Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Sm-G925V/Sm-G925R6 - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi i have a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Sm-G925R6 that im trying to return back to stock firmware.
The phone is from a cell phone service provider called CellCom out in Wisconsin. Cellcom uses Verizons towers to get LTE out in rural areas of Wisconsin
I purchased the phone and thought it would be an easy fix returning back to stock. The previous owner did not know what he was doing as he loaded the rom and forgot to make a back up of his Stock Firmware
The full model number of the phone is Sm-G925RZWALRA on the back sticker of phone with imei
on the box sleeve model number: SMG925RZWAL
which from my understanding the last 3 letters "LRA" stands for LTE in Rural Areas
The Fcc ID:A3LSSMG925V
Baseband Version G925R6WWU2AOF2
I am currently running CleanROM 1.5-Edge OE2 for the Verizon S6 edge with no issues besides having to sign back into my wifi
and all other Verizon Roms work fine on the phone as well.
Im currently using T-Mobile in Chicago on the phone with no issues and full LTE speeds working
But i would like to use The android pay app as sometimes i am forgetful and tend to forget my wallet. And with custom roms the android version can not be verified
I have tried using the stock firmwares for verizon both 5.1 and 5.0.2 to try to return the phone to stock but it fails in odin.
I have also tried using US Cellulars Stock firmware since theyre model number the galaxy s6 Edge is SM-G925R4 pretty similar to mine as mine is Sm-G925R6 but that has also failed in Odin.
I do like the debloated Rom but would rather have Android pay just in case of emergencies .
Thanks in advance for any help.

Omg glad that I'm not the only one with the cellcom version, I have been looking everywhere for what to do since I didn't want to install the wrong firmware and brick my s6 edge I have the same model number but I updated mine the day I got it which didn't change the android version. Finally, 5 minutes ago found a stock rom it's for a appellation wireless, same mode number "smg925r6wwu2aof2" as me. LINK

Where did u find ur rom? Can i just use any rom for s6 edge? I want to ask before I take my chances and mess up my phone, since I see you are more brave than me, I rely on having a phone.

Low Lte signal

Hi guys,
I bought a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925F sim free
Build number LMY47X.G925FXXU2COH2
Baseband version G925FXXU2COH2
5.1.1 Lollipop
Previously my Oneplus One on Three network (UK) I would have full Lte signal but on my S6 Edge I only got 2 bars. Changing to WCDMA/GSM I get great signal and in speed test is actually faster than LTE.
I'm not rooted and I'm wondering if this is a software problem or hardware, and if flashing a different rom would help?
I don't mind tripping only if it will fix the problem.
Thank in advance.
I got s6 edge+ last week. Bad reception. Changed the phone, in the AT&T store. The second phone is even worse.
Initially the store employee told me that there are no new phones in Stock in their store. But he said he found one.
Since the second phone is even worse, is it be possible that, the store gave me a defective phone returned by a prior customer?
He opened the box in front of me. But I am not sure, it's brand new.
But anyway my replaced s6 edge + is even worse.
Folks, any suggestions?
I'll wait for the next update (marshmallow) and see if iit makes any difference.

Galaxy S3 I9300 Problems

Hey guys,
I'm from India and I bought the I9300 International version, although the Download mode shows SGH-I747 and unlocked I think. The build number on the device is JSS15J.I9300ZSENA1. It runs on Android 4.3 Jellybean and is the Pebble Blue version.
I'm using Reliance carrier on it and having frequent call drops, connectivity issues and texting problems as well. Then I get this security notice which asks me to boot the device repeatedly and I don't have any clue why that happens.
Now, my main problem is that I can't use the device for calling purposes as well texting.
So, how can I fix this? When I tried to update the firmware, I found the At&t text on it. That made me think that this might be the right place to post. Anyway, will changing the ROM to a Custom one like Cyanogen help to fix this issue? I need some help with this as I spent some decent bucks on it.
Some screenshots that might help.

Disable svoice. Its rubbish anyway.
The call drops could be network signal swapping bands or an issue with the carrier.
If you are sure it's the phone acting up the only real fix is to reflash the stock rom.
I wish I stole my HTC M9.
The strange thing is, I9300 is a AT&T version. i always thought I747 was the AT&T version. But anyway, will reflashing the stock ROM work somewhat with call issues?
And thanks for the SVoice advice.

SM-G925T unlocked, Flash to AT&T??

Hello I recieved this phone from a friend which had told me the phone was carrier unlocked.
I am currently a AT&T customer.
I went to the AT&T Store locally and had the woman get me a new SIM card and activate it.
My internet did not work so I told the woman I can figure it out and left the store.
I then edited my APN settings to "phone" and all the proper settings that are posted for the Galaxy S6 Edge AT&T
I now have horrible service. Just like T-Mobile does in my entire area that is why no one bothers to use it unless you live in town even then it wont work inside your own house.
I feel like all the information is somewhere in this forum but I have spent quite a bit of time searching around to only find small pieces of answers.
Questions:
What Bands does the tmobile version run on?
Is this phone fully compatible with AT&T LTE? If not what speeds am I limited to?
Should I be running a different bootloader?
I'm currently on 6.0.1 Android stock tmobile. Can I flash to a debloated firmware without tripping knox? Which ones? Are there features I may loose?
Should I downgrade to stock 5.11 tmobile first then root then flash to debloat?
What is the safest and best way to root the phone?
Should I care about Knox if I have no warranty and dont plan on sending it in ever because of this?
Thank you in advance everyone I appreciate the help.
Please help

SM-G925F - Forcing 1700/2100AWS

Hey everyone!
I bought a new S6 Edge from Amazon. Upon receiving the phone, I've noticed that it seems to have been made for the UAE.
Model: SM-G925F
Andriod: 5.0.2
BB Ver.: G925FXXU1AOC1
Kernel: 3.10.61-4260274
BUILD: LRX22G.G925FXXU1AOC
I currently live in Canada, and use Freedom mobile (AWS - B4 1700/2100) and this phone is not picking up service.
I'd like to know, is it possible to configure the modem to accept this frequency band? In the past I hacked the Qualcomm modem in my GS4 to accept this band.
I am unsure if this is a software or hardware limitation for this model, as I have tried dozens of times to root (in hopes I can modify baseband) - and have soft bricked 6 times. I've also looked into changing the CSC with Odin, but every time I try to flash anything but stock ROM I get soft bricked again...
I've been working on this for about 5 hours now, with no luck. Anyone able to enlighten me if I'm wasting my time?
Thanks a million in advance.
Edit: Looks like it's going to be easier to switch to literally ANY other carrier. This model supports every other band except UMTS B4. Maybe I can jump back on Freedom/Wind once they release LTE in the fall.

SM-G965F on T-Mobile, what are my options?

So I learned the hard way that you can't have it all.
I travel for work quite a bit and I was in the Middle East working when my Verizon S7 Edge started to have problems. I looked for a replacement in Dubai and was happy to find the S9+ at a reasonable price and with the 256GB option (which I wasn't finding in the US). I popped in my Verizon sim and life was good.
Then I returned to the US and. nothing. worked. I had forgotten that Verizon was strictly CDMA in the US and this phone had no CDMA radio.
I also was noticing that the samsung pay app was locked to the UAE version which was annoying but not a huge issue...I couldn't add American Express credit card which may or may not have been due to that region setting.
So in order to actually get service I switched to T-Mobile and have had decent data rates. However the phone doesn't use volte or wifi calling which is very bad since where I am staying is somewhat of a dead spot for mobile coverage. I basically can't receive phone calls here and making a call requires me to wait about a minute for the phone to figure out what protocol to connect to (dowleveling to either a 3g or H to actually connect and dial).
My initial research tells me that I don't want to root the phone and lose all ability to use samsung pay, but I would love to do as much as I can to the phone to get it working as best as possible.
Can someone chime in here to let me know what's possible? I don't want to experiment too much, and it's been rare over the years for me to keep up with all the root/firmware/rom etc. that has become available. My last real era of rooting phones was many years ago with iPhone and even then it was a lot to keep up with.
thanks in advance!
bump.
Anyone?
I had the same issue. I ended up rooting to get TMobile volte/wifi-calling. Also, by rooting you can also use Verizon Wireless; however, only with LTE.
You could use Google Pay lol.
Furthermore, I suck at giving reasons, but that's what I did.
Don't quote me on this, but from what I understand, you can use the patched ODIN and flash the firmware's CSC outside of it's region and change it to XAA. There is also a guide to changing CSC without root that may work as well.
From what I understand, the G965F is unable to load the XAA csc without root since it is only for the Snapdragon version
I ended up using Tekhd's tmobile detonator after I bricked my G965F/DS atleast 3 times. It works great now.
The way to change csc without root is via a combination rom and using Realterm. Using TMB CSC on a global G965F/DS ROM will end up in a PUK code lock. I tried ALL the US CSC on my G965F to confirm this.
