i installed latest CM7 into my x10 mini, which required the kernel 2.6.29
but it freezes when (sony ericsson) appears at the beginning of the startup
it freezes for hours, so please if anyone of you knows the solution, i appreciate
and also if anyone of you gives me the link to download the .ftf firmware file of 2.1
because i found many firmwares, but all of them are .sin, and i don't know what to do with them, flashtool doesn't find them
help me please, the phone is not mine, it's my bro's

if you mean stock 2.1 se firmware all you have to do is install seus and click repair under updates tab...
however this is the wrong section ypu should have posted in general or Q&A

the last miniCM7 requires a custom kernel& unlocked bootloader.
you can't use it with stock SE kernel, sorry
repaire with SEUS or if your phone has an unlocked bootloader, flash nAa's kernel
first i am sorry for the position of the thread, i didn't post, i asked a friend to do it
second i really appreciate your help friends and thank you alot
from your help i understand that i must first unlock the bootloader, then flash the kernel and finally install cyanogenmod 7, am i right??

the (best) way :
unlock your bootloader
install miniCM7 2.0.7 (to maximise the compatibility/minimise problems ) it works with stock kernel and a little with custom...
flash the nAa_kernel04
Install miniCM7 2.1.2
read my FAQ, and the dedicated thread about miniCM7 and the kernel before trying anything

if you are installing older version of MiniCM then try going to recovery mode and wipe battery stats then reinstall it will work hopefully
and then you can crack bootloader and install Custom kernel as matmutant said
Hello. I was looking for a stock Gingerbread FTF for Xperia MT27i but I only found few useless links and some Indian 2.3.7's. Finally I gave up and decided to stop looking for an official rom (sola's owner wants as fast rom as possible but he doesn't want to use unofficial roms ) but then I realised that I just can ask here. Firstly I want to clear the system (format the whole internal SD-card).
Secondly I want to get back to the latest stock rom for my i9305 and root it afterwards.
The main problem is that I dont find any good tutorial and above all, the download files.
I live in Germany and I would love to have the right modem for me...
I've searched a long time for find some answers for my question above, but with no access.
Maybe you could help me out?

Check sammobile. Put your phone in download mode>Flash new firmware thru ODIN. You can refer youtube.

I have just bought a Z2 and have got it on the latest version of Marshmallow (via Sony Companion) but I heard you can root these and put custom roms on them.
I don't know where to start.
Could someone provide links on how to root the Z2 and how to put a decent custom ROM on there please

Try lineage os 14.1. Been using for sometime and it's working flawless.
