What model number does my s6 edge cellcom fall under - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a galaxy s6 edge on cellcom model number is sm-g925r6 build number is LRX22G.G925R6WWU2A0F2 and baseband version G925R6WWU2A0F2 and hardware version G925R6.01 . I am having an issue finding support I'm thinking because cellcom isn't a major carrier. I want to know if there is a model number similar to mine so I can update it without messing things up. I went to the website and they don't have my model number. There is ones with te same beginning part (sm-g925r6) but the numbers after that don't match on any of them. Any advice? You can Poston here or pm me.

Can I know the stock android version of my S3 basing on IMEI and/or Serial Number?

Hi guys,
Can I know the stock firmware and region of my S3 by the IMEI and Serial number? I ask becuase i recently got a 2nd hand S3 and the person i got it from said that he already updated it with a jellybean version from poland.
I'm currently living in China, and from reading the forums, flashing with a new ROM will change the region of the phone based on the model number. I just want to know if its possible for me to know the exact stock information/region of my phone.
Thanks!

[Q] Product name in ODIN doesn't match device info

Hey!
I bought an international version Galaxy S3 and noticed in boot mode that my product name says SGH-T999, which is the U.S. T-Mobile version. However in about device menu my build number is indicated as I9300ZSEMC1, which is the international version from HK. Quadrant also indicates model as I9300. I haven't flashed any kernel or ROM yet, but the binary counter is at 2 so I'm guessing I didn't really receive my phone fresh out of factory. I want to recover back to stock and I'm confused on which version of stock recovery should I download? I'm guessing the ZEMC1 version, but I want to make sure Also, should I just go along with this or should I fix the wrong product name issue first?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/fix-s3-to-factory-unroot-stock-recovery-t2323847 I am following this guide
Just in case, my kernel says
3.0.31-538866

Did you buy your phone off ebay or similar? Fake phones are often sold as one model when really they only change the model number from another one. I certainly wouldn't flash a rom until you are certain of the model.
Samsung would never supply a phone new or refurbished like this and certainly not with the counter at 2.
Trust the boot loader, it can't be modified.

I checked the hardware specs, CPU frequency and GPU match the SGH T999 with 1.5GHz and Qualcom Andreno. I guess I got screwed over a little. Then again, it doesn't lag like the legit I9300 version of my buddies so I got that going on for me.
Then, how do I proceed with flashing stock? I notice the guide I linked includes links to U.S. carrier versions so I'm assuming I can carry on with it, apart from downloading the SGH version rather than ZSEMC
EDIT: I followed androidayos guide how to revert T-mobile gs3 to stock firmware, and it worked fine. Even the sticker behind battery was reprinted for fake i9300. I really hope no one gets screwed over like that, but in case you do, this helped.
Thank you guys for the assistance.
Similar problem
I have a similar problem with my Samsung Galaxy S3. In odin mode it pretends to be SGH-I747, but the sticker under the battery shows to be an international model GT-I9300. The about phone settings show my S3 is an international variant. I managed to open it with a screwdriver, i was surprised to see the motherboard is for SGH-I747.
I would say my phone has been modified. I have trouble with my phone as it can't connect to HSDPA. It only connects to Edge. I was thinking that flashing would solve the issue. But which firmware? It currently has android 4.3. Your help please!!

[Q] Upgrade / Baseband / CSC / Build

Hi all,
My device is branded as O2 and was bought in the UK then unlocked.
Model number
SM-G925F
Baseband
G925FXXU1AOCW
Build number
LRX22G.G925FXXU1AOCV
CSC
G925FTEF1AOC1
I've been an HTC User since the Desire HD, through to One X, One, One M8 then the one M9 which was such a letdown , I just bought an edge.
Here's my question.
My wife got the 6S as her upgrade and she's on 5.1.1 via OTA on a G920F with G920FXXU2BOFJ baseband.
Mine is still on 5.0.2 and it is absolutely infuriating that mine does not have an A-Z sort available in the app drawer, yet of course, hers does!
I have come to the conclusion I need 5.1.1 to get this option, however whenever I prompt OTA or via Samsung application on Windows - it claims I'm up to date.
Here's my question:
Do I absolutely need to wait for a 5.1.1 firmware to become available matching my baseband, build and csc or can i install any carrier free firmware via odin that matches my model number?
Thanks in advance peeps.

You can install any firmware for your specific device, carrier free or for specific supplier, 02 etc. I am in UK and use the latest 5.1.1 BTU firmware.

Thanks for the response. Is my specific device just categorised by the phone itself, galaxy edge? Or only items with the SM-G925F model number?

Unlocked T-mobile SM-G900F Network problems

Hello Everyone,
I've tried searching for this issue in the forum, but nothing was close to what I was experiencing.
I have come across a used T-mobile galaxy s5 here in my country (Morocco), It's unlocked, but I don't know what kind of flashing operations this phone has undergone before falling into my hands.
The main issue is that the network connection is unstable, it drops every 15 minutes or so, and when I try to make calls I get the error message '' not registred to network "
The IMEI Number seems good, I'm running a stock t-mobile Rom (with all the software, and the t-mobile logo on boot) and I've update my firmware with samsung Kies. The issue is still there.
My main interrogation is what do I try now to make it work, it seems to me that the baseband needs to be patched or something like this to work with our local carrier (Itssalat al Maghrib) but I'm open to all of your suggestions.
Thank you very much for your help and time.

Device model SM-G925F or SM-G925P? Upgrading to Android 6.0

Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone out there can help me out with my problem!
So I bought my phone in Malaysia and in settings -> about device -> Model number, I found out I have a SM-G925F phone. Running on 5.1.1 and baseband version G925FXXU3COI9. Now back home in the Netherlands I was waiting for a Android update but did not get any through OTA or SmartSwich. So I was looking into flashing it manually through Odin. Then in download mode I noticed that my phone had a different model number SM-G925P! Which is the American Sprint model number for the Samsung S6 Edge if I am not mistaken. I downloaded the app “Sammobile device info” and Phone Info *Samsung* as well and they both state I have a SM-G925P model with baseband number: G925PVPU2BOF7.
Which model do I actually own? I want to flash it since I also have a CSC CHN(china) code and I just want to flash it with a PHN Dutch android 6.0 firmware. Can I do this or will I soft/hardbrick my phone?
Hello, I have got the same problem.
What is You choice?
Have You been upgraded firmware?
Can I convert My S6 EDGE SM-G925P to SM-G925F ???
