I have seen that Note 5 includes a feature that brings a black screen to write on it right when the Spen is taken. I would like to know (first) the name of this feature if it has any, and if there is any port of it to Note 4. Do you know anything about it?
there is no port yet, i forgot what it's called, maybe simply snote, bc its a standard feature on the note 5, may expect it with a note5 rom port

Okay i did so, but it does not appear when i take out the S-pen. What should I do to make it appear?

Im in 5.0.2 and its working in 5.0.1. . Just try to scan the link maybe there is a solution to 5.1.1

there isn't to many downloadable mods out there at this time, I'm sure it's because it's still fairly new
among the mods i usually like to add to my phone that i have had to make on my own is a Launcher mod
i usually have it setup as a 4X5 grid size, page indicators at the bottom & no wallpaper scrolling
I don't know how to mod apks but i read a tutorial on how to do it and as i looked for the SecLaucher3.apk file on my phone it was nowhere to be found
please let me know if you know where it is or if your willing to help with the apk modding

Decompile it first using apktool or something like it then you can edit the png or the value files in /values of the APK. I'm not going to explain all this in this thread, but there are multiple tutorials on how to decompile apks and mod them.
Hi, I'm developing a Samsung S5 port for the Note 3 and would love it if someone of you with an S tab could send me the following files (is has to be from a deodexed rom).

I did not ask for an s5 rom. He doesn't have those features im seeking to port over. I need those files from the S TAB. That's why I've posted it here. Thanks anyway.

Np mate Thank you. I'm trying to make a 100% finished rom with everything in it. Directpeninput is not working in any s5 rom I know of. That's why I want the files.
if you mean the S Pen then on his rom you get all the S5 rom and my S Pen works perfetcly

ok last time i will try and help promise
here is a link to a deodexed rom in progress you should be able to download and grab what you need. it is from the latest build of S 10.5 USA
I know this can be achieved by replacing images in Systemui.apk. But that's a heck of work and last time when I tried that, Touchwiz started showing errors. Even after replacing the backed-up Systemui.apk errors wouldn't stop. Therefore I had to re-flash stock Rom.
This could be achieved by Xposed, which apparently isn't compatible with Samsung ROMS ATM. So I was wondering, if there's any other way to change status bar icons?

I changes as SM-G935 AND SM-G930 both didn't work.
If it is working in your devise share some screen shot..
I entered SM-G930F and/or SM-G935F and it works, but not many apps available at the moment!
