YouTube video quality is poor - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When I play video from youtube the quality of the video is really poor, glitches ..... It does not matter if I use the native youtube app or the browser, it does not matter which type of connection i use: 3g/lte/wifi... , the result is same - the quality is very, very bad.
When playing from different sources, like facebook for example, it works like a charm.
Anyone meet something similar?

youtube video playback

is there a way of having youtube play in high quality all the time instead of
wifi - high quality
HSDPA - low quality
I can always select high quality manually in the MORE section. But it should be possible to set this as default? Even my Touch HD could do this
Maybe it is just a 0 or a 1 in some system setting...?
On a somewhat unrelated topic... Does anyone know of a way to make the Youtube app the default player for youtube videos? I mean, when I go to youtube in my browser, the videos open in the HTC Flash Player, but I'd prefer the Youtube app opened instead. Any ideas?

[Q] Change YouTube app video quality?

Hi,
Does anyone know how to specify a quality in the YouTube app, rather than the default HQ and LQ settings please?
The LQ setting (240p) quality is too low to make anything out.
The HQ setting (480p I assume?) takes too long to load on 3G, and sometimes even Wifi.
So is there any way to change it to another quality in between, like 360p?
Thanks.

[Q] Regarding youtube app

Does anyone know why the youtube android app does not play videos in good quality while the web browser with flash 11.1 plays video in excellent quality even though both youtube videos are put to HD settings. The picture quality from the web browser is obviously much better then the youtube application.
Which ROM are you using?

[Q] Low bandwidth YouTube app

Hey guys. I'm searching for an application that would allow me to watch YouTube videos in ultra low resolutions, such as 240p AND/OR 144p.
I am working with a really bad WiFi connection here, thats why i need it. The Twitch (Twitch.tv) app is great, because you can select "mobile" in the quality selection box and i can watch it perfectly , but on the YouTube app there's nothing close to that.

Video Enhancer / Video Brightness - how to add more apps?

Samsung used to call this setting "Video Enhancer. More recently, it has started calling it "Video Brightness". Basically, it increases the brightness and saturation of videos played in certain apps, such as Netflix and Youtube.
Is there a way to get this working with /other/ apps, specifically YouTube VANCED, or even streaming videos through a browser *cough*. It seems like such a simple function is overly restricted - one ought to be able to add more apps, - and no-one really talks about it in any depth...
