Has anyone bought the dock for the g tablet? I was considering buying one and just wanted to know how it worked. Does the HDMI have good quality when hooking to a tv and where to buy one, I remember other users saying one existed and i saw a few pics of one but when i google search it i come up empty.

I had 20 more a couple weeks ago that i was selling to XDA members at cost but they didn't last 36 hours. I am working on trying to get more in the states.
Good Luck!

Hopefully I manage to catch that thread if you do another bulk buy. The two places I found links for seem to give me trouble with my debit card. Thinks its a credit card.

I sent my two primes, and two docks back to ASUS. They have had them for two weeks now.
I have emailed Trinity, my contact that Gary gave me, she is the one I put attention to on the box. I emailed here about 5 times in the last two weeks, and not even one email back.
I have now emailed Gary two times in the last week, and no email back from him either.
I am about to get my credit card companies involved. All I have asked is for a working RMA, a status update, or at least a confirmation that they at least have my stuff.
Two weeks and I can't even get a courtesy one email back???
What would you guys do next???
Call them
I sent mine in about a week and a half ago. I've never waited this long on a repair from anywhere before. Hopefully your goods comeback in better shape than you left them. I had my tablet for a day before mailing it in for repair. Very disappointing. Not sure why I didn't just return it. Would have had a new one already.

I understand what you saying. He has been very busy lately. I'd say try emailing him again. Put who you are in the subject in the subject and put this needs reading asap.
Browsing this thread - this just really hit me hard. Freakin' TWO PRIMES RMA'd - and no response?!
That is absolutely, 100%, unequivocally , unacceptable in today's market.
Really makes me want to move away from Asus Tablets. My Prime has had no GPS (ordered in December, received late January). I sure don't want to go through RMA hell, but I also don't want to try to explain to everyone what the abscess (sorry, dongle) is attached to my otherwise, thinner than iPad tablet is.
Ridiculous.

Asus agreed to buy back all this stuff. So I sent it all in per their shipping methods. And now I get nothing. How do I call, when they did not even give me a RMA number, all they gave me was instructions to send it to California Asus, with attention to Trinity.
I don't understand why they can't even reply back?
When I email both people I include all old emails, so they know what the email is about. I just don't get it. They have had it in their hands since the 4th of April.
I would call them. My experience is someone always answers the phone and any one of them can help you. Sometimes you have to wait a little bit and listen to the Asus advertising before someone picks up but it's worth the short wait.
I had a great RMA experience with them and Trinity was initially assigned to me (From Gary) but it wasn't necessary to only have her help you. Everyone gladly chipped in to assist.
Ill mention your xda name next time I talk to Gary. A few others had a similar situation and i got them an accelerated response. It shouldn't be needed but he is a busy man. That Trinity woman is the one who really should've hit you back already and no reason why she couldn't have already. Ill see if I can help ya out.
Actually I have a RMA # but it does not work, nor does entering my phone number on their website. It took me a week for Trinity to get back to me with shipping instructions. She said she sent them to me, I sent her three emails over the next week, and then she finally got back to me with the shipping info.
With service like this my costumers would leave my company, and I would be left with no work, therefore no job. Maybe she does not work there anymore??? That's the only reason I emailed Gary about this again.

My Prime has arrived in their facilities since 5 weeks ago. RMA numbers never worked.
Sent mine in on 04/08, fedex said they received it on 4/12, but the status said the receive date was 04/13. its now in [WB5] status. damn thats a long time without my prime. i RMA'd a galaxy tab and it took less than a week to get there and back to me -__-

Well this is clearly Asus' fault. And it isn't.
The problem here is that Asus obviously put their US RMA service up for bid and accepted the lowest bidder.
So yeah, root cause is Asus' fault.
The lowball bidder whom Asus awarded the bid to has attempted to line their pockets by defrauding Asus' customers (documented repeatedly here on XDA before someone gets a wild idea about suing me for libel, bring it if you're that stupid). This adds to the problem.
And Asus doesn't seem to be supporting the RMA site other than with some parts. IOW the RMA site doesn't have access to NVFlash either. I haven't heard enough from other poster's on XDA to know if any non-brick software issues have been resolved, but I suspect not since most of them could be handled via FOTA.
Then there's the lack of communication between the RMA site, Asus, and the customer.
So it's not a pretty picture, no matter how you look at it.
I rma'ed mine last monday the 9th, shipped overnight and it arrived in their hands on the 10th. My RMA still says they haven't received my device yet. It's been like that since day 1. I'm not gonna call or anything, its pointless. They only have 14 days anyways max to turn around an RMA.
Hi,
I will have Trinity call you today and have escalated it higher after my response to you yesterday. I did respond on 4/13 and again yesterday. I apologize about the call back not occurring.
Sincerely,
Gary
Sounds like a lack of parts to me. Primes seem to be breaking everywhere.

Gary I did not get an email from you on the 13th, I did get one last night stating you are forwarding this on to Tony, but I got nothing today from Tony or Trinity. The last email I got from Trinity is the FedEx info, I have never received an email since then from her. I use Gmail, and I have checked the spam folder, and found nothing....
Still no reply from Asus.....
I need to rma my device due to some light bleed, but maybe i should call Asus Support on the instructions manual first? will they troubleshoot that? anybody got experience on how Asus is handling these kind of defects?

if the light bleed isn't that bad, I would suggest that you don't RMA it unless it really bothers you and you want to part with your tablet for AT LEAST a month
Just received the tracking info. No email, but the orders page on Google updated (Yes I have been checking it like a hawk). Ordered it Thursday night and its scheduled for early delivery tomorrow. Overnight, I cannot wait to get my mitts on it. Hopefully minimal or no backlight bleeding.
Mod-Edit : Changed Title to closed
Congrats!
I phoned and they said that it should be shipped tonight. Next day delivery. Fingers crossed.

Nice! I kinda want one, but not sure if I really need a 10 inch tab.
Fine, yours shipped! As did thousands of others.
Imagine everybody whose device shipped made a thread on xda .
Please only post when you have smth to say that is either a question that helps you, or an information that is helpful to others.
Thanks for your understanding.
I have not been here lately since I bought a Note 4 and gave my Note 3 to a family member.
Before I gave it away I ordered an extra battery and a cradle charger. They have arrived and have been sitting there.
If you need them, they are yours.
I have given things away before and I do not ask for anything in return. I do not do it for "thanks" or popularity.
Fact is God has blessed my family this week and laid it on my heart to do this again.
Anyway, the battery is OEM and the cradle is 3rd party. I have never used them.
The only thing I ask is you pay it forward one day.
PM me or reply here. Please don't take advantage it you really don't need or plan on selling.
Edit: l can not promise super fast delivery because I am not allowed to drive due to seizures so it depends on schedules and getting a ride
I will take them off your hands if no one else has PM'd you before me. Thanks!

For whatever reason, when I decided to buy the Pixel 6 on Friday (1/21), buying it direct from Google seemed like the way to go. For some reason it wasn't showing up for overnight delivery on Amazon and my local Best Buy was out of them (the unlocked version).
It said "Get it as soon as 1/22!" so I clicked the link. Tossed the phone and case into my cart and went to check out. There was no option to get it next day, but I had a busy weekend planned anyway, and it said it would arrive 1/25-1-27. There was an option for $20 to bump it up by one day. Pass.
Ordered it, and pretty much forgot about it until today. Checked my order and it still hasn't even shipped, but apparently Google only gives you an hour or so after ordering to cancel. I checked; too late for me to cancel.
At this point it's back in stock for tomorrow morning delivery by Amazon and BB has gotten some more in, but I can't cancel my Google order. Grrr...
Kind of odd that it would sit 76+ hours without shipping, and not be cancel-able at this point. Note to self: don't buy directly from Google anymore.

Usually they have a status associated with the order. It's probably being sent to shipping if it's not cancel-able. Google does not give you "an hour or so after ordering" to cancel. If it's not in stock they will give you as many days/weeks as it takes to get to shipping. It's only the 24th and not even the earliest it was expected to arrive. Give it to the 27th and ... well all good things come to those that wait.
Yeah, pretty stoked about getting this thing. Can't blame me for some impatience ! My first Pixel. I've had pretty much everything but Google-made Androids.
The status shows "not shipped" but no cancellation because the order went to the warehouse on Friday. They are probably backed up like everyone else these days.
Ok, sitting back and waiting. Lots of great info on this subforum.
Lol..
I can't wait for the Pixel 7.
Shipping date Oct. 25, 2022.
My dear friend just look at me, you will definitely feel good.
I live in a country where Pixel phones are not officially available.
I placed an order on October 26th from Google store US to be shipped to my friend in CA.
Google started shipping on Nov. 7th, and meanwhile, I started worrying about FedEx as everyone on Reddit said Fedex always lost packages.
Finally thank god, it was delivered to my friend on Nov. 15th.
My friend started the shipment on Nov. 22nd via USPS.
In the end, it took a month to reach me.
And, it came to me without a warranty.

Yes.
I paid US tax $ 55.15
I paid USPS fee $71.75
I paid import tax almost $70
All for the 128 GB pixel 6 with a Pixel bud which I finally sold at almost $90
Wow big taxes! You are hard core! Do you like the phone enough to justify the effort?
I had one colleague a few years back from a small European country who had trouble getting good phones there. He practiced what I call Phone Tourism. He travelled to the US twice a year for work. Each time he would buy a phone or two here at a retail store. So he could always trade up once or twice a year and maybe sell an extra on the side. Never declares anything.
Meanwhile, minutes ago I got a note that my phone just shipped! Too early to know delivery date yet but at least it's moving.
Actually, the phone is not a nice surprise.
It is not as good as I expected and it is not good enough to justify my effort.
I was so naive as to believe the Google release show.

I'm curious what aspects disappointed you. Sorry you don't love it. I jumped into the Pixel party a bit on a lark, since my OP6T's final software update broke a few things and pissed me off. Not certain I will love it like I did my 6T that I kept for three years.

@Frankenscript Don't believe bush911, lol. With the January update, which you should do before anything else, you're gonna really like this device. It's thin, slightly large if you're coming from a P5 but you get used to it. The display is beautiful and the software is working really well. As the monthlies roll out it will even get better. Enjoy it and yes, I do know what it's like to be waiting in anticipation. We've all been there.

There are some minor problems which are really annoying. The on-screen fingerprint reader is not good, I always get a 7 out of 10.
The phone always becomes overheated while doing simple tasks, which never cause similar issues on my previous Pixel 3.
The front camera is not better than the one on Pixel 3, the main camera, the main camera doesn't show much superiority over the pixel3.
I hope all the above issues will be fixed by a future software update

The main reason you don't always wanna buy from Google is their customer support isn't too great. If for any reason you find yourself returning the phone for a repair or trade-in, be sure to take several pictures of it before sending it off. Video of it turning off and on, the speakers working, and the phone being totally reset is also a good idea.
I'm really enjoying my P6P, and they're finally doing better with the bug fixes on it. Congrats on the new phone, hope you like it!
Tracking last night showed delivery today, but I think it missed a handoff and now shows delivery tomorrow. Good enough. Gives me time to sort through my current phone and delete the crap. The problem is what to do with three years worth of original size photos. I'm a pack rat and don't routinely delete stuff.

Save everything to your computer. Get Backup SMS and save all your texts and phone log to an outside source. If you use the Authentication app either make sure you have it copied to another phone or the backup codes for your apps just in case the original craps out in the transfer. Also do a full Google backup when you see it on the truck for delivery. You should be good to go at that point. Oh yeah, copy everything. Delete it if necessary on the new Pixel.
Hi folks the Pixel six is here! Thanks for putting up with my impatience.
Pretty phone but I'd didn't realize how thick it would be! Anyway I'm setting it up. Most stuff transferred easily via the cable method from my old phone. Had some scary moments with Angry Birds 2 until I remembered how to sign in through Google play. But all good now.
I've got to get a better charger though. I thought my OP6T dash charger would do it, but being a USB A device apparently I'm limited by it.
Searching threads here for great info, will try to minimize repetitive questions.

Hi all, Several lessons out of this thread!
Google as mother company of Android is on top to impose their mandatory services to collect our data, but weak in promoting, selling, shipping and supporting their hard products!
On Android point of view, no doubt that bugs will be fixed in the future and improvements made.
Having said that and coming from Samsung, I got my first google phone P6 at a distributor shop and I'm very happy with it.
I know there is no "ideal" device, however here, my expectations are fulfiled.
Enjoy using our new toy
