Smart keyboard pro
Flext9
Basically swipe with better customizations and word correction
Then swiftkey x, since I like the arrow/ cursor option
I like Gingerbread Keyboard
The original and official Galaxy S keyboard that comes on the Galaxy S official stock ROM. None of the custom ROMs or the galaxy S keyboard that people ahve released suposedly being the official one are the same as the true original one.
But since that one is so hard to come by I like Swiftkey X. Got it free from Amazon. My 2nd favorite "aftermarket" keyboard would be Smart Keyboard Pro

Me too, but I noticed that the gingerbread keyboard on the market doesn't recognize the keyboard calibration. You can calibrate all you want and it just ignores it. So I went back to the stock keyboard.

swiftkeyX

We are. The thread is about the best keyboard. Most people here seem to prefer other keyboards besides stock EVO one so stop trying to bait me when you aren't complaining about anyone else who also prefers something besides the stock EVO keyboard.
SwiftKey x is really growing on me. Love having the arrow keys.

Flext9 seems cool. It didn't work on my evo 3d

Swype beta 3
I have been using SwiftKey since it was free on the amazon app store recently and its been great I highly recommend it.
I switched from swype beta 3 to SwiftKey x just recently since it was free on amazon and haven't looked back. The word recognition is way better than swype.

I've been using Smart Keyboard Pro, and I really like it.
I really like Thumb Keyboard. I had it on my Evo 4g, too.

(REQUEST) Galaxy S II keyboard from korea/phillipines firmware

Heard this is the keyboard to have, they have no patent rules there and the keyboard is top notch with everything loaded in unlike here and other parts of the world because of patents and apples hissy fits lol(so i hear)
can anyone rip or post one the korean and phillipines sgs 2 firmwares are available.
heres the video i first heard about it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGEZUlEGeEE
If we get the right dev or someone that knows what they are doing (not me lol) we can have this amazing keyboard as well!
Here's a testimonial front someone.
"I saw this keyboard in action from my cousin's GS2 from Korea. It's insane. I can type on it all day at probably 95% accuracy. With my stock gingerbread keyboard, I'd be lucky to hit 80%"
the keyboard part starts at like 3:57

[Q] Trade iPad 2 for tab 10.1

I have an iPad 2 16 gb 3G been offered a trade for a p7500 I'm leaning toward doing it just prefer android over ios. Although I do admit my ipad has been a good tablet my main gripes with it are the speaker which it seems the 7500 does better. Also I was hoping to be able to Bluetooth tether from my galaxy note to conserve battery over wifi tethering.
Has anyone else made the jump from an iPad 2 over to a 7500? Any regrets?
All of my family members use iPads but me. 2 ipad 2s and 2 iPad 3s.
I use galaxy note 10.1 and I love it. I would never trade mine for any iPad including upcoming iPad 5.
Lol but that's just me. I am just saying I have no regrets. I love s pen. I dunno about gal tab 2. I only used it for one day then sold it. I liked galaxy tab 2 10.1 but i wanted the pen.
Anyways u will like the tab if u like ansroid. U are talking about tab 2 10.1 right? Not tab 10.1.

Believe it's the tab 1 the p7500 I've done a lot of searching online seems to be similarly specd as the iPad 2. Obviously the tab 2 is better but I'm hoping the tab 1 will still keep me satisfied for awhile.
I would probably just stick with the ipad if I were you.

Oh, yes, stick with the ipad. If it were a tab 2 10.1, It'd be a fairly good deal, but giving away an ipad2 3g for a p7500 you're being had.

^ This comparison/review is pretty straightforward...
Ill will trade you my t-mobile galaxy tab 4g.

Apart from the tab 2 being newer and having a micro sd slot, there is absolutely no difference in spec to the original tab 10.1. The original wifi version cost £400 while the tab 2 only costs around £250 at the moment. Its not a better device.

[q] Galaxy gear Smartwatch or other smartwatches

Does anybody know if the galaxy gear smartwatch or any other smartwatch is or can be made to work with the droid dna? Thanks!
no. it won't work with the Droid DNA. These samsung smart watches are designed for samsung phone such as the Galaxy S5 , Galaxy S4, Note 3, etc..
I've heard about the gear working on the nexus 5 so it may work on aosp or cm roms.

I have the pebble smart watch. Love it. Does what I want it to. Last six days on a charge. Idk what all yer looking for. The pebble can't make calls, but it gives you any notification you want. I'd do some reading on the gear. It doesn't have very good reviews, and last I knew the gear only works on Samsung devices.

I have a Sony smartwatch that a friend gave me. It works just fine with the DNA.

I love my pebble. I have no desire to get a galaxy gear because I love it so much. That being said, afaik as long as you have root access you can make the galaxy gear work on any phone, you just need the right supporting apk's from touchwiz. That's how people have gotten it working on the nexus 5. I don't know how well it works though, my guess would be not as well as it does on a Samsung phone.

SO many keyboards - whats good now?

I have been living in olden days of when I got the first Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant. I still have swype, paid version! Are there any other keyboards out there that are as accurate and nice looking? I didn't like the google keyboard or the LG keyboard. I didn't feel that either of them were nearly as accurate as the swype keyboard. I tend to miss half of the letter when I swype and the swype board understands me still. What else is out there that is accurate, has nice crisp HD quality tight lines and has theming ability?
I'm using this Xperia Keyboard
Have you tried https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.touchtype.swiftkey&hl=en The best keyboard I've found. It's always the first thing I install.
