Ethernet support - Redmi Note 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
I´m trying to conect to the Internet through a ethernet/giganet USB to RJ45. It allows direct conection from the router to the phone.
You need root, and OTG support (RMN2 ok), ethernet apk from google play.
I´ve used with MotoG (qualcom SD400, android 5.0.2), MiPad (nvidia tegra K1, android 4.4.4), and Pipo P1 (rockchip, android 4.4.2) and perfect.
But I can´t used it with this Mediatek Helio X10, android miui 5.02....?¿?¿
I installed busybox, mediatek uncle tools, etc. but It still doesn´t worx....
Any idea, suggestion?¿?¿?

Thread by kevinf28, but I´m afraid that it´s too complicated for me, new kernel, etc.
With the liberation of the source code of processor Helio X10, It would be easier to modify a ROM/Kernel to introduce ethernet support, for ASIX AX88772 chipset drivers,

Click to collapse sir do you have guide on rooting pmp3670b or any custom rom. my unit encountered bootloop(stuck on 2nd loading screen), and i searched in the prestigio website, and they have this step using sd card and phoenix tool, well i followed the instruction given, it has successfully loaded, but the touchscreen did not work... do you have any links? for that rooting?
I'm interested in how to root this tablet too, I want to OC and erase all the Prestigio apps, but I can't find any tutorial to do it.... :crying:
[Q] DVB-T dongle on android tv box
Hello I just got my new Tronsmart s89 tv-box with an android 4.4.2 based OS. I am trying to connect a rtl2832u DVB-T dongle (the one of the 10$ on aliexpress) to one of its sockets but it is not responding. I tried a few drivers i found online but it did not help. How can I make both of these devices to work together? Thanks!

Hello everyone! Gamepad Logitech f310 usb / otg does not respond when I connect it to Xiaomi redmi note 2 (MIUI MultiROM stable 9.2.2.0, android 5.0.2. Kernel ver. 3.10.61, Mediatek Helio X10 MT6795 Cortex-A53 ). Found the information that there is no module in the kernel. "xpad.ko" I think. Where can I find this module? Hi, I have an 8" tablet with an mt6592, 8-core cpu. (The name Alps X5) Motherboard K1008 - MB-v2. 02-52C4 Lollipop 5.1 was installed Looking for a Rom that can be installed from Miracle box. I have tryed a few for similar Motherboard and mt6592. But no success so far. The Tablet wont start after that an twrp installation went wrong.
