A couple weeks ago I had received a new smartphone as a gift from my girlfriend, its a POSH Revel Pro x510a.
I started using it, i have it rooted thanks to Kingroot and i installed some modules to make it look better and make it run faster as i usually do to all my smartphones. Anyways, the experience with it started getting some lags and some apps crash unfortunately and stops working or just have to be restarted.
Without talking about that, i want to port Android 5 to it, but i'm not a programer so i cant do it, i dont know how to do it. So all i want it's that. If somebody knows a rom that could be ported to it and can do that process, i'll be happy and for sure i can test all roms that could be suggest by somebody out there. I know all the flashing process so i only need the rom if somebody could help me. Thanks to those who take the time to read and if u response to me, i'll be really happy.

I just downloaded Kingroot from main web. I've installed a custom recovery too that I find just searching on google. Just waiting for a ROM now! Hope you can root it!

Hi everyone. I've been searching for a while now and cant find a definitive answer on whether or not this can be rooted. My son got one for Christmas and I want to root it for him. It has ICS 4.0 and Google Play already pre-installed.

I too am looking for a way to get my next7p12 rooted. However I think you didn't get the response you were looking for due to a poor choice of titles.
As I'm assuming your next7p12 is actually a next7p12-gap as I came with google apps installed already.
I am still looking for a method too get this accomplished.
Even if someone would give me a lil push of knowledge I can try to get the job done myself.

Root is ok ( I used galaxy verizon way ) but ...
But since I like to make crazy thing on my phone, I wanted to make a backup before to brick it lol
But I don't know How to do q.q
I also think build a cwm for that phone can be really nice but I need to dump kernel and maybe more.

He's referring to the towelroot method.

You can modify settings for towelroot like this:

Then after towelroot has rooted your phone, you just download and install a root management app like SuperSU or ClockworkMod's superuser.
So, you don't even need to sideload.
For the driver, you don't really need it to gain root for this method, but there are a number of generic and universal adb drivers or an adb installer and/or pdanet(http://pdanet.co/a) for android that should work. Then you just use the typical, 'fastboot oem unlock', 'adb sideload xyz.zip', etc. steps.

Hi,
I'm looking to buy this phone to do some development - specifically building/porting Cyanogenmod to it. Did you manage to root your Agora? This is essential in order to develop CM and I don't want to buy it if it can't be rooted.

Did you have any success with your phone? I have just got myself a 4G+, which sounds even closer to the F5, hopefully there is a way!

Tried all (with lots of modstrings options on tr - maybe I just couldn't find the right combination, but that was a pain to enter in)... and yeah, I'd like root too; I want to be able to dim the capacitive touch buttons (won't work as it is - when using an ebook reader say), remove some apps... everything else is workable.

I currently own an X Style. As of right now there is zero root methods available but remember its a fairly new device. That being said I have high hopes of a root method soon.
I hope we get it soon. This phone would be so much better without all the preloaded bloatware..
Wonder if anyone has tried any of the generic rooting methods? I'm thinking about attempting a root on this $20 LG L53BL model. I know there probably aren't any roms available, but just having root for blocking ads, disabling apps etc. would be a huge step forward. Seems like a nice little device.

I tried to use KingRoot to root (then use Super sume) to get of KingUser, but King Root could not root it. Unfortunately, I really don't want to use an unrooted phone.
I cannot even find a stock bootloader on the darn thing.
I've tried all the button combinations and adb reboot bootloader and it always boots to live mode.
I tried Kingroot, Kingoroot, and Poot, but had no luck.
