Bluetooth + WiFi = Non-working Wifi + Dropped Bluetooth - AT&T HTC One (M8)

Alright, so I've heavily tested this with a ton of bluetooth devices and 5 access points, both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz.
When I have both wifi and bluetooth on, with the device connected to both services (both a BT device and an AP) neither radio works. WiFi says connected, but doesn't load anything, can't ping out at all. Bluetooth will find the device, connect, and disconnect within a few seconds.
I tested the same devices but only using one radio at a time and all the BT devices stay connected with WiFi off, and all APs are connected and load data with BT off.
Does anyone know what's going on? I've suspected this to be an issue since 4.0, but it's still around in 5.0.1. It's persistent across ROMs, so it can't be a rom issue. Currently I'm on Viper 4.6.1
Does anyone else experience this issue?

Bluetooth Phone As Modem Problems - ROM 2.17.651.0

Guys:
With the previous ROM that HTC pulled from their website, I didn't have these problems and now with the new ROM the problems have reappeared again.
The issue is when I am connected via bluetooth to my PC using Internet Sharing, every so often the Mogul will drop the network connection. It's really annoying. I noticed also that the bluetooth will turn itself off when this happens.
If I stream music or something where there is a continuous data stream, it won't disconnect, but if I am just surfing from page to page, it will drop the connection and I always have to reconnect.
Is it something I am doing wrong, or is this a bluetooth issue? I am connecting at 3Mbps using Bluetooth 2.0.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Bump!
Any ideas folks? I went out and bought another bluetooth usb adapter and installed it properly and I am still getting the same problem.
Can anyone help me?
My DSL modem went out yesterday and I have experienced this problem too. I'm running Vista on a Dell Latitude D830 with BT 2.0. After about 10 minutes, the BT setting on the Mogul is actually being disabled and I have to go back through Settings -> Connections -> Bluetooth and re-enable it.
Regards,
Tom
Just a little clarification, the disconnections and the Bluetooth icon turns off in the Connection Manager usually mean that the stack has crashed. When you Enable the functionality again you are starting the Bluetooth stack. Same problem was in the 2.16.651.0 firmware.

No bluetooth connect when wifi turned on?

Hi everyone. I recently noticed an issue whereby if I have my wifi turned on, my mogul won't connect to my car's bluetooth. I usually have it off but often when I insert the phone into my seidio car cradle the wifi switch turns on and the bluetooth doesn't connect. As soon as I turn the wifi off the BT connects fine. If I switch wifi back on BT goes off again. Weird. Not sure if this is interference or a software issue. I am on DCD 2.1 rom. Anybody else? Any way to have the Mogul ignore the hardware wifi switch or assign it a different function? Thanks.
Mogul wifi
I have the same problem wiith the stock 2.17 ROM
A reasonable work around is to go into comm manager and just turn wlan off. Have to do it after each soft reset though. Overrides the hardware switch which is what I need.
ive never had this problem (currently using 2.2.6 but 2.17 was fine too)
i do know the 2 share an antenna though, could be an issue
Wifi and bluetooth at the same times works fine even before the leaked ROM stuff.
I use the Slingbox via WiFi and listen via bluetooth all the time.

WiFi disconnecting when using bluetooth headset

Seeking solution to the problem described shortly thereafter:
I have a Samsung Galaxy S III - GT I9300 - STOCK ZTO-4.1.1 without root.
I also have a headset bluetooth, Nokia BH-503 model.
When I listen to music via streaming (Rdio for example), and while connected via WiFi with the headset, the WiFi connection starts to disconnect and reconnect randomly. This only happens when I use my bluetooth headset.
I did the full wipe of the phone, I changed the channel of WiFi, static IP, have disabled the WiFi Power Save Mode (via * # 0011 #) and nothing of the problem being solved. Has anyone experienced this or have a solution to this problem?
Thank you.
Have experienced this problem with Sony MW-1. Changing any wifi or bluetooth-related settings did not fix anything.
I have the same problem with a Nokia MD-310 bluetooth receiver. From what I can determine it is a problem with Galaxy s3 and APT-X bluetooth audio. My SGS3 works fine with older A2DP bluetooth devices but as soon as connected to the MD-310 (apt-x) the wifi becomes flakey and eventually drops completely.
Did you have any luck with a solution for this?
I tried the same things as you, wifi channels, factory reset, but no improvement.
Have not had a problem with Samsung HS3000, use it all the time.
I've done some further digging and I believe it is related to WiFi and Bluetooth congestion through the sgs3 radio on the 2.4 GHz frequency.
+ At home I only have a single band WiFi AP (2.4 GHz) and can't maintain AptX Bluetooth streaming and WiFi connection. Audio skips until WiFi drops.
+ At work I have dual band WiFi. When connected on 5 Ghz I can stream AptX and maintain both connections well. Switch the AP to 2.4 Ghz, reconnect, and the audio starts skipping and soon after the WiFi drops.
Same behavior with two i9300s.
Regular A2DP Bluetooth works fine regardless, so it must just be the added bandwidth requirements of AptX that bring the radio to its knees.
I'm going to buy a dual band router for home and see how I go...
I know this is for 6 years ago,
I had this problem but that is solved now and i am going to say how, maybe someone have this problem right now.
I have samsung galaxy s5 and when i connected bluetooth headest and wifi be dissconnect
Now for solveing this problem:
First go to settings and then appliction manager
And show system apps
Then you must find bluetooth app and click that
Then you must click on "force stop" and then go to storage, now you must first clear cache and then clear data and you must restart an end
Now your problem probably is sloved

Wi-Fi internet drops when connected to Bluetooth speakers

Hi everyone,
I noticed that every time I begin to play music via Bluetooth speakers within 2 mins my wifi internet drops. I remain connected to the Wi-Fi but it shows no internet connectivity. Once I disconnect from the Bluetooth device and restart the wifi on the phone, it comes back to normal and works flawless. My wifi runs on 2.4ghz. I tried changing router channels but there was not much improvement. Is this a fault of the device or is anyone else facing similar issues. If someone can suggest a fix for this it'd be great.
Thanks.
Anyone!!
Hi. I have similar problem. I am using Pebble smartwatch, Mi Band, bluetooth headset, and laso radio in a car, so i have bluetooth always on. Lately i am experiencing massive problems with wifi 2,4 GHz(slow speeds, instability, dropping connection) - 5 GHz is working fine. Yesterday i have read some tips to turn off bluetooth, and EUREKA, wifi 2,4 GHz works fine.... I know that bt, and wifi 2,4 working on similar frequency, but hey, i didn't have those problems with previous Samsungs(S2,S4,N4,S7), so something have to be not ok with my S9+. I've recorded this behaviour https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJTPn_GjJs0 . Have you found a solution? I am gathering data for phone service under warranty.

WiFi disconnects very often when connected to a BT headset

Whenever I connect to any bluetooth earphone no matter what the brand it is, the wifi starts acting weird. It disconnects more often even when I am very close to the router.
I've already tried different bluetooth earphones but it's the same although those earphone doesn't have any issues with other phones.
So I am guessing that it's an OS bug which needs to be fixed.
Can anyone reproduce this bug and confirm it?
Software : RUI 1.0 RMX1851_11_C.05 (Bootloader Unlocked nothing else)
