I'm having trouble with my xperia z1 about camera flash, the camera is okay but the flash won't work at real time, when the camera take a picture in dark, the flash doesn't blink at the same time..
Note: I've Upgraded it to lollipop but it doesn't solve my problem so I downgrade to Jelibean and then kitkat and still now it is same.. could anyone tell me the solution for the camera flash please.!!!! Thank you..

I am still using original stock rom in my x10 mini pro. I was thinking about upgrading to some custom rom, but i have read that there is problem with camera that doesn't shoot 5Mpx photos. That is the reason why I still have stock rom because I need 100% functional camera. I wonder if there is any custom rom with working camera?

Yes you were right that custom ROM was having problem with camara but now its fixed.
you can flash your with FROYOBREAD v023e (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1190037) its good with no camara bug.
I flash it yesterday only & camara is worth, If you still have problem you can report to developer they definelty come up with solutioon.
I would also like one with working and NON lagging autofocus in video.
Also the stock 2.1 camera looks way better than these new ones with the "huge" frame.

I have a Xperia Z and i love the camera firmware that comes with the 4.3 android for xperia z but i want to install cm 11 with 4.4 kitkat
Is there any way that we can transfer the stock camera firmware so i can use 4.3 xperia z camera firmware on the Cm 11

try to reinstall ics with this guide using flashtool

(choose the latest ics (no JB for our phones), dont forget to install also flashtool drivers )

i recently installed an unofficial phantom cwm recovery to my sony xperia p, rooted bootloader unlocked and running 4.1.2 JB. the problem is, now the camera is not working, it is saying camera not available, other applications (3rd party) that used to access the camera are saying camera not available, tried flashing the cybershot zip for xperia devices and its saying camera not working please help...

Today I would like to share with all of you about what i had done for my Xperia L .. Actually it worked perfectly but after had an upgrade OS installation, it show error on camera. But I just can recover only the front camera but the rear camera is BOOOO ..
So I did root my Xperia L and install a new custom rom .. I would like to suggest CyanogenMod 12 Lollipop 5.0.2 .. Anyway, I'm happy because I can selfie again
never got that problem before, but happy to know that your camera is work perfectly again
