help O+ 8.92 custom recovery and rom
Good day,
I'm new here and I wanted to port a custom rom on my O+8.92 i already have a CWM 5.0.4 installed and tried to port a custom rom with the same chipset MT6582 and android version 4.2.2 with kernel 3.4.5 but it does't work error says "installation aborted".
Can someone guide me on porting custom rom on my phone? Thanks in advance
by the way found a custom recovery on other site because my phone is not on the list of CWM / TWRP on Rom recovery.
Hi I have flashed mine using SP flashtool and now it does not boot and only has a red light when charging. It can still be read by SP Flashtool. Can someone help?

Here I finally posted this thred after trying many root method like king apk,Kongo apk,drama,I or v root, both version PC and mobile and many more but failed and also tried to find port guide for twrp for mt6735 not here

i just need CWM recovery or TWRP if yes i can help u out ..... as i am not a developer i knw basics about this pohone i just unlocked boot loader and now what i need is just CWM or TWRP to flash it and root the phone

Porting a custom recovery and Flashing SuperUser.zip is the only method to root newer MTK chipset devices.
For that provide me your Stock recovery.img

Hi Dude,I bought Intex Aqua trend Trend 4g about a year ago, and it felt so bad this mobile have no custom recovery and ROM,though I managed to root the aqua trend after several trials.What I actually did is flashing the firmware file by removing recovery.img file from the firmware file in sp flash tools, then i rooted my phone by using kingo root software by using pc.After all I rooted my phone i am waiting for custom recoveries and ROMS for this mobile.And hope XDA developers will help Aqua trend users to upgrade there mobile into cyanogen mod.Thank you.And dude get your stock recovery from firmwarefile.com

But TRUST ME, yesterday i tried KINGO v3.0 APK.,,
Cant say about your location, but it did work to me,
LOCATION - INDIA, I dont know weather it has same ROM all over or diff. for india.

Do u remember me that i asked for Custom recovry for intex aqua trend phone ... i guess u dont but u told me u can port a Custom recovery for me if i provide you my stock recovery .. and here it is and i request u to help me at any cost today i am really in need of this help .. i wish u wud help

I'm glad to be here! I would ask help for my mobile.
I've got a Zte star s2002 (Zte star 1) android 4.4.2 kernel zte s202v1.00b12
It's a nice mobile but it's full of bloatware and I'd like to install a different rom... I'd try the MIUI 6.4.8 (MIUI7)
but when I try to install the update.zip file I've got an “Signature verification failed” error.
I've seen that a workaround could be to install the TWRP but the zte star s2002 isn't supported...
I was wondering if someone could help me to solve this deadlock, please.

I dont think there is any other way, cwm or twrp are the options as far as i know. Sorry.
