Swapping is something Iike. U can swap your internal memory with external memory. To do this u need root access in your Android phone.

Hi all, first post here after watching the forum for a long while now.
I got a brazilian galaxy s3, rooted it and installed Swapper for root.
The problem is that the app can't see my SD card - a 32 gb one. I can see it in 'My files', and all of its contents, but the app can't.
I'd like to create the swap file in there since it has lots of free space, while my internal memory, which the app can see, is almost full.
I am using stock rom, 4.1.2.
Thanks in advance.
On play it says you need to usr a kernel with swap support. Are you?

Thanks for the quick response.
As I said, I am using stock rom. I believe it supports swap as I can create the swap file in the internal memory.
It just doesn't see the external SD card - or is not giving me the option to select it.
There's no swap support in the stock kernel. A swap file is just a file. It doesn't become swap until later. You can create files without swap support

So that means it will create the swap file, but it wont really "swap" the memory?
The only solution for that would be to install a custom ROM?
Thank you.
its probably best to discuss with the app dev. But a kernel like perseus or siyah may have the support you require

there is nothing yet?
I want to know too.
As I know, Marshmallow has this feature built-in. I haven't tried any manual way for this.
anyone tried using int2ext or swapping in moto e?
according to the search results ive seen its difficult to use the method to swap sd as internel
but did anyone tried using int2ext? i cant do it since my sd is too much slow i need to wait till i get a new one
thanks in advance
MOTO E has enough Internal storage for App Installation.
I didn't find any working method in our thread for int2ext
Yeah but one my friend need to download large games which can't be installed so I am asking I think HTC pico users use int2ext may be we can get it working

I'm applying 2 methods successfully running games like Asphalt 8 with 1.4GB data packages.
The one is applying link2sd-app and creating a 2nd partition on SD-Card.
The other is applying foldermount-app and linking folders from internal SD-Card to external SD-Card.
Both work fine on rooted StockROM.

Yup HTC pico uses inr2ext+ for memory...
But that kitkat is customized such that even if you download any files it directly goes to sd card...
Using pico too...
I think its bcz of legacy drivers...
But yeah.. If someone try to install any memory script would b good..
I am just waiting for my SD card to be delivered the current one is too slow
