G when it was updated a rooted SuperSU app, by rebooting it when it became non-responsive.
At first after this, I couldn't get it to boot into TWRP, just fastboot. No factory reset, either.
Now, I can force it into TWRP, but still can't flash stock firmware, or factory reset.
When flashing stock firmware, it fails on the first command
Code:
mfastboot flash partition gpt.bin
With a
(bootloader) Preflash validation failed
FAILED (remote failure)
error, or something very similar. I can't remember the exact wording.
Is there anything I can do?
i've been using RR ROM for a week, but had some issues, so i decided to go back to stock firmware and lock bootloader again.
i've been trying to flash some firmwares found here and on the web for Moto Z but i get everytime some error about downgrade etc.
now i'm on lineageos official nightly, because i didnt find any flashable stock firmware.
i assume that i must use the latest 7.1.1 European firmware. But i can't findt it anywhere.
Search for retbr firmware, flash it, then get the first update from a tool in this forum. After that first manual update you can update normally.

Download latest retus firmware, e.g. from here:

In your phone settings it will show up as reteu and you can do ota updates without restrictions.

First you flash a stock ROM (skip gpt and bootloader updates).
Then use this tool to get the first update (if no update is found with stock ROM):

After you downloaded the first update, reboot to recovery (e.g. adb reboot recovery), tap on power button while holding vol_up and the menu appears. Select update over adb (or something like this) connect the phone and do adb sideload updatefile.zip
