Finally a Indian thread..... Which one do you plan buddy..... I'm pretty excited of the huawei nexus
I doubt the new phones will be available in India on release date, will most likely take about a month or so to arrive here!
I'm really looking forward for the nexus 5x, but, I will have to see 6p and also if moto x style if available here!
Guys, do you think the customer service of huawei can do justice as other brands?

Urm. I call foul on those prices of the 6p. Are you doing guess work, because there is no way those prices line up. Do you have a link? The international pricing for the 6p is 499, 549 and 649. Given the inflation and landing prices with the new taxes, i bet its more like 39,999, 47000, 56000.
was expecting 32gb version to be priced around 35-38k... pretty close
will now wait for few reviews and decide to go for it or now....
also no official confirmation from Google about India launch date

Well goto Google store... Click for nexus6p and then click on one of its accessories... Scroll down and you see that it's priced at 39k
The Cases look kinda cool. My second hand Nexus 6 looks dated already 40 k is a lot of money to shell out right away though.

Yes, I checked it out.. it starts from 39,999. I think this pricing is competitive enough compared to the Samsung devices. I own a Galaxy edge+, it is already slow and I spent 57k on it which makes me feel cheated.
Man they are priced really steeply considering no out of the league technology should be 35 38 40 max. Very disappointed with 6 p more disappointed with the pricing !! Don't know what to spend on now budget is 50k but that kind of money for a nexus no way will buy s6 instead feels premium if nothing else

With s6 you are stuck at the mercy of Samsung... With nexus never.... S6 got 32gig for 40k and the free mem is less than 6p... Battery life in 6p would be way better than disgusting one on s6....
For 48k you get 128gb.... Are you kidding me... For Samsung would have to pay 75k

Unlock bootloader command
The unlock command is now "fastboot flashing unlock" not "fastboot oem unlock".
I keep refreshing the playstore so I can get my pre-order in as soon as they're available.
I remember last year trying to pre-order the Nexus 6 was a nightmare, so I want to make sure I get my order in early.
So glad they stuck with the amoled screen and the dual front facing speakers. The metallic build is a bonus too, I found the Nexus 6 felt cheap.
the price is higher than I expected
$499 to GBP + VAT worked out to 400 quid, so 450 is disappointing.
You can get a Note 5 for that price, tough choice.
I really hope the battery life is fantastic or I am going to be really annoyed!

Where is it £450? I watched the live event (still on now) and they didn't mention UK pricing.
Obviously we'll get shafted on price like we do on everything, but just wondering where the official price was?
I think I'm gonna go for the 128gb if it's available today. I've just got a feeling not all the sizes will be available today.

Yep, I ordered mine and got the same date for estimated shipping. Ordered 128gb Aluminium and also the Quartz case and new chromecast and chrome audio.
Went for the 64GB in frost. Probably wouldn't have bothered, but with google refunding me for my nexus 5 (3rd replacement!) it won't end up costing me much to change.
Guys be aware that payments might decline if your bank flags them under fraud alert. If you get declined, go to wallet.google.com and check the history as well as checking that your payment information is up to date and if still no joy, contact your bank if they haven't contacted you already. I tried three times and got declined each time. Got an automated call from Santander and lifted the block on the card. Processed on 4th occasion with 2-5 November estimated shipping.

I doubt that it will work but you can try. The only issue is getting to the UK Play Store from Italy. You'll be directed to your home country store so you'll have to figure out a way to access UK store - maybe through VPN?

Just so I can contribute to this, the preordering on device payment plan is only best applicable to people who are NOT on a contract. If you are stuck on a contract until whenever time it is up, you preordering the S7 Bundle would mean you have to pay the $700/$800 price tag respectively for the S7 and S7 Edge.

I am still correct as this still applies to anyone who is not eligible for an early upgrade. I have three lines that will be eligible to upgrade in the first week of May, but that is obviously outside of the preordering window. This is just my 2 cents for everyone else to understand in the predicament if they want to get the free goodies.
Edit: Oh and, upgrading also means trading in your current device. Which is a loss.

I'm not arguing that some people who possibly just got the phone, may not be eligible.
However, most of us who bought it when it was first released are probably eligible.
I called and spoke to a rep the promotion is until 3/31. You pay the tax on the device so 40-50 dollars. You are then off contract and pay the $28 a month device charge. I was told they could lower my bill $20 a month per device making it only an extra $8. They have also earmarked my account for this change. I signed a contract on February 15th last year.

Handled demo...feels incredible in hand now that they have balanced edge on back and front...fully symmetrical
Colour is gorgeous and still gives shimmer that silver platinum does
The metallic frame is a very delicate copper/gold ..subtle enough not to be "feminine"
A huge leap forward from Note 5 and a smaller leap from S7 Edge but worth it when comparing to Note 5

Im curious too, I have a similar situation.
My old lady is going home to Toronto and I am going to meet her there. Between the 300 Canadian Best Buy will give me for my Note 5 and the strength of the USD I could pay the device off at 550 USD, give or take a few bucks.
I actually just looked at best buy and their retail prices in Canada without plans

#26 for a Rogers black one (planning to switch to them as I'm tired of Koodo only offering these phones via online ordering, plus I'm considering getting an LTE-capable tablet soon.
(yeah, I'll pay more with Rogers, but I'll also get WiFi calling, VoLTE, Roam Like Home, etc).
Would love to see one of these in person though as I'm worried the edges could be annoying like on the s7 Edge.

I promise you you wont be disappointed with the edge on the Note...both the frame edge which is so well done and seamless....and the screen edges which are very narrow and more of a design element than anything else...will not have keyboard accidental issues

Note 7 is def a keeper i think though...doubt i will get a nexus this year either as they shrunk the screen and took away the stereo speakers from what ive been reading.

I've gone through a lot of phones over the past year and a half. I told myself my S7 would be the last new phone of the year, but obviously that hasn't worked out as I've now pre-ordered the Note 7.
I have learned overall that I keep coming back to Samsung phones though, so I may at least be able to lower the number of phones I get in a year. This year I started with a Nexus 6P, then Galaxy S7, and now Note 7.

:silly: I might but the OP3 is a great replacement. It's not a nexus per say but from what I've seen the specs are going to be sub par. But yeah I guess you're right. I might be swayed.

What! Locked BL that's BS. The Axon 7 is the device I was feening for but since it's Chinese and relatively unknown I decided to go with the devil I know. Besides the only brought their price down to match the OP3. Had the Axon 7 been available at the same time I might have taken a chance on it. Those specs are on point. Glad I didn't though. Locked BL and all.

Yeah the specs are amazing on it and the stereo speakers are a huge selling point for me.
Axon has said its when not if they allow a BL unlock but we have all heard that before.
If they unlock Ill nab one as my secondary device likely . Hell we could buy an axon 7 and a OP3 for the cost of one note 7 lol

Haven't purchased yet but may be purchasing from the below link. It may be a bit more expensive but I believe they ship from Europe rather than China and so won't have the potential extra customs charge. Would also prefer the black/gray metal model but it seems to be slightly dearer everywhere so silver would do.

I bought mine from GearBest also. Crazy thing is, if you purchase with their app, you get an additional 30% or so off. I got the 3GB RAM \ 64 GB storage, Gold colored for $218, compared to the website which was $255.
Shipping was fast, I paid an extra $5 for DHL express, and it came in under a Week.
All in all, a really good experience for shipping something like this to the middle of the U.S.
I got my (for my wife to be honest) from TopOne store on AliExpress. 3/64gb silver and with DHL shipping was 203$. The best thing is that they ship to England first and then to rest of EU so there is no custom fee's for importing! Can say only good things about TopOne store: very good comunication with seller, checking devices before shipping (you can choose not to also if you want sealed phone package) and pretty cheap price.
Edit: Also bought Redmi Note 2 around Christmass last year and em very satisfied with phone considering what did cost back then (130$+20ish$ for DHL)

TopOne is good yeah.
But!!!! I personally hate it when Chinese re-seller open the boxes! Xiaomi does a quality check and I trust Xiaomi more then any Chinese reseller.
The problem is: When opening the box, they install a manipulated fake-MIUI version and bloatware.
Meaning: First thing you must do after getting the phone from TopOne (and similar shops) is -> perform a clean flash and do a factory reset. (Sucks IMO.)
Very much true but, as I was saying, you can tell them when buying as a note, not to open. I told them to open box, check the phone and dont touch software and I got tested RN4 with, what it seems to be original china ROM. If I'm not mistaken they also write it on description about opening box (in case of buyinf as a gift or similar) and I got PM as soon as I payed the phone asking what to do and explaining about shipping.
Anyway, whereever you buy you have to read description and google few opinions about seller.

Where abouts are you? Did you pay extra for courier delivery or express? As your delivery was very quick. I'm looking for sellers who deliver from an Eu warehouse (I'm in the UK). You end up paying extra but I'll probably pay it in customs if it comes in from China.

That was my first purchase from them.
The discount was related to China golden week.
I got my Redmi Note 4 from fastcardtech and I was quite pleased with how they handled things. One thing I didn't like is that they chose the shipping for me ( NL post even though I chose something else). Other than that the phone came sealed, no tampering , nothing. It had the Chinese ROM with MIUI 7 and I did an OTA to MIUI 8.
When you also consider that I only paid $155 for the 16 GB version I'd say it was a pretty good deal.

Can't tell if this is too good to be true? Very cheap for the 64gb model, there's an extra few quid to pay for shipping and that's if it doesn't get stopped for customs, but even then it's still cheap. Anyone bought from To2c.com?

I have vodafone and I don't have problem with b20.
I can say that also I'm not on 4g the download is very fast.
I ordered from gearbest it cost me $200 along with DHL service of 11.49$, seller not yet shipped my phone i hope he will do this week and it will come to me at weekends...
Different ROMs?
Hello friends, I am new to the Xiaomi/MIUI topic, so please be patient with me.
I am about to order a Redmi note 4. I stumbled upon different offers from geekbuying and flosmall. What I wonder about is, that geekbuying particularly advertises one version as International Global ROM with Google play pre-installed and OTA updates capable.
I know that Google play is not available in China, but that - in general - I can install it afterwards.
Flosmall does not say anything about the MIUI version or Google play or OTAs.
Would I run into problems when I order from flosmall, then be able to update OTA and install Google play? Or would everything run smooth and easy?

Me too looking to buy Plus / Pro version, but not sure whether the 5G version will be launched in India or not? Also, buying a 5G version may not really be fruitful because 5G will take a long time to get implemented here.
Basically in India & also in other countries 4G is gimmicky so will be 5G. In 2015, I used to get 23 Mbps upload & download in some areas with Airtel 3G.
So it's basically lack of infrastructure / subscriber load / bandwidth locking by ISPs cumulating to restricted speeds these days also.
It can also be like if we provide 23 Mbps on 3G, who will subscribe for 4G..? And same goes for 5G.
Regarding Note 10 5G , it might be launched after few months or with S11.

So, waiting for 5G Note Pro may not be actually worth it.
Lets hope that the camera is great and has much more to offer than the likes of P30 & the S-pen has something new to offer. Also, lets hope that it has a huge battery ( rumors vary from 4000 Mah to 4500 Mah, so we have to wait & watch ).

Agree, exchange offers are s*hit. Not impressive at all. Not enough upgrades and camera is the same as S10 plus.
The Galaxy Note 10 series comes in two versions Note 10 and Note 10 plus. Note 10 starts at 70,000 and Note 10 plus starts 80000.
