Hi,
I am new to this forum, but hope to get a quick response from you guys, I have bought a T-Mobile Vibrant (Used) from Houston USA and brought it to Pakistan where I unlocked it. The problem I am facing is very poor to no GSM 900/1800 reception. I tried it reflashing to stock ROM T959.VJUFD but that did not made any difference in reception.
Can someone please guide me with some details if it can be done with a software modification.
I will really appreciate
Which Network are you using? Also, where do you live exactly?

Try Bionix-V. The KA7 modem is great, but if you have a very weak signal where you are at then there may not be anything you can do.
Sent from a Galaxy S far....far....away.
Probably it is related to your GSM company. Vibrant works well with Gsm1800 in turkey.
Did you ever tested it in US? How was the performance?
I live in Karachi, have perfect signals on my other HTC and Motorola
Using Mobilink which is on GSM 900.
I will try the new KA7 and will post the result
Im in China and the S2 is available in WCDMA form. I'm currently on Verizon wireless will this phone be compatible with Verizon or any other US carrier? Sorry if this question has already been asked/answered, Im on a very slow connection and having trouble searching. Thanks for anyone that helps!
no one knows?
Hello all,
Just got my new i9300 and made my own mini-sim from my SII and I am up and running...well sort of...I am using TMO USA as my carrier and this is a new i9300.
My questions are:
1. How do I get calling over WI-FI and 4G... I am only getting Edge grrrr... is where I need to install a rom? Comments / suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Ciao~
Greetings,
I live in the US, my carrier is TMO and I have the international i9300. I rooted it and Rom it from a ROM in this forum. This SIII is working like a champ, however I am only getting Edge and sometimes HPSA.. I was told it had something do with file size , etc...to see if would work. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Hey all,
I recently moved to New Zealand from the United States. I have a Galaxy S6 edge with US Cellular (SM-G925R4) running 5.1.1. I was under the impression that I would be able to use my Galaxy S6 edge here because it is unlocked and because i'm under the impression that there's GSM Antennas in my device. Is this accurate? I took my phone to Vodaphone and Spark, and neither company was able to get it going, although all they did was place a SIM card in it. It just kept saying 'Searching for Service' and had no signal bars at all.
Does anyone know what I need to do to get my device working here?
Thanks in advance!
Alex
Bump! Guys I still really need help on this.

Us cellular is a cd ma carrier. That is likely why it won't work in new Zealand.
