i own a XOLO Q1000(Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0) having a custom Android 5.0 ROM.
the issue am facing is that when I open Messenger to Send any SMS, It don't ask for Selecting a Network through which the SMS has to be sent.(As it's a Dual Sim Device)
however, when i make a call there is always a notification in status bar to select a network for call.
but when i try for text, it don't allow me to make any selection but instead of it, the SMS is sent through SIM1 everytime.
Pls Help me in fixing the issue.

Hi guys, i have a problem with my alcatel OneTouch pop C9.
I can send/receive SMS, Data works, i can receive calls, but when I try to call someone i get this error.
on top, when I try to go in Mobile Networks---->"Preferences" or "Network operators" I can't open the menu, but i can open Access point, 3g service etc... what can I do?

I'm having the same problem with my chines phone Android 4.2.4.
I can't send sms or make calls, but i receive them.
I'he put my SIM in other phone and it work.
I also tried to put others SIMs into my phone, it doesn't work.
I even did a factory reset in my phone, still the same problem.
It's a dual SIM phone, so it may be searching for and show this two options. But just one SIM is activated... i don't know...
I've found a piece of the code where the message appears with comment, and it says:
<!-- Available networks screen, setting summary text -->
<string name="sum_search_networks">Search for all available networks</string>
I'm starting to think that it could be hardware....
Any clues?

I resolved upgrading my rom... I think that also "reinstalling" the room could work

I am Non-verzon user having XT912 spyder my stock ROM is working perfect but the issue is when i install custom ROM through Safe strap with additional Slot my Signal bar is not showing signals although i can receive and make calls perfectly.
Moreover it shows verizon network not my service provider name
and lastly but most important i cannot send messages i don't know why every time i try to send messages its sending failed amazingly i can receive messages perfectly, make and receive calls.
Please suggest me any solution.

Go to /system/app and delete cellbroadcastreceiver.apk this will solve the lost signal issue
Use another messaging app as the default one has an issue on all kk roms

when i want to enter in the call setting to change the forwarding setting, i cant enter.. i receive some message like this?
"Call settings error Network or SIM card error."
im not using verizon sim card!
some solution for this problem?
