no it wont work. dont ever try to flash rom that are not build for your device. even same spec you cannot use other device rom. else you will bricked ur device.

No.I used android kitchen to unpack boot.img then replaced zImage.
Then u need to put replace system/etc/snd_soc... folder with stock folder.
Finish it will boot now

Thanks for the great rom. I only have one problem, when updating from 5.11.21 to 6.9.15 all of my google apps stops working. Do I have to delete all of my google apps and reinstall them?
Edit: I flashed the 5.11.21 back and tried OTA 6.9.15 again and now only Chrome browser won't work. Is there an easy fix for that?

I have just downloaded the new Glamour S5 ROM for my Galaxy S3 and it has been installed successfully by using recovery.
But when the device reboots after installation has completed the screen stucks at boot image.
I have kept device ON for almost 15 minutes but it didn't start.
I have also tried wiping data and cache but non of this helped.
Soo i would request any member to help me with my problem..

Chances are the download could be corrupt just to be sure download the rom again wipe everything and try again

I am using this rom with psn kernel and lmk set to agressive. I installed it with full wipe and didn't encounter any problems.

The newest version 7 is still based on Archiport preview 5, so it hasn't reached alpha phase yet. Although from the S5 kitkat ports I've tried Glamour S5 is the best one and I'll definitely be trying version 8. Keep up the great work Henrylife.

Best Kernel for Glamour S5 ROM V7
I am experiencing aps stop working, lags slow response. I saw a review that said flashing a new kernel would resolve these, but when I flashed the latest AGNi kernel the device got stuck on boot S3 logo. I had to re install the Glamour ROM to get it working again. As I am new to this could any one please answer following.
1- What is the best kernel to use with this ROM. ( download link would be a great help )
2-How to install that Kernel without causing any damage to the current ROMs working.

I have never had the problem of random reboots on any version of RR. But then I not merely wiped, but formatted my phone, which prior to installing RR was stock.
Can you post the Resurrection_Remix_KK_v5.1.5-20140610-meliusltexx.zip file? The original file on mediafire was removed.

yes those are complete rom's .. just make your backup make a factory reset wipe cache and dalvic flash the rom and the gapps .

i had mixed luck with them... none seemed to work with my gear 2 watch without errors & one (LS-KK-v3.0-2014-03-12-meliusltexx, i think), disabled my modem so i couldn't make calls or use wifi (broadband unknown) and it still wouldn't work after i flashed known working roms.. i was up till 8am flashing lol.
managed to sort it with a 4.4 stock rom odin flash which disabled the touchscreen again then flashed it with phils touch then twrp then used the 4.2 megafire rom... i think that's enough playing for me
shame, because i liked the look of the LS-KK-v3.0... i just couldn't find a modem flash :/

I doubt it because the one he made is specifically for the 331 from what I can tell. Check this thread out if you want to deodex (worked for my 530NU and my phone too).

No . This is the same if you tried to flash T331 stock firmware via Odin to your tablet . Only difference - this is deodex .

Take a look at this Deodexed Stock rom from @MarkusMcNugen
His rom may have the answers you need to fix the boot animation..
He abandoned it a ways back, it boots and its what I'm using right now..
Absolutely no issues
If your looking for Stocked and Superstocked, just google his name and it will take you to his AndroidHost page.. @MarkusMcNugen no longer answers his messages... PMs or on the Forums..

I will take a look thanks. I am aware of him being inactive (probably has life issues) but that's fine as the rom he made was really good. This is an updated ANK1 base so when ever I start making a custom one, it will be updated to latest build from Samsung (ANK1). I'm not an expert dev so yeah. I will probably add some custom themes if I can remember the stuff for kitkat. When ever you guys get lollipop, I can try to make a black theme if samsung didn't change anything to much. I don't remember posting in his thread... but that's besides the point. Thanks for the info for the bootanimation.

I'm no where near close to being a n00b..
At this point I am learning a whole lot just by listening to the local chatter and reading, or trying to understand the code..
I feel if I see it enough, it will start to make sense.. I just wish I knew where to start, so I could build on that..
Oh there isn't much difference between the ANCA Base and the ANK1.. Just a few security tweaks..
BTW do you have the Stock ANK1 ROM, oh never mind.. I do have it.. lol
The coding part is for CM/building asop roms to your device. 20+GB of source code along with knowing blobs, commits, git, the list can go on. So yeah I cant even understand any of that ?. Building custom roms for touchwiz just requires knowledge of file structure, and what they do and also the mods you want to add... probably more I forget. Heck even changing apks, debloating is a big improvement for some.
I'll try and rebuild again using something else.

Added Base for T530 (Lollipop). Make sure users have odined the latest firmware in which lollipop Touchwiz requires an LP boot loader. Other than that, boot animation and everything is fixed. Just make sure you flash the T530 base with Moonbutts CWM. Seems to be an issue with twrp. Thanks to @repey6 for testing! Hopefully any dev can make some Touchwiz ROMs and tweaks to it! Thanks guys!

You can use anything you want from these bases! Just make sure you know what your doing such as the kernel path and such.

I'd suggest you to not flash any of these as they aren't custom ROMs. These were things I extracted and created a flashable zip in twrp so devs can add some tweaks or anysort. Don't even bother flashing T530 as your device IS T330NU.

For now is only deodex, you can see the screen of the stock S6 edge. In the next build I'll add some tweak and debload rom, then I'll upload some screen
Hi,this rom is great in 920i variant, only the Google Play not download apps error, the wizar of configuraron in first boot error in Connection, the all work great, very like the smood effect in this rom, fix this errors, and Knox in On, not binarios in ROOT, thank you

Has it f2fs support so we can use it with arter kernel (system, data & cache)?

Changelist, higher = newer .. unless it's a branded firmware (e.g. AT&T, Vodafone etc.)
In this case G920FXXU3DPFI (8007686) is the latest. PF9 may have a higher changelist, but it's a branded firmware from Vodafone.
Btw what is the difference between XXU 3 and XXS 3 firmware? The PF1 is XXS3 and others are XXU3 like PFI
